No offence to you Dark, but as far as I remember the scene, she used Naruto's and Sasuke's inspiration to gather confidence in herself and that's what really showed her development. She was frightened and could've easily step aside, but NO! She used Naruto and Sasuke as her inspiration and instead of backing off she gathered all her guts and took the lead. Whether it worked out or not that's another story.

She was frightned, she used it as an inspiration but no planning, she charged in and told them that she's going to be a diversion.

And btw, she cannot see or sense Madara's limbos. Only Naruto can sense them and Sasuke can see them. So I really don't see how she was going to 'tackle' the limbos.

That's why she should not had charged against Madara, she didnt had any info about him, and he had two rinnegans.

So what your saying is sakura is finally getting a wake up call? I don't know i think sasuke trying to kill sakura back in the kage arc should have been a wake up call for her. Sakura clinging onto sasuke dosen't make her any better as a character it makes her weak and kinda pathetic this is something i do not want at all for a herione of the manga, but kishi really loves to drag out romance drama even if it does messes up sakuras reputation in the process. 

 

I remember one time you post there is no reason for sakura to still love sasuke at this point and i pretty much agree.

 

So what does that make Naruto who sulked over Sasuke the entire manga? Who took beatings for Sasuke, was willing to die for Sasuke, and everything? Naruto who still calls Sasuke his great friend despite Sasuke trying to kill him several times, abandoning the village, insulting him, and etc.

 

You know, if Sakura is pathetic for doing this now, then I guess Naruto is the most pathetic character in the series who is the real lovesick puppy over Sasuke.

Agree, that's why i felt ridiculous people criticizing Sasuke for trying to cut Sakura in half actually he doesnt care about them, it's their problem if they want to keep being masochists because of "muh bring Sasuke back".

About the beating, i felt that made me rage on Naruto's stupidity it really made me hate his character and later he goes humiliate himself in front of the raikage to forgive Sasuke, and hyperventilate.

Maybe because they had no time to really think // and, IMO, it's all because Kishi wanted her to TAKE THE LEAD for her to not be bashed again... he put her in the front because he knows Sakura is bashed and he wants to make her more look like an heroine. But I think whatever he will do, nobody will be happy with it.

 

The big gap between translations might be an help in the understanding too, because MS and MP are really different on Sakura's thoughts before she charged.

Well, I would say what Sakura did was a reckless action, especially against someone as overwhelmingly powerful as Madara, but at the same time I don't think she was acting thoughtlessly. Sakura knew that she would be able to repair any damage she might take and for that reason she chose to take a chance, knowing the possible risk. She certainly wasn't driven purely by emotion like Hinata was when she decided to jump between Naruto and Pein so I don't think it's an equal comparison. And honestly, how much planning can you really do when your opponent is a virtual god with no apparent weaknesses?

okay you have a point maybe she isn't as bad as naruto with the sasuke obsession but the way how the panel was shown to us did make it seem like sakura wants the old sasuke back.

I really wouldn't be calling sakura just foddered to that point when madara had his clones block her

 

While she did have a plan when she said he created a distraction, she only thought she could hit madara, the plan was otherwise for the start of that event in which sasuke would see and naruto would sense the other clones. Besides it was otherwise also not anything that would end up costing sakura anything, I mean the technique worked to heal her.

 

But with this whole deal about how she was saddened that sasuke didnt care for her safety, literally I see SS slowly declining like this I once did to another player in GTA online killing them several times:

 

I sniped them, then shotgunned them, then used a machine gun, then snuck up on them and hit em with a bat, lured them into a trap and blew em up, ran them over, stole a tank they had and blasted em with it, and so on until I took out gasoline and burnt the already dead body once the player decided to run from me.

 

yes thats a videogame but the metaphor of SS declining fits the bill.

The Hinata argument still stands. What Hinata did was stupid and reckless. Not because she decided to charge against Nagato/Pein/Whatever you want to call him. But because instead of help Naruto who was pinned to the ground unable to move, Hinata took her sweet time to confess, went there alone with absolutely no plan expect the confession part. And did absolutely nothing to free Naruto. She didn't even try.

