It just that they repeated every thing that Fox new said about Sarah Plain. I am sure their are positive thinkers in the Gop, but most people can be easily brainwashed by tell them things over, and over again. Miss soppy I doubt you are brain washed. The video made them seem like they were brainwashed.

Brainwashed, you say!? The first two minutes of video showed a whole lot of people who didn't know squat about Sarah Palin's political policies. These are the kind of average American people who probably don't vote because they know that they don't know enough to make an intelligent decision. These people remind me of myself more than anything. They are simply being honest with the interviewer by stating that they don't know how to answer his questions. If they are being brainwashed then Fox or whoever is doing a crappy job of it.
I wish these people would get more involved and I wish they would vote.
A little advice Ryrinea; Stop criticizing everyone else and pay a little more attention to your own life. How can we accept your input as intelligent debate when you can't even write a proper sentence? Your spelling and grammar is abysmal. Your arguments consist of irrelevant links and you neglect to explain your points. If you want other people to make an effort, then start by making an effort yourself.

I beg to disagree. MSNBC is on par with Fox News, and CNN isn't that far behind. As blindeye said, they're all bad.

Oh absolutely, MSNBC and CNN both were so vile with lies about and misogynist attacks on Hillary Clinton during the 2008 primaries (Olbermann even made a coment that sounded a heck of a lot like a death threat against Hillary- on the air!) that they were spreading more false stories and making more attacks on Hillary than even Fox! (and believe me, the usual Fox suspects were doing their typical tiresome Clinton bashing- O'Reilly, Hannity, Hulme, plus the faugressive Colmes as well)

Bob Somersby's Daily Howler
http://www.dailyhowler.com/

is a good source from the liberal side revealing the games MSNBC and CNN play to fool real liberal and progressive viewers into not acting on liberal and progressive positions. MSNBC and CNN do exactly the same thing to liberal and progressive Democrats that Fox does to conservative and libertarian Republicans. I stopped watching fauxgressives like Olbermann and Maddow, stopped listening to Air America too because they were doing the same thing MSNBC and CNN do.

Since spring 2008 I get my news via the AP reports on Google (still has biases, but less offensively so, most the time.) and my fellow liberal feminst bloggers like Reclusive Leftist, Anglachel, Alegre's Corner, Tennessee Guerilla Women, etc...and liberal guys like Paul Krugman (New York Times journalist too) and Bob Somersby. You couldn't pay me enough to go near that fauxgressive, misogynist pit called Daily Kos, Huffington Post- ditto.

While I appreciate the sentiment and all, it's not necessary. I'm very loose about what I let go on in this thread and I don't to regulate debates in which I am actively involved for obvious reasons. I took the first shot on that. Besides, you make it sound like I use my power and position as an admin to win debates and silence others and I take great pains to avoid doing just that.

I don't agree with anything she says, but she's entitled to her opinion.

Don't misunderstand when I say this because I don't care about Sarah Palin. Haven't bought the book. Don't plan to buy it. Don't plan to read it.

But it's somewhat frustrating to see these kind of attacks on Palin voters and, in particular this kind of commentary, and yet, no one ever mentioned or seems to even know about John Zeigler's (yes, he's a conservative talk show host) study on Obama voters right after the election who sounded just as clueless and couldn't identify a single thing he actually stood for.

There are uninformed voters all over the place and of all political stripes.

No, I didn't just do a google search. I go to the those you talked above a lot, and yes all them are conservative news. You think other news sources don't lie about each other? Just a hint when someone of the other side said their bias for telling the truth then by all means the are bias. Also, most people said the BBC is biased are conservative, that can't handle the truth. Did you ever think about that?

This works both ways. And the majority of people who complain about FOX's bias are liberals, so does that automatically make them liars?

And with that it well past my bed time.

