I feel if NS were canon, this wouldn't have happened, NS wouldn't need contradiction to become canon and the movie could be about both Team 7 and Taka :/ People would be upset, sure but they will get over it because it would have the Naruto feel that we came to appreciate and it stuck to the story

Whole lot of natural fans saw NS as endgame, so I don't care what those NH/SS fans would be reacting like, one's are fans of stalker, and others are happy about destroying Sakura's character to the 0 point, they should be punished, not us, who cared about story itself and characters.

Yeah, I agree, man. The only reason SS and NH fans are like they are is they KNOW they have a pyrrhic victory after their pairings won. So they gotta attack NS fans as well as SK fans still since they know it should have gone to them, and they won't stop until their dying day perhaps. It's kind of a sad state of affairs. I guess even THEY saw the logic in NS.

I know it is, which means it shouldn't even last that long. Unless Kishi decides hey we're getting more people again extend to like 5-7+ years then yeah okay. I still don't trust him after all the stunts he pulled within the past 2 months. 

 

So it could be like this for now, but later on down the road we here in announcement Part 3 will go on for 2 to 3 more years because it's doing so well. Just know I'm very hesitant about it .

Well, DrakoxHermione makes me think that. I read HP. And I mean - I never saw them active anyway.

Go to the book section of fanfiction.net. HP still rules. Try to look for the lastest posted fanfics and you'll find more HarryxHermoine and DracoxHermoine than HarryxGinny. You'll also notice that even though this story is finished ff.net has stories for this series updated every 10 minutes almost.Same goes for the other pairings I mentioned.(at least for most of them). Usually when a popular pairing does not happen the fanfiction writers become more active to replace the ending.AU fanfics also increase.Also because the shippers that lost are disappointed the demand for these fics also increases.
I know this won't take away the pain that the canon universe has dealt us.But the manga evidence is strong enough to sustain the NS fandom for a long time.

Notice how Kishi seems to talk more about why NS didn't occur than the relationship between Naruto and Hinata in interviews? Yeah, it's very odd that he would talk about a relationship that didn't pan out over the one he opted for.

Well, it was obvious....even if you don't ship it, it's there because the story in romance aspect was leading to NS....so I don't buy anything Kishi says about misleading, it's ok to mislead but do it for 15 years is wrong and I highly doubt he thought of that anyway...he's just trying to control the damage done

Some of the most entertaining HP tics I've read have been ones written in the last couples years, well after the books were finished. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that as time passes and the excitement over canon pairings fade, people feel freer to experiment within the world.

 

Now if we can just get ride of the whole "let's rehash canon only with the MC having the opposite gender!"
