You know looking back now I think next chapter will probably start with some trick by Naruto. I don't know what trick is going to save him from Chidori at close range but I'm sure Kishi will make something up.

 

It's interesting that Sasuke is going for the kill with Chidori, but Wind is strong against Lightning.  It's possible that Naruto has a trick yet to play or some strategic idea up his sleeve.

 

I just don't see the hero being beaten.  I expect a tie, but not that Sasuke will win outright.

By that logic Sasuke's throat would melt every time he uses a fire style jutsu and using chidori would obliterate his arm.

She might not need to trow herself in front of Sasuke's Chidori  I seriously think that there is no way for her to reach on time to stop it unless she has FTG . 

 

But I do think that those words might come in play upon seeing what seems to be a dead Naruto and for Sakura to use Chiyo's Jutsu  but the Jutsu doesn't work bc Naruto is still alive but she doesn't realize that  but Naruto later wakes up and incomes OVA scene hun and tears , that's one way that it could happen  .

 

But she doesn't even know Chiyo's jutsu.

I said that she "might" know it  its not certain ,  she can even pull a new med jutsu on her own to parallel Chiyo's words   its just a prediction .

 

But we do know the timeline trough Kakashi's reactions   it corresponds with the N/S  event   so its impossible for her to arrive now and stop this attack  if it goes like the  OVA then she will come at the very end when Naruto appears to be dead .

I already wrote that I did love the pairing before I loved it very much, when I read the beginning of part 2 I was like did sakura already forgot sakura and has started loving naruto. But the thing she did at LOI can't be considered true because later in 540 she was depressed about loving Sasuke. If she had moved on to naruto she wouldn't have thought of sasuke but naruto who is indeed a great guy. Then their is the choice of words in 693. Nobody just says I love you to a close friend if the person she now has feelings for is right there. And don't tell me that she doesn't know that Naruto loves her. Sai pretty nicely told her and she even said that the idiot's in love with me.

Well, I just happen to have a completely different interpretation of those incidents. 

 

540- The fodder mentions she is a special girl and so obviously she would only love wonderful guys. She knows this isn't true, she knows she fell in love with a criminal like Sasuke and she feels sad about that. 693 confirmed this.

 

675- Kakashi's vague words could imply two possibilities:

1) Despite all of Sasuke's idiocy, Sakura still loved Sasuke.

2) She worried for Sasuke only because she wanted to save him from the wrong path and not because she was in love with him.   

Again 693 confirmed the second one to be true.

 

693- The first thing that Sakura says- " Despite your many faults, I still loved you. I cannot believe you have turned out this way! "

Those words are not of a person who is proud of whom fell in love with. Sakura was ashamed that she ever fell in love with a guy like Sasuke. 540 interpretation confirmed.

 

The words that followed, well.. I am still trying to process. Its very vague. Does she love him or did she love him? Does she love him or is it just a teammate/ platonic love...? It can be interpreted in any of these ways.

 

But what followed those words is very important. Sasuke assumes that Sakura is still in love with him. What does Kakashi say ? He says that is not the case and that all she wants to do is save him. It reinforces what was said in 675.

 

 

I won't say that my interpretation is the proper one but looking at the over-all story, I feel it makes the most sense.
