Read it yesterday, so that was his plan, makes sense, this is one of the things I like about Souma, that should be inspirational to others, it's how well he takes critique. It throws off all his oponants, they have a certain sense of pride that make them defensive when they are critisized, where Souma takes it on board and learns from it.

 

Also oh boy the worst two just met, I cringe to think what would happen if those two got together with Souma's old man and started a competition on who could make the worst combo that was edible.

WTF is with that ending, when it was posted here I thought it was a fanmade ending from someone with allot of talent and a warped mind, seriously that was disturbing specially the Madara Red Rinnigan on stalker girl...amusing how stalker girls all seem to have wierd eyes. Seriously what the hell were they thinking.

 

Looks like they are actually going to animate the holiday arc afterall, now i'm really confused as to how they plan to end the series, willthey have enough episodes left to to do justice to the first part of the exams, or will they put in a bunch of filler to make the Karaage arc last eight episodes? The fact that they announced the new cast that are introduced in the exams I think they'll still do it, but not sure if they will do it justice.

 

As for the Manga, not much to say, the real interesting stuff happens next week it seems, we'll find out how things really go, looking forward to it.

Imao, glad you've noticed how weird that ending is XD Not sure what they were thinking...
I'm assuming the Karaage arc will be a max of two episodes. They have to include due to the intro of the ninth seat. Which worries me b/c how many episodes are we going to have left for the biggest arc? The opening is auite the teaser, but Mimasaki (I think that is the giant's name who always copies others) is not in the opening. This means, we will not even get to the eigth finals I assume, but then again, we get to see the full moon which hints at the finale... Yeah, I think our worries about the pacing are legit.
As for the chapter: Kind of funny how looking at the moon gave him the idea to create a meatball XD Nothing really special otherwise.

Nope, I think there was a passing comment that gave Erina a clue to who Souma's father is, but not much else. So as of right now 128 chapters in Erina does not know the person she whose cooking talent sshe respects the most and the person who frustrates her the most with his cooking are father and son.

I thought the new opening was funny cause it was so over the top despite not even being a battle manga.

Glad you enjoy the anime. So far, they've been pretty much following the anime spot-on safe for reversal b/w two arcs.

What? SomaXErina is pretty heavily hinted at cause the 2 times Joichiro was gonna tell Soma an important lesson on cooking (or life in general) the panels always switch to Erina. Just saying. Not Subtle. But like I said SomaXMegumi is very well developed too, so this time I wouldn't mind if my preference didn't come true. THIS is how you make a contrary pairing believable people.
