The error I assume you are making is making anything romantic out of it.  

 

Yeah sure. I mean - he knows what's brotherly love is, so he tells Sakura that he dosen't know the supposed sisterly/friendly feelings she habours for Naruto ... yeah. Makes perfect sense!

This actually ties perfectly with the Last's explanation. He wants Sakura to crave his acknowledgement, and not Sasuke's. Good point.

Besides, even if it did, it would have terminated upon the Genjutsu's dispelling, making your claim moot.

Suki by itself doesn't have sufficient weight to necessarily mean the love you are implying it means, while the others are stronger indicators that, yes, in their context, do mean love.

No, hold on a minute. What exactly are you saying? Don't give me this "incorrect conclusion" beating around the bush nonsense. I think everyone here would like to know why Naruto told Sai that he couldn't confess to Sakura due to not having kept his promise. You've told us that "the promise being a romantic thing" has been invalidated. So why exactly is Naruto linking the promise to his feelings for Sakura if it's not romantic? Was Naruto lying? Was he doing drugs? Do tell us what was going on, but without the usual fanfiction.
 
 

Saying it is a crush is -still- not fanfiction. Only liking her because of Sasuke would still make it a crush, but it is not the same as the love he feels now for Hinata. Naruto certainly has a crush at the beginning. This is formed out of competition. I.E. Crush. 

 
Nope, it's fanfiction. Show us where Sakura says anything about Naruto liking her, even if only a shallow level. The entire film is on youtube. Quote me the exact dialogue that proves me wrong. The only thing she tells us is that he wanted to compete with Sasuke and that the feelings he had for Hinata were real. Anything else is stuff you're poofing out of thin air (i.e. fanfiction).

He did suddenly end up with Hinata near the time that material was published. Chapter 699 and 700 came out.

And it's Option B then: Material that is inconvenient to your glorified fanfiction is to be ignored. I show you the databook and you basically say "F-ck the databook!" Glad we have that settled.

It's easier to understand Analyzer's posts if you understand that she's willing to accept anything in a story if either the writer talks about it an interview or according to her the writer adds *cough* retcons *cough* new information.

Whatever is said now or in the future is what matters. Anything that was mentioned before, doesn't matter, it's old stuff, nobody cares, it's irrelevant and it's not important anymore, and it should be ignored because it does not matter.

I know remember the time after Jiraiya died how Hinata helped Naruto through losing his godfather, or what about when Naruto failed the test at the start of the manga how she was there for her bestfriend.

 

the moment I like was when at the end of part 1 Hinata was at the hospital holding Naruto's hand that was when Naruto knew he liked Hinata.

Even one of the Kishi's assistants that was against the ending tweeted  that chapter 700 was decided three months before the chapter was release. And don't forget the fact the Kishi claims after TL aired in Japan that he considered NS, but decided upon NH happening out of pity for Hinata and popularity poles.
