Oh, now you say Kage Summit is where it got weird. Lol. That's what I'm asking. I mean I understand what you mean, it's just Sasuke was getting more focus, story and all. That's an issue. It could have been a nice good/dark sides of story, but there was more to Sasuke. The main problem in the end is to make him coming back as a main focus. That already put you in the top spotlight. It's like saying I'm the one who can end the main problem, but I need help and all. That put you there. But Naruto is like there to solve problems, which is fine, but he doesn't end it until Kakuzu, which is fine again, but then Sasuke is like, "My turn. TIme to outshine you!" It's a mess. If you ask me, I think the prophecy part is a way to tell us he is the protagonist.

Well, it became weird, when Sasuke just ZERG-RUSH!111 to 5 kages summit, lmao, he could easyly kill Danzo with Taka's help, but no, all reasons went nowhere, just because he turned psycho. Arc was pretty good because of fighting scenes. But again, didn't you ask when it's was a signal for a bad end? I didn't care for Sasuke, so it was ok for me. And this whole prophecy part where kittented on when Hagamoro talked to Sasuke, and in the end it's Sasuke who qustioned a revolution to the world. Naruto was just "I'm gonna save you", all his promises to Jiraiya, Nagato, Itachi, Minato went into retconing...

He whooped as of Deidara in a half-assed fight, fighted with Orochimaru as 4 tailed, and practically killed Kakuzu. Never saw person that questioned this before war arc.

All of it is not full fight.
Deidara is not a full fight. It's a way to show the power of kamui.
Orochimaru is to show the power of Kyubi. It's practically Kyubi vs orochimaru.
Kakuzu is to display the power of rasenshuriken, like what he did to kabuto with rasengan in search tsunade arc.

The same could be said with sasuke and orochimaru.
