As for the Kakashi and Iruka thats just ppl being annoying and same goes for Naruto and sasuke their just friends and both are just emo.
I cant fathom how someone could support sasuke and sakura...sasuke is EVIL, tried to KILL her, and NARUTO, abandoned the village, Im sorry I just dont get it.
You would think everyone would pull for the underdog (Naruto) I mean that is the essence of this manga/anime.

I think the Love Letter Ninja Dude saying something along those lines while in the presence of Naruto and Sakura could be possible. Maybe Naruto would find the love letter which would lead to a misunderstanding which could either lead to a fair amount of humor or drama. Hell, maybe the Love Letter Ninja Dude somehow knows who Naruto's father is (Alliance intel on KB and Naruto or something like that) and would state a fist fight with him due to Minato killing one of his friends in battle (whether he's a Stone Ninja or from another village I can't tell without the headbands because I don't automatically pay attention to village uniform and clothing) or something along those lines.


Those are just my thoughts.

you know, as much as i'd love some kind of juicy fan-fic-y scenario, I have a sneaking suspicion that the Lover Nin will impede the N/S development, not help it. You know, where Naruto sees the letter and/or overhears the guy talking and it puts some distance between he and Sakura.

It wouldn't be completely out of place either: I don't have time to go through the hero's journey formulas, but there is a point when the hero distances himself from his personal goals to win the day. (Think ATLA, when Aang and Katara have a rift right before the big fight. Puts distances around main hero so he can do what he has to do.)

thats possible, but the whole Naruto getting "jealous" thing seems out of place, but i can see Naruto having to distance himself from his personal goals, but idk iif that would be included in the plot especially this late in the game.

Whatever happens, I only hope that when they meet again (most likely when he exhaust himself and is sent to the med camp), Sakura tries to stop him, he doesn't agree, they get into an argument, they get angry and Naruto starts to leave only to turn around and kiss her (be it in the forehead or the mouth) and tells her that he'll be back alive.

Please don't compare ATLA to Naruto brings up Bad memories Some wacko once told me that Avatar was better than Naruto now saying that Avatar is better is his opinion and I won't debate what is the best anime or cartoon because it is all based on opinion But it's definitely not more popular well maybe thats just my bias but the guy that said Avatar was better also said Naruto Sucks was an obnoxious ! so I want to &%*#*#^$^%&##@&@*^$#^&#&#&#^#&^@ him! now don't get me wrong again it's his opinion but to say something that is good sucks when it's actually great and popular even if you hate it is what makes me want to slap the S*** out of those kinds of people! There is a difference between acknowledging something and saying you like or dislike it,love or hate it. You don't haave to say you like it but it's only fair to admit that something is good if it's good or popular right?

I don't know if a direct comparison between a manga/anime story and an American cartoon is appropriate, but I suppose certain story-telling themes are universal. I guess I could see Naruto and Sakura distancing themselves from each other before the big fight with Sasuke, right before another happy reunion similar to the OVA scenario. Hopefully then the romantic drama will finally be resolved, but I have a sneaking suspicion Kishi's gonna drag it out till after the climax. Hopefully I'm wrong though, the sooner the shipping wars end the better.

I guess I don't know if the random love letter nin's gonna come back, as a character, to help develop NS, I was more thinking along the lines of his words to Sakura somehow coming into play. I'd love to see that! I'd watch a whole filler episode based on that premise!

Btw, not comparing ATLA to Naruto. Just the example of the hero's journey. And there are tons of hero's journey variations that might be better compared to Naruto.

edit: Hero's journey or not, I'm hoping Kishi throws a wrench in the plot, anyway!

I actually think that's how it's going to play out.

Naruto does something badass/cool/awesome, or at the very least, bumps into Sakura before he's about to head out to do something badass/cool/awesome.

Sakura looks at him, give a little sigh and a smile, and says, "You really are a great guy, Naruto."

And he gives her a startled look, then breaks into a giant grin. Says nothing, but runs off to do his Heroic Badassery, knowing that Sakura is the wind at his back.

Or maybe Sakura tells Naruto not to go fight but he goes anyway and later or even right their after he leaves some other random ninjas might be talking to themse3lves and say something like "man he is a great guy"....but those words have a high chance of coming back in some way or another.

I guess it all really depends on how long kishi plans to keep the main plot going the closer we get to the Naruto vs sasuke/Madara the closer we get to resolving Narusaku

You really should not let it bothering you. If that person thinks Naruto sucks, it being popular won't change his opinion (in fact maybe its popularity has fueled his hatred/disgust. And maybe he was obnoxious about it because he had met too obnoxious Naruto fans lambasting him by his opinion, so he was touchy about the subject. And no, I am not telling you were one of those hypotetical obnoxious fans).

Believe me, I am the first thinks people likes whatever they want, not what another person decides, and it doesn't mean the faceless masses are dumb or tasteless. But it being popular doesn't mean someone must think or acknowledge it is good.

If Maruto will see Sakura before he is faced with Sasuke, I want him to for once see
how much Sakura cares for him. Because everytime Sakura showed honest feelings for him
he was either knocked out or in Nintail mode. No wonder he didn't understand kitten when

That actually sounds like Kishimoto's style. He never lets even the vaguest hint of any kind of kind of difficulty between Naruto and Sakura last very long, it's always positively resolved quite quickly. And adverse events that happen to Naruto and Sakura when they are alone also serve to draw them closer together. It makes perfect sense that Sakura will take that painful moment when the ninja who has a crush on her reminded her that one guy she had feelings for turned into a decidedly not great guy, and upon seeing Naruto smile and think about how the guy she is in love with now is a great guy.
