Though! I will grant you this much. the notion of being able to sense chakra like she does could very well entail part of why she does love him.
think of it this way.
the notion is that she can sense chakra to a degree that is unique compared to other ninja that can do it. She can literally feel it in different ways almost as if she can literally see it even better and in more ways then the byakugan can.
if thats the case then that means that she can literally ""See"" a persons spirit and energy. in many ways shes knows a person better than even they do. Hence it is not unreasonable to assume that not only does she know Sasuke in ways that Naruto and Sakura dont because of the amount of time shes spent with him ((nearly 2 and half years)), but she has Seen his chakra, his literal inner self.
In many ways she has seen the truth of Sasuke, and thus it would not be out of the question for her to have fallen in love with that chakra, and of course with that smile.

this part of the manifesto to me clearly indicates where the story is most likely headed in regards to their re;ationship. The time has come or will come soon when they stop taking third part interference and engage with each other. when they trust the other to be able to handle that additional burden.

Naruto reminded her of both Dan and Nawaki in his determination and dream to be hokage and thats it.
Sasuke has nothing in common with Dan in even the slightest way and trying to draw a paralel with him is completely ridiculous. The two characters have no commonalities at all.

Exactly. It is... preposterous.
I guess some SS fans used that argument back in Part I, and someone decided unearthing it in spite of it became obvious long ago that paralel is preposterous.
Hmm... It reminds me of when Team 7 and Team 8 were searching Itachi and it looked like if Sakura was going to run into Sasuke (instead of Deidara). Some SS fans were thrilled at the thought of seeing Sakura and Karing fighting for Sasuke's love.
I thought it was stupid, illogical and demeaning to both women -and Sasuke, too-. And I couldn't believe someone seriously thought it would happen or wanted seeing it happening.
Of course, we got a scenario more logical and more sensible by far: Sakura attempting killing Sasuke in order to protect Naruto and saving Karin's life. Instead of fangirls fighting over a guy who is not interested on them (or at least on Sakura) and whose feelings they are not interested on, we got two women bonding about a painful heartbreak caused by the same person. Compare chapter 482-484 to the catfight they yearned for, and you will be grateful Kishimoto isn't listening to those fans or catering for their desires.
You know, arguing about this is reminding me of catfights in Ranma 1/2: they were played for laughs and the male whose heart was in dispute often tried stopping them. And he was in love with the girl refused engaging on those fights.
Do you want to take over the world, huh? Well, you'll have to go through us first!

I other words Karin will be the female version of Sai but understanding more human emotions, I feel sorry for N/H and S/S fans. This is the last thing they needed another N/S supporter.

I don't know if she'd even care for Naruto and Sakura's relationship, and I don't think Kishimoto is gonna go that far. I'll give it a chance though; maybe you're right, she could be interested, she seemed interested in Naruto (Not Romantically) and possibly his relationships. But remember what Karin said about Sakura and Sasuke "Shes an old friend, and she loves him too, but..." or something along those lines so I think Karin will be more interested in how Sasuke was when he was younger and what Sasuke was to Sakura. Though, I'm sure when she sees NS interaction she'd think other-wise :]
As far as SS goes, I think Karin knows that Sakura doesn't love Sasuke romantically, I mean she was the one that almost witnessed Chidori to the head.
...
As far as NH goes and there hopes of Hinata talking to Naruto when they get back to the Village; I find highly unlikely, unless Kishimoto just wants them to say they should stay friends and end NH there, I'd be more then fine with that :]
...
I wonder how Sai is going to comprehend all that's going on (emotionally) in these chapters. Poor guy, the most emotion he knew was that Naruto truely loves Sakura, but heck that's good enough for me, Sai: Official NaruSaku Shipper.

No. The only person she ever showed sincere affection to was Sasuke and then Naruto as time went by. She has just about the same relationship wtih Kakashi that Naruto has which is the bond of teacher and student.
