Not to mention it hurts our pairing's credibility even more (as if it needed any more of that...), because we're forced into a 2-year timeskip where basically nothing happens. If NS becomes canon, then they did this for... what exactly? For the sake of drama? Wouldn't it be better to have that early in Part 2, since it was all perfectly set up already?

 

If Kishi did that, he would have lost quite a huge fraction of his fanbase, considering that most of them are NH fans and Hinata lovers. He doesn't want that, does he? It's better to lose fanbase after the manga ends rather than when it's still on-going, ya' know what I mean?

 

It's all about the $$$.

 

But.. wait, does that mean that it'll be an open ending for the romance part of the manga. Gosh, IDEK anymore.

well in the new trailer she didnt say anything new but naruto added "hinata" in front of his quote about i gotta tell you something so wait for me. 

At least he still isn't calling her "Hinata-Chan"

No, before the movie. One would think they'd be at least clear, if not resolved in the source material, but Kishimoto could be the type to leave the manga completely open in order to milk his movie.

Not if he did it right. What he should have done is develop both pairings properly early on so both were plausible enough, then handle other matters and go back to this issue only in the end (maybe dropping subtle hints here and there for more effect). Not the mess he made for seemingly no reason.

Wow ok I tought chapter 700 was like an epilogue.. Well if i remenber Kishi said that at least one pairing would be canon after the manga was done. But now I feel like he will make us wait until the movie, that's lame

I have a hard time believing Kishimoto won't resolve the pairings in an epilogue at least, be it NS or NH.

If its an open ending in the manga then NH has a decent chance in the movie, but if its wrapped up in the manga they have a really low chance.

We don't know if nothing happens... wait for the last two chapters to say that. One of the focuses in this movie is love. I don't think it'll just focus on Naruto's love life but other characters, like Hinata. Love isn't just romantic. I'm hoping we get some scenes between Hinata and Hanabi's relationship since we have none of that in the manga. Looks like some of the focus in the love part of the movie will be coming from Hinata though.This scarf is from her POV. Her feelings not reaching him is from her POV. The only thing we have with Naruto and Hinata is that scene between them when they were kids and that quote. It probably has to do with their bond, but we'll see in the movie.

I love how you are completely confident and calm. Other's should be the same.

Does anyone think Naruto is the type to tell any girl to wait for him so he can tell her how much he loves her? That would be decidedly out of character. It's not like him at all. It's more likely he wants to thank Hinata for being there for him.

Well i think chapter 700 is an epilogue and its full color. i bet the pairings will be confirmed in it so we should know the outcome this thursday.
