Digimon Tamers is better than the original Digimon in both story and character development.  However I still favor the latter out of nostalgic bias. XD  I like Takato as a main character because he's not the stereotypical bigheaded idiot you get in most boys' shows.  I give Digimon Tamers a 9/10.

What do you give the original digimon series a grade?

A 7/10. :D  The final villain was kinda stupid.  I liked the Dark Masters better (Puppetmon, Piedmon, etc) and they could've developed them more.  What rating you give the series?

I heard the villian came from the dead twice in 01 but 02 just felt stupid.

I give this series 8/10 since iit had likable characters and morals.

Me and my brother love season 4 the most ^_^ Season 2 and 1 go right after it.

Season 4: 8/10

Season 2: 7.5/10

Season 1: 7/10 (although this I'm not too sure about since it's been more than ten years since I've seen this series).

WORST season: Season 5

Nurarihyon no Mago -- 9/10; This one has ended up being a very pleasant surprise. At first I was thinking it wasn't going to be anything special and the first few episodes didn't impress me much, but as kept with it the more and more I liked it and now I'm in the middle of season two even though I only started it last week. I'm definitely going to read the manga as well.

To me, it's one of the best shounens I've ever seen.

Love Ed's and Al's brother relationship, no over the top romance, no stupid fanservice, splendid fighting animation quality, and the story progressively getting more and more exciting.

Although I could imagine some of the transformations rubbing people of the wrong way, but I'd have to go into spoilers for that. It does address/attack religion though, so it might insult some viewers...

I suppose I could see where some might feel that way, but even though I have a Christian upbringing I never really felt it was anti-religion. I mean yeah, Edward is clearly atheist and isn't shy in saying so, but the story also addresses the discrimination of people based on religion/race. Actually I thought it had a rather balanced presentation of religion versus atheism compared to some others I've seen.

I'm Christian, too, but didn't feel offended or anything like that, and agree with what you say.

It's just eveyone perceives religious representation in animes differently. Some are more sensitive than the others.

Kuroko no Basket 9/10

Amazing. The series is just amazing.

I still need to watch some episodes more of season 1. And then I think I'll just read the manga... But I'm not sure yet.

Other then that: kittening amazing animation. The comedy is on point. And all the charcters are unique, likeable and interesting. I still love how TGOM + Kagami and Momoi are the only ones with hair like that. Nearly every other persons have Brown/Black etc.

Absolutely a serie worth watching.

Barely on episode 30 of FMA Brotherhood right now but damn.... DAMN DAMN DAMN! It is one of the best animes I've ever seen. I've been missing out stuck on trashy shounen like Nardo and Bleach. FMA actually has some deep philosophical values people can relate to and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. It is never too late to watch it!! I give it a 9/10 so far and no I'm not overrating it. I love how there's no filler and that it gets straight to the point.

^_^ It's never too late for FMA Brotherhood. I still need to see the original series though that diverts from the manga.

That's good to hear. I heard some people don't want to start the original b/c it doesn't follow the manga, but I'll try not to let that influence my overall impression.