 

Moving on to Sakura. She is a badass for what she did in this chapter for a couple of reasons. First of all she did back down then instead of thinking about Naruto's big and strong hand in order to push herself forward, she thinks about catching up to the boys. Secondly she had the balls to charge against Madara the God of Gods. And yes in the end she failed but that's because of two reasons. First reason that's Madara currently a living legend, this guy is on a completely different level so of course she won't succeed. And second reason Team Dysfunctional, Sakura charges against Madara and while doing this she tells the boys to take advantage and act. And instead of taking advantage of Sakura's move, Naruto and Sasuke stare at her like idiots, only to decide to act after Sakura gets stabbed. The girl tells them exactly what to do and they stare at her like idiots. Brilliant team work.

Regardless of how you what to view this moment Sakura did the correct move, Naruto and Sasuke screwed up.

Basically, if Madara would have attacked first, I need not tell you difficult it would have become to deal with it leave apart Naruto and Sasuke. Here if she didn't act first, Madara would have surely done something and though Naruto and Sasuke were to be saved from that, it would have been their responsibility to protect Sakura and Kakashi which again was a plus for Madara, since he leaves no opportunities unturned to finish off the main obstacles in his plans. So in a way, Sakura's first move was indeed a good option actually.

However, just because she wants the old Sasuke back does not mean she is still in love with him. We know she cares about Sasuke. We know she wants him to return and has expressed these feelings, along with Naruto, ever since Sasuke left. Even Kakashi wants Sasuke to come back too.

Indeed. Their options are rather limited. Sakura's plan is not the best plan ever conceived, but it was the best chance they had to get an attack on Madara. Madara has been an ever evolving villain in this manga and every time he always has one more power to counter act anything.

Really, what could have they done? The more I read the chapter, the more I realize that Sakura's plan of attack was actually the best option. So kudos to her for it. Also kudos to her from trusting her teammates to follow through. Even if it was a failure, it was a decent idea.

If Madara could only make one clone, the plan would have worked perfectly, but because not even Naruto or Sasuke foresaw him making more limbo clones means that there was no way to figure out if the plan would have been successful from the start.

Not gonna argue in this because it was stupid, Pain wasnt going to just watch her remove Naruto's bars either.
And she didnt had much to do either to charge.

I dont see how this has relation with my post but anyway, what she feels about being equal to them it's honorable but she must know that she has to accept her role, she's not supposed to take the lead not even Tsunade did that, Tsunade only stepped in when all the other kages could not take the lead.

Everyone has balls to charge, it's good for Sakura to have been capable of overcoming that fear.

They told her to wait, which means they were waiting for Madara to attack or were planning, but Sakura went ahead and there were the limbos.
I dont believe it was lack of teamwork but i believe is that the plan was ridiculous.
 

Regardless of how you what to view this moment Sakura did the correct move, Naruto and Sasuke screwed up.

She did the wrong move because one she didnt had any info on Madara skills aside from having two rinnegans, and second Naruto and Sasuke already fought Madara before, so they would know what Madara can or cannot do.
Sakura was the last person to make a plan on Madara because of her lack of information on the opponent, Sakura is not used to do this.

I wouldn't say plan would've worked perfectly since its Madara we are talking about in here. But yes, if it was for one limbo, the plan would have worked beautifully. Atleast it would throw Madara into some thoughts. Madara...is something else really. The fact that he made 4 limbos and no one saw that, you are right. There really wasn't a possibility of a perfect plan anyway given the time and circumstances

Googleismyfriend@ Sakura doesn't love Sasuke romantically anymore read version of 675 not the kittened up one from Viz. She cares for him as a teammate, Sakura like Naruto loves team 7. To see that Sasuke doesn't give kitten to the team saddens her because he doesn't love team 7 as much as hers. Its so hard to believe that Sakura doesn't love Sasuke like that anymore, but its so easy to say she will never those kind of feelings for Naruto.
