I feel you. However, after Naruto's ending....all the characters in other series that resemble her are spoiled. All the characters before, like Shinobu from Love Hina, stayed pure because I saw them first before Hinata. If anything, Hinata was a horrible and bad copy of them.

As for the character, it is her expriencing the real problems with the Hyuga clan and hopefully take more care to notice such things.

Hinata is the most generic moe character ever created. The problem is that she was so generic that the anime, and her fanatics were able to fill her with their fantasies to make her their dream girl.

Still can't forget the fapfest that was the anime rendition of the Pain Arc. They dedicated an ENTIRE episode to her "Confession" when in the manga it was merely a few slides/panels. Not to mention the animation was top notch and silky smooth whereas Naruto vs. Pain later was goofy, comical and downright horrendous.

 

Also if I remember right, those high quality animation episodes in Naruto cost hundreds of thousands of dollars just for around 22 minutes. But priorities are priorities right?

Yeah it was ridiculous and that happened all the time in the anime. Another one was the waterfall scene with an naked Hinata. Honestly I thought that episode was very awkward when I first saw it. That is why nobody accepts the filler episodes being canon because alot of times it is forced crap that is just there to past the time. I can accept some filler but Hinata filler is usually the worst of the bunch.

If He WERE to take any blame, it was to make her in the first place But considering all things he can't be faulted for that. Hinata was merely a character he created. It was all of her wankers worshipers and social shut-ins jerking off to her porn that we got to where we are today with Naruto 

I still can't wrap my head around her popularity. Like Why? I can think of a good ten other moe characters with black hair that are better than Hinata in every way, but Hinata takes the prize? Like if you held a competition of "who is the cutest moe anime character of all time" the American fanbase would give her the gold medal just for standing there.

Reminds me of that behind the scenes OVA of Sakura getting pissed off because Hinata gains so much popularity just for saying "Naruto-kun." That's me. I just want to throw down everything and say "That's it. I am SICK of this. Why do you like her so god damn much when every other girl in the entire anime industy is ten times better than she will ever be? How can this stupid girl...this STUPID ONE DIMENSIONAL CHARACTER get so much popularity just for saying a person's name? Are you guys completely mental?"

It is blowing my mind and it is driving me crazy. And whatever reasons they give....IT IS ALL MADE UP.
"Hinata was there for Naruto since the beginning." No, she wasn't. She was behind a damn tree while Naruto cried alone. THAT IS NOT SUPPORT.
"Hinata saved Naruto's life during the Pein" No, she didn't. Naruto was going to be taken alive and if at all she nearly killed him by him turning into full nine-tails meanwhile every other character has already saved Naruto's life more than a dozen times including Sakura.
"Hinata supported Naruto's dream" No, she didn't. Nowhere did she support anything of Naruto's dream. All she did was say how she wanted to be noticed by him. She didn't help with Sasuke, she didn;t help with Naruto trying to attract Sakura, she didn't help Naruto achieve being Hokage. She did NOTHING. All she did was say Naruto-kun and expected to have the smex with him.
"Hinata is the most unselfish person in the entire show." No, she is not, because even she admits that she is selfish. Not once, but TWICE she said she was being  completely selfish and one of those times was the Pein arc confession that they love so much.

Where the hell are they getting this from? Then they say WE, the NS fandom, don't read the manga.

Sorry, whenever I think about this scene I have to bang my head against the wall for about an hour. It was a mental tick that I developed in my life since Naruto. Anyway, So yeah when it comes to this episode it is PROOF that the biased nature of SP is real. The fact that Hinata and the confession was SO detailed that you can even see the nose hairs from Hinata's nostrails poke out is such garbage. Especially when the Naruto vs Pein fight was like a really bad Looney Tunes cartoon. So much so that people made fun of it.

I tink the worst part is seeingt the people defend it with comments like
"It is supposed to be that way. Fighting animation goes smoother if you distort it." or "This was their way to express it in style."

They make excuses for it like it was all intentional, but forget that the other fights in the anime never looked that bad. Even the Sakura vs Sasori fight looked amazingly beautiful. This was just garbage because they blew their entire week's budget on just that stupid confession. I bet you if they released the amount spent on each individual episodes of Naruto, that confession episode would have cost over double of what they usually cost and the next episode being half the budget or lower. If they release that it would prove to people that the episode after the confession was cheapened for money contraints because they blew it all to draw Hinata's nosehairs.

