I'm speaking in general. I said so in the post. I said Boruto is the most sold Naruto movie, so many ppl called Naruto a scumbag in TL, yet they're giving him a pass now.

There are tons of hints and one shipping canon in the pokémon adventures manga. I think it's so much better and mature than the anime.

Yeah I like the manga more as well, more mature, better plot and the characters actually get older with time

is the manga even canon? I didn't even know there was a manga, I mean the franchise started as a videogame. I suppose whatever the creator has contact with, if he hasn't already retired.

I do know or heard the anime was meant to be like that but they wanted more for kids I hear.

Assuming that all or most of the anti-Naruto threads are still up in 2ch, I think Kishi's remaining  general fandom (not the the pairing fandom) is the size of  Kubo's fandom or less. If not, than most of his general fans he lost within the 8 months came back after watching the film.

There is a manga called pokemon adventures, I dont think its less canon than the anime, just a different universe, it generally uses the game protagonists in each new installment and links their respective story. I really liked the Diamond/Pearl,Gold/Silver, FireRed/LeafGreen, Ruby/Sapphire chapters


So the Ruby and Sapphire I'm talking about are not from Steven Universe, it's these guys



iirc they are the only canon/near canon main pairing in the series

heck didn't gold/ethan have a special to himself? (he did) johto should have followed him instead and at the season finale, should have been him vs a mature ash who became the best like no one ever was.

 

then ruby/saphire come out and follow both Brendan and May but not together. sometimes switching back and forth. no annoying nerd brother may has either. heck you could have them joining their respective team sides, Brendan for magma and may for aqua. it all ending to battling deoxys with a shiny rayquaza.

The manga series is kinda like that

IMO it would be a better anime than the current one, Ash was cool but following his 10 year old forever journey full of pairing teases that go nowhere and leagues were he never wins, did get a little tiring

Yeah, I haven't kept up in general since Gold and Silver actually in terms of playing the games, and the anime...I think it was after Johto that I lost interest, though I did watch some of the early (subbed) episodes of X/Y because I was intrigued at there being a female MC who knew AND crushes on Ash.

 (I'm rounded off the numbers)

Apparently by the end of the first weekend. Bolt made $380,000 and on the second week it earning dropped to $61,000. So it has made 441,000. But it says it earned a total of $502,000. What?

Wow. I was just about to asked the current box office. Well, it's typicall Viz to spike the earnings.

Even with that 502k, the film still needs another 150k to surpassed TL on U.S soil. And with an average of 61k per week, it may not reach to one million mark before the screenings are over.

Now SP has a choice to make. I think only SP higher ups are in a position to repair much of the franchise as much they can. The reason it seems that some of the Japanese are returning because of two things. very little NH and SS interaction and the film has more action. if the are planning to do a Naruto Kai like in the next decade or so, it's not going to look well the current pairings.

They will have to do a least 2-1 more Boruto films to appease the pro-Enders while they go with a different direction and explained to us that the Boruto series is just for fanservice while the alternate ending is the true ending in which Naruto successfully eradicates the shinobi system and children no longer have to become shinobi and go through the academy. It's going to cost plenty money, but if they want to repair the entire Naruto fandom. This is the only way.
