Anyway, Now that we're on topic: What would you like to see in the Uzumaki-Haruno family? Elaborate on anything you want, such as house, family members, everyday life, jobs... Anything, really?

I'll start talking about it in my next post.

 

Well, one thing I'd like to see, Wolf, is just the interactions with the family. :) I'd see Naruto be Hokage of course, and Sakura being a top medic ninja and passing on what she knows to an initiative Naruto began to have medical ninjas be more frequent, even if it isn't easy. They do work hard, but they still make time for their kids and each other. As for a home, they'd be staying in a big place near the Hokage Tower and such, but also that they'd have a lot of photos of friends, family, moments in their lives, etc. I also imagine them with two kids, a son and a daughter.

I tried writing an Initial D type fanfiction with Naruto characters. Got like 3 chapters out I believe, but I think I really need to start working on that and my Slam Dunk Sequel Fanfic.

To be fair, it was how Sakura reacted to Naruto getting his headband back from Zabuza even when he knew he was outclassed and how in awe she was of his courage. And that's how I just kept watching and waiting to see what happened with them. And I was glad to see it from simple stuff to the more heavy duty stuff.

For example, the motto for the Chunin Exams.

That was the anime version. Since Sakura respresents Heaven and Naruto, Earth, according to this motto, the can get through anything together. Then a lot of parallels they had. Especially with Minato and Kushina. I just think Naruto and Sakura are pretty perfect for each other~

You see, I used to be in the Bleach fandom, and occasionally on Tumblr I would see Bleach posts that were about Naruto, as well. That’s when I started to get interested in Naruto. I had only seen bits and pieces at the time, but I figured that since the two series were compared a lot, I should check it out.

I heard it ended a few years back at the time, so I decided to see the series finale. I thought it was The Last, so I watched that, and then I went on Tumblr to see what other people thought of it. It was mostly anti posts saying “This was so kitten” or “NaruSaku should’ve been canon”, and I was like “What is NaruSaku?” So I did some research, and the more research I did and the more moments I saw, the more I got into it, and I was like, “Wow, this really should’ve happened.” Then it became my ultimate OTP.

Yeah I saw it. It was really nice to see Naruto with his parents, enjoying himself like he should. The one thing I really disliked though was how OOC Sakura was at the beginning. I really hated how she was portrayed :/

But I really liked seeing her parents, and how her father was Hokage instead of Minato. It was very interesting.

Well, I did here about some NaruSaku fans making a petition to ban Naruto because it didn’t become canon. That was pretty embarrassing... However, no fandom is perfect, so I didn’t generalize. The good outweighs the bad a dozen times :)

That's right. After Naruto's ending we had tons of trolls making fun of us and NS. They even took screenshots of our complains and shared them in their own forums. That was really sad.

They were real bastards about it, especially considering they lost too since their ship "won", but it was a pyrrhic victory since Kishimoto didn't do any real development and the story got screwed to compensate for such a shoddy piece of crap, though they didn't obviously care enough about the story of Naruto to complain. Reminds me back in 2014 where we had those youtubers out there who were praising "The end of an era" , how Naruto and Hinata were "oh so perfect" and whatnot. Then you had them making videos about why they dislike Sakura (some still make these videos), or why NaruSaku makes no sense (especially ones where they'd take fanart and bash it), etc.

 

Fortunately there are quite a few videos out there that speak the truth, but they barely get the attention they deserve. Well aside from the completely toxic comment section.

 For us, it isn't about if our ship "won" or not, we also were in it for the journey, to see Naruto's story come to an end the right way.

 

Among all the issues the ending has, one that bothers me a lot is that we never get a Hokage ceremony for Naruto in the manga. You know, the dream he's had since the very start. 

 

The closest thing we got was that crappy OVA where they made it a joke. Naruto didn't even get to attend it.

Almost missed this, finally something fun is asked that can hopefully stay positive. This fun little question should probably get its own thread even, since it's not really debating.
 
Focusing on strictly like to see:
 
Sakura: Some detailing on hospital administration. The good, the bad, the difficult. But if I could bring it back a few years, I would even more want to see Sakura run her own team, but the idea seems less plausible if the timeline is of Naruto currently being Hokage, due to Naruto being less able to managing the kids, and squad leading likely often taking her away from home.The idea of Sakura being a sensei just sounds awesome to me. Alternatively, maybe a First Lady likened position she takes on administratively, being the most loved and powerful kunoichi of all the lands. 
 
Naruto: I don't imagine Naruto that much different, so not much here. I feel he would still see the village as his family, and work super hard on it. I also do think he would be overworked and exhausted and struggle much as he does in canon, until the events in Boruto or what  happen. 
 
For both, some snippets of their pre-children life, just for silly fluffiness. 
 
