PAIRING GOGGLES, man, PAIRING GOGGLES.  Every damn chapter's ALWAYS gotta be seen with Pairing Lens/Goggles on, whether it's for/against NS, SS, NH, whatever.

We shouldn't worry about ss right now. Let's just enjoy the Sakura moment we have in this chapter. Just enjoy how Sakura jokes about the hokage thing. Be positive guys!!!!! Don't concern about ss

The fact is that Naruto has stated many times, his feelings for Sakura are pre-determined, it's not gonna change and the jokes and the latest chapters tells u this, the parallels also, like Naruto loving Sakura is destiny and it's not gonna change, with Sasuke we doenst have a single clue how his character works, the things he does, what he feels are not pre-determined like Naruto's, his changed his mind, his hatred erased, he changed his plans several times.

Sasuke's character is unstable, and asspull driven.
All i said is it's up to Sakura.

Chapter felt too short, it was amusing to see the teams carefree interaction, poor Kiba it seems now he's the new dobe that everyone just laughs at his proclamations. Sakura's power-up was the seal on the forehead...well I had a feeling it would be that but I was hoping it might have been somethng else....something new she'd been working on...though I wonder if the reason she managed to complete that Jutsu now was because she got a massive boost of chakra from Naruto just recently.

 

Also isn't that a Uzumaki Fuin Jutsu? I'm sorry Sakura that is a Uzumaki 'Patent Pending' Seal, you can only use it if you are a related to the Uzumaki Clan if you want to use it you are going to have to marry Karin..hehee

 

I bet the internet is going crazy bashing Sakura for noticing Sasuke and not Naruto, but to me that was a throwback to the early team 7 where she noticed Sasuke and Naruto felt jealous, but I think she knew Naruto had her back. (Plus her head was facing the right where Sasuke landed.)

 

Also wonder what the reaction to her proclaiming she'll be Hokage is, to me it ways that the will of fire from Naruto has infected her as well, others might thing different.

With all the elements in place it feels like that scene is inevitable. We have:

 

- Naruto complimenting her forehead way back in chapter 3

- The association with Kushina's hair = Sakura's forehead, and it being liked the their love inetest

- Further push of that association with Minato himself saying that Kushina = Sakura

- An actual forehead scene already showing with DanTsu which are also parallels of NS

- The fact that it could also serve as a way to replenish her chakra in an emergency

 

It kinda seems sort of in your face that it will happen. It has a bigger foreshadowing than Sakura breaking the medic-nin rules.

I'd like to comment once more on the quality of the art this time. Kishi was so concentrated on the quality of art that he totally forgot how Kiba is supposed to look.

The best thing about NS is no matter what happens we always got rewarded the most. We have gone through tons of moments of downplay, Kishi pushing Sakura to the side, and so many other things, and then we got ch 631 which was a huge victory for us because we got several confirmations. This small "SS moment" if I can even call it that is nothing.

So even if the rain falls I will still believe NS is the final pairing and 631 just gave me steel walls to add to my defenses.

I also feel like the forehead kiss would have wayyyyy more significance to NS than it does to DT since the complimenting of her forehead is where realizations were made from Naruto's end. It'd only be fitting that it gets brought back to life with realizations being made from Sakura's end and that's her feelings for Naruto. A perfect start and a perfect ending.

This^. This is why I believe in the end NS will eventually come sooner than we think. Kishi made this chapter like taking a ride back into part 1 with Naruto and Sasuke having a friendly rivalry, Naruto getting jealous that Sakura had her attention on Sasuke only this time like some members pointed out she noticed his small jealousy and decided to tease him in the tsundere way telling him she will snatch the Hokage seat from both of them. Eventually the bench scene will be play with Naruto giving a compliment to her forehead sealing NS as canon pairing for good. There was no SS moment fans are over reacting and over thinking things this was a team seven moment and also a huge boost to Sakura's character development.
