I have to say with what's going on the ninja world is in deep s***t hell maybe they should just call the Doctor all 13 of them, the man with no name, lol I'm joking but hey...

I really hope Sakura does something. If her being the distraction was the height of Team 7's "teamwork" then that was really lame. I do like that she wasn't affected by the Infinite Tsukiyomi, but at the same time hope she proves Sasuke wrong with his analyses of Naruto and himself being the only capable ones, though... I think he's just being truthful there. 

 

The way I initially read it, Tobirama was the only one unaffected outside the Susanoo, but then I think I misinterpreted because it seems all Edo Tensei are unaffected? 

 

I don't know how I feel about this chapter. It's interesting, but feels a bit lacklustre. I'm curious to see what Team 7 will do, but will be really bored if it just ends up being Naruto and Sasuke's stuff while Sakura and Kakashi continue to stay in the background.

I know it looks like that, but what I understand is that Kishi wants us to wonder about it, but that in reality, Sasuke cares.

Kishi is very smart man, if you remember there was a panel where Naruto told Kakashi and Sakura not move from his side that allow Sasuke to save them all and little after Sasuke stop Naruto from sacrifising himself since he knows that without Naruto the fight will be over.

If that's the case, there's no point of saving Sakura and Kakashi. Kishi puts his pieces for a reason. He's like "Hm, all others are going to be in that world. Not them. I got a plan." I would agree with you if and only if she did get caught. But she didn't. Though you can troll by having missing a punch on Naruto, so she swing outside and get caught to the genjutsu.

I don't think you're a troll exactly but I do have a feeling you don't care much about NaruSaku and mostly post in here to stir up the people who do or to share your own bad feelings.

 

I haven't once seen a positive post from you in regards to NS. Your posts largely consist of calling out others on their alleged hypocrisy or anything that involves Karin. While that isn't bad in and of itself, the fact that it's pretty much all you do is kind of annoying. I've seen other users reprimand hypocritical viewpoints yet still have constructive posts of their own that actually relate to the pairing. Your'e a mostly negative presence on this board in my view. 

 

I get that some people aren't exactly thrilled with the way NS is going and/or the manga in general and I'm not about to tell them they're wrong for the way they feel, but why feel the need to come in here and attempt to bring others down with your pessimism? How about if you genuinely don't like the pairing or have nothing constructive to add to the discussion, consider refraining from posting here? 

 

Sorry for the rant, I'm just kind of tired of seeing all the negativity on what is supposed to be a NaruSaku fansite.

Pretty much. One thing I want to add, Sasuke saving Naruto and everyone else is because he needs them. He only saves people can be useful to him. After they become useless Sasuke goes on a killing spree.

Trust me Sasuke might not care about his teammates right at this time but at sometime he will I believe in this even more than NS and also the spychotic Sasuke is long dead.
Even I a anti Sasuke can see this.

I haven't kept updated on the thread so not sure if this was mentioned , but who is that at the end in Konoha on top of Minato's head  wondering what happened ? He also does not seem to have been affected by the genjutsu . That can not be Minato himself , can it ?

Very interesting chapter, in my opinion.

 

It was refreshing to see characters we haven't seen in a while, especially Sai, Bee, and Yamato.  I really liked the details this time -- the inclusion of all the Daimyo, average villagers, even the cats -- and how we could see the far-reaching effect of the Infinite Tsukuyomi.  The whole concept is quite frightening, to be honest.

 

Chapters like this remind me of just how much overall effort Kishimoto has put into this story.  The details of the plot and characterizations alone are tremendous in scope, but then he must draw it all in a way that conveys the humanity of each scene.  

 

More than any other in recent memory, this chapter demonstrated Kishimoto's vision in a comprehensive way.  Older story threads, events we've been waiting a long time to see, were pulled back into the weave.  As an amateur writer myself -- someone who has only a glimmer of insight into the difficulties of bringing a story in for a landing -- I can't help but appreciate the moments where most of the tapestry Kishimoto has woven is visible.  It's an impressive accomplishment.

 

As for the specific events in this chapter, I am not 100% sure how to take Madara's exclamation, "We can finally be one!"  At first I thought he meant he was finally unifying humanity through his will, and in his vision of "peace."  I mean, that's what he's been talking about all this time, right?

 

But then I thought... maybe Madara meant that he and Kaguya could finally be one...?  Is that it?  I don't recall any specific moment where we saw that he was aware of her.  Could it be that she's using him without his knowledge?  That she's waiting for him to complete the work so she can take over and control the world according to her will/image?  

 

Finally....

 

Considering this thread is already 20-some pages long, I can only assume there has been a lot of freaking out and other nonsense about Hinata's appearance and Kishimoto's prank of following it with Naruto's concern for everyone.  Pages and pages of the usual overreaction and paranoia over nothing, right?  

 

*sigh*  There's simply been too much time and energy spent on trying to shore up the sagging confidence of some fans, and it's to the point where I personally can't take much more.  I have never wanted a story I've enjoyed to be over as much as this one, simply to be free of the hysteria that one pathetic non-character imposes on the parts of the fandom who should know better -- certainly by now.

 

Complaining about what Kishimoto is doing with Hinata would be like complaining about someone constantly telling you your fly is open, and when you check they say, "Ha ha! Made you look!"  After the second or third time it's your fault if you keep falling for it.

 

Kishimoto is a storyteller and an entertainer, and he's juggling a lot of expectations.  Keep your eye on the unwavering truth about Naruto's love for Sakura and her journey toward returning his love, and keep it off your fly.

Well it was an ok chapter, too short though.

 

The Hinata part was kind of annoying, I'm beginning to think Hinata's Bloodline Limit is to keep the pairing wars going, since that is all she does. I don't know, I'm just venting here.

 

On a positive note, it was good to finally see what happened to Minato, Killer Bee and Yamato, as well as Tenten with the sealing items.

 

Hope Sakura and Naruto do something badass in the coming chapters, and that part with Kaguya was creepy, a bit, makes me wonder if she is up to something.

I wonder that too. I mean it just disappeared in favor of pants when she was at the medical camps lmao. Maybe Kishi figured a skirt was kind of impractical during a war. Plus if she were to be wearing a skirt while sitting on the Zetsu like she was in 540... aha.
Good thing someone happened to be carrying an extra pair of pants to loan to Sakura.

Nope, it was estabilished that he does care about them but views it as obstacles to his ambitions.
The fact it's shown that deep inside he has feelings for them it's because he will be redeemed afterwards.
If he didnt cared about them after all i dont see how Naruto would "save" him if he doesnt have feelings for anyone to begin with.

Also there's no choice there to begin with, on that place there was only Naruto and Juugo as living beings, the rest where the kages and the alliance was some few miles away from there.

I swear dude you're unbelievable. Can you show me where does Sasuke show that he cares about Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi? After part 1.

that's minato. he ftg himself away with madara's orbs, to allow 8 gate guy's attack to be successful. i guess he landed on the head because he had a fight with tobi in the kyubi attack incident, he might have marked a spot there.
