I'm wary about that facebook quote of The Last having nice romance in it. I don't suppose it'll be anything but NaruSaku if that is the case, but it seems a little strange. It is a Shonen after all and Kishimoto doesn't particularly focus on romance all too much. I'd like to believe it, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up.

 

I also don't want us to end up like the NH/SS fans with RtN. They jumped to conclusions it was a NaruHina/SasuSaku after the very specific advertising, but then it ended up being a NaruSaku movie. It's a possibility all these ship teases and rumors might just be trolling. Not the movie will be anti-NS.

Let's hope after all we got 3 confessions during the series why not a 4th one?

The problem with RTN is that there wasn't any teasing regarding ships. Fans jumped to conclusion because of 2 scenes and tried desperately to force us to believe that is was going to be a NH/ SS movie. There wasn't even a teasing from the narrator or subtitles in the trailers, just pure fantasies. Just 2 weeks before the release of the movie, SP asked us to write a little message to be featured on the website and they only chose NS comments for pairing related stuff, and god, wasn't that hilarious.

He would be around her so much I'm surprised he would even notice the difference, and why would he notice now? Its as if he's returned to the village or we're right in assuming they're canon in the movie.

well there was those colour pages kishi did, but naruto was leaning the hell away from hinata and while sakura was swooning over sasuke, it showed her love as shallow so... yeah. they really screwed themselves over on that one.

 

honestly, I want Sasuke dead in the last battle in Naruto, with Karin jump in the battle, give him chakra that contains poison inside Karin's body. I mean, it would be useless for Kishi to made Karin an Uzumaki without any purposes. I want her kills Sasuke hahaha. Maybe she loves him too much to let him being evil.

Not if she was with him all the time, his attraction wouldn't increase because he wouldn't even notice her change.

I think he'd notice. He's dense but he'd get it eventually. Besides, I'm not talking about NS, I'm talking about in general.

That's true. Though to be fair, the SS fans had more to cheer over based on the advertisements. Sasuke was showing interest (AU or not), Sakura was blushing and showing attraction to Sasuke. They wouldn't see it as shallow, they'd see it as proof. Though I'd agree about the NH point ... Naruto looked very uncomfortable leaning away from Hinata during that one advertisement. And their reactions after seeing the movie is still hilarious.

 

About The Last, I guess it's more that I can't believe the narrator would tease NaruSaku like that with the manga not even over and that this movie might have a romance in it ... it's just strange lol. It's ambiguous, but bringing up Naruto out of nowhere definitely is weird. It has to mean something.

I didn't know u drew those NS pictures,i saw them in deviantart but i always forgot to notice the author coz u know every time i see a NS picture i forget everything else.

It's been almost three weeks since the last release of any sketches. They should be out soon if there's any consistency or rhythm to this whole process of releasing tidbits of info that lead up to the movie.
