is it? I didn't want to see it because it seemed lame
Trailers and cover sure can be deceiving. Trust me, I was like that too. Thinking it look funny but nothing to go over about it. Then I see the critics' reviews, praising it a lot. Be it rotten tomatoes or metacritic, it's really high. So I was like, "What?! How!?" So I watched it last year and I know why. I applauded in my own room. I remember NC reviewed this movie, so I went back to see it and it was funny how he really like it and his brother tried to hide his real feeling, so he kept going, "Yeah, what did you really think of it?" Then, said that this movie is really good to the point makes you ask what the hell Hollywood doing when a building block is better than many of theirs. Better than what Michael Bay did for past 10 years. This movie is also the pure definition of how the ending makes the movie from good to great. I love the ending so much. It literally make your time mean a lot. If you should watch, do so.
I didn't go into it thinking it would have a great story, but I was blown away at how much I started rooting for Emmet
You went to the future? Nah I kid, but the movie came out in February 2014 (hard as it is to believe)
Whoops, sorry about that. Me neither on the story. It's all fun and all, but damn, the heart to it is something I wasn't expecting. The ending made the movie. All characters are just fun. I really like the twist on the prophecy part because I was like, "Man, why many stories do this..." Then that scene happened, I was like, "So why?" then the end, boom I wanted clap like how Peter from Family Guy was clapping so much when he first watched a "chick flick." I saw it like 3 times already. I just love it.