I'll never understand her popularity either for that matter. I mean, okay, she has a somewhat sweet personality on the surface level. And? Nothing make sense. It's all about how she feels for Naruto, but they don't seem to mind that Naruto ignored her for most of his youth and it was because he was "too stupid" to know what love is. If that's the case, he's making Peter Griffin and Homer Simpson look like geniuses in comparison.

 

It also baffles me how SERIOUSLY they take her. Every time something bad to her happened on SD, they would get mad at the writers or go "SHE DIDN'T DESERVE THAT!" Like, none of you can take a joke? Every time I try to point out how she did little to contribute in the series, they go "Well, she's just a side character..." What? You get so worked up over a SIDE CHARACTER!? It gets more frustrating when they treat Kishimoto's twists like the work of a genius, then when you corner them on that, they say "Hinata is the best girl for Naruto, but Kishi kittened it up..."

 

Really, this is going to be an issue for new fans. They're going to be told how great of a heroine Hinata is, they go in with high expectations...and they're going to be disappointed. 

 

 

I also remember watching the X-men anime where the X-men go to Japan, and their version of Armor  was CLEARLY a rip-off of HInata. In all fairness, her eyes looked normal, and her personality was a lot better (it wasn't anything special, but at least she acted like a normal teenage girl. Not having a crush was also a plus) but the clear similarity still bothered me. Like, really?

 

 

Before, when I saw Hinata, I was just "meh" Seeing people sexually fantasize about Hinata, I'm like "Why? Anime has far more attractive girls than her" Seeing people praise her as the greatest heroine ever, I'm like "You need to be medicated."

I still don't understand why they blamed Sakura and accused her of not healing Neji. Do they NOT saw her dodging and avoiding fatal strikes of the tree-like spikes with Kakashi next to her?!! And the both of them were probably many feet away to get to Naruto, "Umimportance" and Neji due to those said spikes in the way!

 

On bolded: Neji should had stayed living but possibly lose a limp as such as a arm or leg at the end and Hinata should had been impaled. Masashi SHOULD had done that to not only pissed off her entire fandom but his editors and those silly Hinata Otakus at Studio Pierrot. That way The Last wouldn't happened, sent as a message  to them as way of stop having TOO much liberty of his work and the franchise would've been okay for the New Generation Project.

Her fans are really something else... So her Cousin died in front of her and she was thinking about Naruto's hands? for real? does she have a one track mind or what. They should have killed her off instead of a strong ninja like him. Poor Neji.

The only reason Hinata became a main character in the first place was to make her the love interest. No one not even SP is interested in her personal journey. I dont hate her and I dont blame her for nardos downfall but I hope the author moves on with the plot soon..😒

-She have immunity against Sasuke , while all the other girl fall in love with him.

-She is the only female in the entire manga that have feelings for a dropout good for nothing ugly Naruto.

-She is submissive and have nice body.

 

So in the eyes of Otakus she is the perfect waifus. It really amaze me how and why a side character that barely make an appearance got these 3 golden card. With these 3 golden card people no longer care about her background story , i mean shes a women after all , usually as long as women looks good , never object and have sexy body they can marry rich people , anything else no longer matter.

It is all those and: they sympathize with her because she is shy, some people do hate Sakura and just wanted someone else to end up with Naruto, some saw her as a underdog, most importantly she is the first true Moe girl that people in the states have ever seen. She is a female character that the US's media would never allow to be shown. The character would immediately be labeled a sexist depiction of women, that denigrates them by her very creation. Especially by 3rd wave feminist who are obsessed with making all media adhere to there standards. So, she is literally a type of character those nerds, beta males, male feminist, and soyboys have never seen before. Who actually fit how they really desired women to act. With her being the only real Moe girl (granted the most generic of the archetype ever created because kishimoto had no interest in her because she isn't his type) shown on toonami when it was still on prime time when they were growing up. If there was a better Moe girl in at the time that was in an anime that could compete with Naruto (orihime could because she was in Bleach that was put on adult swim) some may not have even looked at her twice. (A lot of US anime fans stopped obsessing over hinata when they found other characters they liked that were more fleshed out then her.) There wasn't so; they fell in love with her, they fetish-sized her, and ultimately they deified her.
