Yeah he did but I have this feeling that since Sasuke is the only left with the Rinnegan. That he's going to have his "Darth Vader" redemption moment, so to say. Where he realizes he took the wrong path, he did a lot of bad things, bla bla bla you know the usual crap. And then he goes into his state of how can I redeem myself, oh I have a Rinnegan, I can bring people back from the dead.

If Kishi goes for this route, it will also bring back the Uchiha's honor. The last of the Uchiha dies as a hero "saving" the world.

 

Now how do we get there? Well a lot of flashbacks and talks about romance, oops I mean bromance between Naruto and Sasuke. And eventually Sasuke realizes in a really dumb way that Naruto is truly his lover, oops again I mean friend.

Cause you can see her bicep. Yeah, she looks cool. but in general I don't like how Kishi's been drawing her during the war arc -- since the Alliance arrived to aid Naruto, that is. Before that she was drawn beautifully. I've been let down.

She was really selfish when she knocked out her teammates during the Summit arc, just to go off on her own and "kill" Sasuke. I don't know how people can think that she was only trying to help Naruto.
Also, during the Pain arc... Hinata wasn't really being selfish, she was just trying to help. Although she was actually useless.

She was doing it to take the burden off her teammates and Naruto, and prevent an international war... How is that selfish? And Hinata herself said she was being selfish so case closed.

Wooo, that was a good chapter.

 

A lot of things going on, development in plot, and a lot of action moving forward.

 

Smart on Sasuke. Naruto can't afford to kill Sasuke. He needs his eye. Sasuke CAN afford to kill Naruto.

Exactly. Gotta give him credit for that.

 

and d'awwwww for Kurama being all tsundere lol. Had a feeling him and Gyuki would stay with their previous jinchuurikis. I think it says quite a bit that Kurama actually went and asked Naruto to "help [them]".

 

And now, their final battle has come (came a lot quicker than I'd expected). lol I wonder if when Naruto said that this "brotherly" feud ends here, did he mean because it turned into the feud of an old married couple?

 

Also, I was thinking the five Kages meant he was aiming to kill Tsunade as the Hokage, but seeing Kakashi's reaction - did he mean Kakashi? Or was that just Kakashi reacting to protect the leaders as the "next-in-line" Hokage?
