I was at Walmart, today and I see Naruto the last and I was thinking "who in the right mind would watch that piece of crap?

 

Yeah, I saw it on iTunes yesterday, don't know how long its been available there but I agree what self-respecting Naruto fan (aside from the pairing fans) would want to buy it. And then I looked at the reviews, and like 95% of them were 4+ stars all praising the film, only like one review was saying it was just a sappy love story

As of now, yes. I suspect a small increase by end of the week. Really small.

Well they opened few more but the increase won't be that huge. So it's almost over.

Yeah it's going to go up a bit. But still that amount of money is really nothing in that industry.

I'm still shocked at the 80% drop in the second week. That's ridonculous.

The same thing happened with The Last though the second week drop was 62% not 80%. It think comiccon was what really help make it's earning, because most of it earning really were made on that weekend.

 

I think it will make about 700,000 by the end at best. I just assume that SP and SJ and kishi are still disappointed. Does anyone really know the cost to show a movie in that many theaters. It was in 5 time the number of theaters that the last was in i assume that that those theaters took more of the profits than they did with the last. They may have hoped that one of the reason the last did so poor was because it was in so few theaters and by putting them in over a hundred theaters their would be more people going therefor more profit.

Yes, I agree with Comic-Con helping them. But I have to add also the marketing and lies behind all these projects.

It is the last Naruto movie... it's the last one that tried to actually tell a compelling story

From what I hear if the merchandise does not sell that well in Japan then that means the anime there could be closed down and if this is right and Naruto merchandise does stop there then it could mean Naruto will be stopped for good.

True but me I like to show that I want to spend my money on something better and when fans do that, everyone at Naruto Sp and so on will see that we no longer care about it that our money is going towards better things.