Their Children*: (* Not really naming them, but if the name of the son was Shinachiku, as a little addition he would be briefly less than amused at the humorous origins of his name). Boy and girl, I would want them to be twins so they could be equally focused on. Thus pseudo sibling dynamic like in Naruto, or one very often not used sibling due to age difference like Hanabi, but an actual explore-able relationship filled with all the relatable things, rivalry, cooperation, conflict, and joy, and have it be right at the forefront. You could even sub out the Father-child conflict with this, though I think two different children with clashing views over their busy father situation would actually lend itself well to the narrative. They'd be on different Teams, and eventually clash against eachother in the preliminaries. Add in the cheating still and plenty of fun to be had. Already getting fan-fic ideas with this even. Also the sister's team would be all girls due to an error, but it would be kept that way out of interest to see how it goes.
 
The House: From canon Naruto stuff I would steal the idea of pictures. Brilliant, even. I don't really have a creative preference on whether it's the traditional mansion or something more modern, considering Minato never lived in it and it may never have gotten reconstructed after the Pein events. The house would be painted with warm, bright colors, and plenty of windows to let in light in every room. It would also have an ascendable roof with rails. Lived in this sort of set-up when I lived in Ginowan and having a nice view like that on your house is beautiful.

That is how it works, being all negative about characters interaction and their development hardly characterise you as fan of any of those. I am hardly can be called fan of NS after all this time, but you say things that doesn't connect to being fan of anything. I don't know why you feel entitled to come to every person on this forume and give them your opinion on how things "really turned out", if you are what you claim you are, you woud've been okay without this forume. But you have other reasons to come here and write what you write. Talk about being NS fan, and not even discuss it. Only debating why it wasn't going to happend or other things regarding canon. With all respect, hypocrisy is bad.

It is something I even mentioned to Nate about this when he mentioned we shouldn't make judgement calls on a person's "validity" on fanship. Problems is, people can and will lie. It is a part of human psychology.

 

I could say I am a NH fan and then bash Hinata into the ground saying how bad she is for Naruto, but my actions versus my claims does not add up. Plus, people don't believe you by word alone. You have to prove it. Imagine if I did the reverse to the NH fanbase going to a NH fan forum and posing as a NH fan and saying that all their analysis is bogus and they didn't read the manga right. I debunk everything with little to no retorts and my evidence is severely lacking.

If anything, despite what people do or say to Analyzer, we actually been really polite to her seeing how radical NH fans more often tend to give out death threats, constant berating, and even just down right team up and bashing the person constantly. Reminds me of Sawyer7mage who almost every Naruto video took a jab at NS. I remember the one about Kishimoto going to NYCC and saying "I better not see NS fans wanting an autograph on their fanart. That is pathetic." I actually replied to him with that one saying "We wouldn't want our beautiful fanart to be fowled by his signature anyway."

Point is we are actually a lot tamer than the other fandoms on a whole.

So Analyzer, you may claim to be a NS fan, but now you have to prove it. At least try to prove us wrong if you can and obviously, none of this "you have to believe me regardless" or "I don't have to prove anything" or "interpretation" or redefining the term "fan" will not help you. We are far passed that.

You show none of these traits and in actuality you go against several of the requirements to being a "fan" of NS.

Keep in mind, this whole forum doesn't believe you. I don't think anyone here believes you are a NS fan. So you're gonna have to work a little harder.

Why do you like NS in the first place? (You seem to indicate they are not meant for each other and yet you like them? That's like saying you hate Adam Levine's voice, but you love Maroon 5 songs and them as a band which doesn't make any sense and no, just liking the melody of the songs doesn't count. You can't hate the music, but love the band. That's ridiculous.)

 

Do you feel NS makes a better couple? If the answer is no, then you're not a fan. If you say yes, then why don't you think NS should have happened in the story and say that the story was retconned to suit against NS?

Do you make NS fanart or NS fanfiction? If not, why not? You're a fan after all. Even bad fanfiction can show how much of a fan you are.

It kind of goes with the territory that most NS hate the ending of Naruto. Some fro reasons of shipping...others because the ending betrayed character traits in the end and the plot itself. Like we keep showing, and as you keep fighting against, if the ending was intended that way then why waste 15 years building something up that was pointless in the first place. Kishimoto has said that he only ever had a loose idea where the story went and all he cared about was Naruto and Sasuke. Everything else was just...whatever. So we know none of this could be planned because he couldn't even plan Madara's demise let alone something as clever as "red herring pairings in front of people." He is not that clever.

Check list:
Enthusiastically devoted to something or somebody? You failed. You keep trying to prove NS wrong instead of trying to prove why it should have been like we are doing.
Show their enthusiasm in a variety of ways, such as by promoting the object of their interest? Not only do you show no support for NS, but you don't promote anything pro-NS related materials or even theories. You're so busy trying to debunk NS.

If you want to be labeled a "fan" of something...you're gonna have to support it. It's in the definition of the work itself. Like I said, no "accepting the ending" and "claiming that you're living in the real world and promoting for what it is" is not being a fan. I'm sorry, but them is the rules of being fan. You either have to accept that or you can't and not a fan

Lol, it was the exact same thing for me.

I watched Naruto in TV when I was still young, first disliking Sakura because of her absurd obsession with Sasuke, then seing how Narutos' courage inspired her ... sealed the deal for me.
