Not sure on confirmation but perhaps NS moment can happen. That would be one crazy lucky guess.Although I don't see it becoming real, if it would, I'd laugh my ass out, lol!

You mean the 645 rumour?
I vote no.
If yes, it would be a coincidence, a prediction coming true.
But I don't think it will happen nor do I want it.

NS moment, yes thank you.

I do think that moment will make a lot of people jump ship though. Again, using pairing in a plot device is huge. It's basically like tag teaming against the final boss and end it.You mean the 645 rumour?

Hmm. I just looked over 640 again. Sakura didn't get a single panel in the entire chapter. It would seem that Kish either thinks she has already had her shining moment or is saving it for later. In either case this is probably because he wants to focus on Naruto and Sasuke right now. Perhaps a NaruSaku-ObiRin comparison will be made soon and from that Sakura will start playing a more active role in the battle.

Good point, though I see it more as witnessing Obito's development to full power. Now that he's back, we have to see what's next.

A narusaku moment is bound to come very soon and possibly this volume because of all the stuff happening with Obito. Kishi needs to do something with that because if Obito was defeated like any other, there would be no point in all the flashback and all the "Rin"s. something that relates to Rin will definitely be his weak point at this point in time however I think Madara helping the alliance and backstabbing them after Obito is defeated might be a good trump card also. I personally see SasuSaku clearly ended before NaruSaku becomes canon and I know that will happen before the end of this war no doubt. Just hoping this war takes no longer than another two chapters to finish out.

I see it like this:
This arc: end of SS, rising of NS
Next arc or next phase (Sasuke): Sakura's realization, NS on hold for conclusion
Aftermath: NS becomes canon

Nice. It's good to have the same thought.

Sakura isn't yet there because the ones who have to do with Obito were focused on. Naruto is the sage itself, more or less, Sasuke is the Obito became, hence the whole "my fellow traitor" thing and well, Minato is his teacher.
Sakura will appear in the Rin resolve, I am sure of it.
I think the end of 640 was an opening ending for either the Kages or Kakashi/Sakura tagging somehow along.
At the end Kishi said what will Naruto gang do in front of the overwhelming power of Juubito... I smell an implication of other chracters as well.

If Sakura comes in early in the battlefield, then the parallel twist will trigger early as well. I think Kishi is creating a reasonable way to parallel Sakura and Rin. Obito can't just think parallel without connecting it. Look at Minato: he connected Kushina and Sakura because of her temper, which goes to show you that Minato went through the same situation with her. I wonder how. Maybe name calling. So how to connect Rin and Sakura. We shall see.

I can see a big hug from Sakura, and a "I love you" coming from both lovers.
Hinata will probably assist this event and will realize that she isn't the one who takes the most place in Naruto's heart. Like the first hug scene, she will just smile.
What only matters to her is that Naruto's happinies. (like Naruto for Sakura)
I also can see an approval of Minato before leaving this world and go back where Kushina's waiting for him, so that he can tell her that their son founded happiness and that she really looks like her.
Anyway, I just can't wait until that moment. NaruSaku becoming canon for real. This will finally end this ridiculous pairing war for good.
PS : I wonder what Kishi will do about Sasuke and Karin?
He didn't made her an Uzumaki just for the fun. She has to play a important part in this story, and in Sasuke's developpement and futur.
Will Karin become a Konoha Ninja? Heh... can happen.

As far as I can recall, I believe the rumor was simply that in 645, something is going to occur that comletely changes things in favor of NaruSaku - not that NaruSaku was going to become canon in that chapter (which would, of course, be entirely too early for canonization).
And if that is the correct rumor, there is definitely a good chance for it. Obito's awareness has come back to him, Rin is near constantly on his mind, Naruto appears to be Juubito's main target, Sakura just got a new powerup (with possibly more in store if she is going to actually release her seal), and Kishi went out of his way to show the readers that Sakura is keeping track of what is going on on the battlefield this time around (unlike during the Pein arc). I don't think Kishi would have given us that last bit unless he intended Sakura to join the action at some key point.

I do believe the reason why everyone is behind is because we were going through Obito's development. Last 3 chapters were focusing on Obito. First is about the hype of Obito (Hashirama confirming he's stronger than him), second is the combat (Hokages are taken down quickly minus Hashirama and Minato and Obito is very dangerous), and third is Obito's return (complete return, even more dangerous as some would say). Now those are out of the way, what is the next step? It would seem a full fledged combat will be engaged, especially figuring out on who will save the trio.
Rin is definitely a plot point that needs to be addressed as well as utilize to its advantage. Parallel is the only one unless someone can revive her, but unlikely at this point. Also, there is a reason why Sakura power up and being afar is happening at this crucial point. It seems...convenience. Now then, we have a rumor, which could be a very lucky guess if true, that NS is going to have a huge leap that pretty much tells everyone "This is the real deal. Not with me? Then leave me (manga)!" Next is 641, chapter 4 of the volume. We'll see the next turning point will be soon.

and I agree that 645 will become NS biggest moment, because let face it, this war start by naruto clone who became evil because his loved one dead, take nagato tnj and apply it to obito. And you will see the final blow to pairing wars.
And maybe we will see another chapter 599, but this time from naruto POV. We will know how naruto fall in love to sakura.
(And this just wishful thinking), what IF naruto never give up attitude come from naruto and sakura interaction in their academy day and that's when naruto crush happen and sakura "hated" to naruto happen. I mean if you read the chapter when naruto remember when he spar with sasuke in academy day, and iruka as them to make harmony symbol, at that time naruto didn't know sasuke.

Well, personally, I think SS is on the way out next because Hinata pretty much closed it by making it about enlightenment. SS is being build to the breaking point for Sakura to either end SS or suffer longer. Sorry to sound harsh but that fake smile tells you she's hurt from saying that line. 540 is a start, 635 brought back that loose feeling, and now, it seems like it's the perfect time to end it since Sasuke is there and all. I mean while I don't know where Ino stands, she got a somewhat closure from her dad, so she's ok. Sakura needs to deal with this. Will it be in this volume? I don't know.

Am I the only one thinking that the sasusaku closure and end we will see at the end of this arc will be bad? And by bad I mean like harsh so much so that it literally destroys the connection between the two. I can't think that if sasuke does something against Naruto, that Sakura will try and handle it well. She snapped at him for simply calling Naruto an outsider. Imagine if he attempts to kill him now. Things will get bad.

It will end very bad that is for sure..
She wont allow a single piece of hair to fall from his head , if Sasuke does something stupid or belligerent toward Naruto he is dead meat..
Sakura keeps a close eye on him , we know that Hinata is close to her , so this time she is giving her a play by play that she was missing during at the Pain arc.. I'm pretty sure she will interfere that is for certain and has been foreshadowed.. kind of
