TBH, ever since I heard of three versions of one interview, I try not to give interviews much leverage. I just stick to the manga, lol. I never know where to find interviews translated by official sources, and I don't trust interviews by fans, positive for NaruSaku/Sakura or not.

And if you're wondering about which interview, it's the one about Sakura's confession. First, I hear that Kishimoto refers to Sakura as "that chick" and talks about how terrible she is because lied in the confession. Then, I hear that Kishimoto intended to make Sakura look like a heroine by lying to Naruto, and by the backlash, realizes he failed miserably, and is going to make it up to fans and Sakura. And finally, I hear that Sakura's confession is complete and utter truth and that he feels bad that he didn't write the scene well...

DAFUQ?

For the first one, if he sees Sakura in such a bad light, then why was he pissed off about all the Sakura bashing by the Hinata fans? Surely if Sakura is so horrible, then the fans are justified for bashing Sakura. Or was that interview falsely translated too? Did his opinion of Sakura change?

All of these interview versions are just, ugh, which is why I take interviews with a grain of salt. Who am I supposed to believe?

Her character is based on his wife so you know...

I don't think Kishimoto ever said that. Only a mangaka said that Kishimoto's wife looks like Sakura. (Her facial features? Does his wife have pink hair and green eyes? Was he just kidding? I really wanna see Kishimoto's wife now, lol).

would be better if we had the source in japanese.
First the one is fake sakura is based on kishi's wife he would never call her character "that chick", the second i dont know, the third feels a bit legit when he said that he didnt write the scene well, since we know that he has difficulties to draw romantic scenes.
but still i cant take any of the three.

While I'm totally all for Sakura going to visit Naruto in her time of need, the reason she didn't visit Ino, or anyone else for that matter, was because they were in an AU... The only person she "knew" was Naruto. While its sweet, for me its not NS fanservice.. She didn't "choose Naruto of all people"; Naruto was her only choice.

Unless that scene didn't happen in the AU. Then ignore me (:

*Sigh* and I was hoping they'd have the same quality of animation as Shippuden 3, considering how bad the animation in the anime is right now.

I honestly think the poor animation is parts of the movie (because the reveiwer did say it was only in some parts) was simply because Kishi made them change so many things last minute. In all likelihood, the animators just ran out of time --recall that they gave some weird excuse for not having the trailer ready on time either.

Now, if only we can see that replicated in the manga so that those bashers shut up for good

I really hope that he has Sakura contribute more to the battle in the manga too -- she was so amazing in her fight with Sasori.

I think Shikamaru has already been promoted to Jounin just shortly before the war. If you consider Shikaku's nature, it's likely he waited until Shikamaru matured enough. After Asuma's death we've seen him finally mature, so I think that finally convinced Shikaku to give his consent and recommendation to Tsunade. Not only that, they were already planning to have him become one of the commanders, so they figured the time was now. If Naruto was going to be promoted to Jounin, I think that legally, Tsunade would be the one to give her consent, not only because she's the Hokage, but also because she's the only living relative he has left.

But otherwise, yes, Tsunade giving consent seems the most logical.

Nope

Kishi does not own the pierrot studio it's for rent even if it's a movie, so basically they paid an amount of editing hours when this amount expires instead of they bough the same package again they just bought a cheaper amount of editing hours with low quality.

it does not have anything to do with "changing things on the last minute".

I've already see this trailer but naruto it's the 9th on the japanese theaters and got an overall note of 80 from the critic.

Nakamura-san started off with something like, “With the latest developments, Sakura has…”
He said something like, that chick* (Takeuchi reacted to that “That chick” lol) is detestable for using Naruto’s good will, but, well that’s just how I’d think to write a realistic girl.

- “Since Sakura is the heroine”, “I’ll be writing from now on to show her with that disposition”

“Though everyone says Hinata-Hinata all the time…”

OK, here is the first version of the one I saw. Is he honestly trying to say that realistic girls or normal girls are detestable? Is Kishi sexist or something? Does he hates Sakura? Both?

"Sakura is detestable. Hinata-Hinata-Hinata, god, what is wrong with you fans? Why people no like my detestable character over Hinata, who's a sweet and nice girl?"



Q. What character would you like as your girlfriend?
A. No one. It’s characters I create, after all…

Q. If you were a girl, who would you like as your boyfriend?
A. Shikamaru. He’s smart and looks like he might be successful in life.

I thought the response would be, "Nobody. It's characters I create, after all." Kishimoto reacts very nicely to genderbender. Also, gold digger. xDDDD

Granted, this interview could be completely true for all we know. I'm tnot buying this, nor am I buying anything. I got this from OtakuCy for the record, is that a reliable source?

Interesting. That overall note, is it like metacritic. If so, that's pretty damn good.

Here's a fun question and be honest:

Say the movie is the same, but instead of NaruSaku moments, all of them are replaced by SasuSaku and NaruHina. They acknowledged that they love their counterparts and in the end, there is no date request. How will you feel about the movie, and will your opinion change towards the movie (ex: this movie blows!)

Well, seeing that I had little hope of there being NaruSaku moments before, I was disappointed but still hopeful to see Sakura kick butt and I really wanted to see Naruto and Minato and Kushina interact despite the inevitable end. Plus I was really glad to see Sakura's parents (I love her dad, lol).

So, I was disappointed but hopeful. Had a feeling I would cringe at the some of the moments.

But allow me answer my own question.

Well, I will be disappointed and leave with a confusion as in "Why Kishi changed all the sudden?" I would feel cheated not from the movie, but from the manga as well. My movie will change because NaruSaku bonds made the movie much interesting, so without that, it's straightforward and too fanservice for my liking. True, there is parental love, but again, movie will be straightforward and what not. But that's just me. Overall, I will be confused and think that Kishi will betray his own work, let alone NaruSaku. He is trying to manipulate us with these two newfound pairings. Not only that, but the movie will be good, but could've been much better.

@dovahkiin: I like your response, but why you delete it? It was the answer to my question in a nutshell.

Yes, that's true. But I'd rather have consistent animation throughout the duration of the movie. I've always had a problem with Pierrot's inconsistent quality of animation in the series. I don't want to see that in a movie directed by Kishi. Unless they decide to edit the choppy parts in the DVD, of course (it's not uncommon for animation studios in general to re-do the animation when it comes out for DVD).

Karin may be the one who has the strongest blood relationship with him, but she wouldn't be eligible to sign the consent . Y'know, this has got me thinking, if Jiraiya was alive to see Naruto make Jonin, he and Tsunade would together sign the consent form as if they were his parents. This would've later revealed Jiraiya being his godfather and Tsunade his blood relative to him. It would've been a touching moment because it would essentially make them acknowledge Naruto as if they were the son they never had, not just in spirit, but also legally like everyone else.
