You pointed out exactly what I hated about what happened to Sakura's character. In the beginning of part two, she was all about being there for Naruto and fighting with him to get Sasuke back. Hell, she even charged at him ready to fight! Yet, somehow by their second meeting, she can't do anything at all? WTF?! Even if she couldn't stab him, she could have aimed a punch at his back instead, she could have tried to get free from his hold on her neck, she could have did a lot of other things, that didn't make her look completely useless in that arc, but God for-kittening-bid any woman actually look like they can handle themselves in this series! It's not just Sakura when if came to Sasuke, every woman seemed completely ineffective, when it came to Uchiha especially.

 

It's disgusting the way Kishimoto had made Madara put Tsunade down and abhorring the way he drew Sakura calling herself weak for cry and begging, yet forcing her to do so in 693. The way that the only memorable women( Sakura, Hinata, Tsunade, Ino, Mei) all revolved around the men in their lives, while the woman that came off as independent and had no real attachments to men( Temari, Tenten, Shizune) were shafted to the side is criminal. Kishimoto should not be allowed to kittening doodle women, with the way he treated his female characters.

"Panic Mode: Engage", I suspect. This level of damage control must be pretty costly too. I wonder how much they're putting into that, and how much they're actually making back?

Oh that was a mistake...

 

I just revisited FMA:B openings and damn, why can't I get this passion anymore. I remember thinking opening 4 was the last one and said, "Ok, that's cool." Then I found out that there's one more opening and almost want to shed tear. It was a pure definition of ending it in a well deserved journey. I was like, "No, don't leave me! I don't know what other anime could be this good! Please...please..." Sadly, that ended up being true. Yes, I saw the anime before the manga. The last show that got me doing this. Anyway, I think I should buy the blu-ray soon. I love this series so much.

 

No lies, but what was the last satisfying all around shounen? I don't recall any.

2 years, naruto was 15 when he came back, 17 when he said goodbye to his dad in the war EDIT: wait that actually makes it 4 years since it was a 2 year trip, 4 freaking years yet naruto still thinks he has a friendship with sasuke? 0.0