Hoo boy...I suggest reading Shakespeare's Sister, Melissa's blog posts on all the vile attacks on Clinton and the worst came straight from fauxgressives like Olbermann, I suggest reading Somersby's archives, Paul Krugman's archives. (those three are all liberals who voted for Obama by the way...)

Melissa's post with several MSNBC misogynist attacks on Hillary including Olbermann's most vile one referenced at the bottom of the post

http://shakespearess...ghty-three.html

I hope you read the whole series though. (114 parts that I see listed here- http://shakespearess...-watch-114.html

I'm too angry about it and couldn't give you a list without going into a rage. I'll never, ever forget it, much less even have the least desire to forgive the unforgivable. (Not that they've offered any apologies anyway)

Shauna, you'll probably be glad to know Melissa also covered much of the sexist attacks against Sarah Palin, even though she disagreed with much of Palin's politics. Many liberal Democratic feminist bloggers in their 30's and 40's like myself (Violet Socks, egalia, wlotus, anglachel, riverdaughter, alegre, Red Queen, etc....) were further revolted by the fauxgressives using much the same sexist words and images against Palin as they had against Hillary.

The feeling amongst liberal feminist women like the women above and myself is "I don't care what political stripe a woman is, misogyny is appalling and completely unacceptable, period."

Cynthia McKinney (Green party presidential nominee) was also smeared and misogynist attacks were launched against her by fauxgressives when liberal feminist Democratic women in their 30's and 40's like myself said we were choosing to vote for her because she and the Green party endorsed our ideals best.

All three women were called the "c" word all over fauxgressive blogosphere- a word that should be viewed as loathsome as the "n" is and never, ever used.

This was really emotionally painful for me to write as it brought right back to the surface the hell of 2008. The raw feeling of shock and betrayal as so called progressives and liberals (including some people who call themselves feminists) spewed out words even more vile against women than things said by women hating right wingers. It made me understand the feelings that second wave radical leftist feminists felt. I understand the level of misogyny that smacked them in the face on a daily basis. I was a kid during the peak of the second wave in the 1970's so only experienced that level of sexism a little bit, enough to make me a liberal feminist at 7 years old, though. I lean more intensely left than I did before 2008. Bless you Andrea Dworkin, wherever your spirit now resides... I understand where you were coming from much more than I did before 2008.

Don't confuse disinterest and apathy with dislike. I don't hate Sarah Palin, I just don't care about her and especially her book at the moment. Would I support her if she actually ran? It depends and you'll have ask me again when the Presidential primaries start. As a general rule, I'm not terribly interested in candidate's personal memoirs and my present concern is Barack Obama and the activities of Congress.

Cronkite did do that and from a military perspetive it was victory for the United States and South Vietnam. His characterization of it as a defeat was false.

Second, many disagree, especially when viewed in light of what happened to the South Vietnamese and Cambodian's after we left.

You honestly don't believe that do you? Because what your saying is that because of this guy, Barack Obama is immune to all criticism no matter how much his policies flop and no matter the basis for the critique. This is why Barack's charaterization as "post-racial" is such a joke.

I came to the conclusion sometime ago that because I am white, male, and conservative, there will be people who automatically assume I'm either a racist, bigot, homophobe, blah, blah, blah. I also realized how hollow such claims where and the only way to avoid such accusations was to conform my behavior and beliefs to the beliefs and opinions of people who I either don't know, don't care about, don't like, or don't respect.

If criticizing Barack makes me a racist, so be it. I think that's patently absurd and I'd say so, but I'm still going to cricize him regardless of what names people call me because I do.

Don't worry, I don't use the racist card in a debate. I hate it when people do that in debate it's does gives me an headache xd. I tend to think that people classify people with out really knowing them. So they assume that all Conservatives are racists rednecks ectt. That is not true at all, I know some very well educated Conservatives. For one, I am a liberal Conservative, and then their you Nate ^^. I also know a few who think people like the one in the video are idtios. I hate it when people pull the race card in debate.
