Because we already got the shock factor in the manga's ending. This movie is merely filling some blanks Kishimoto was too incompetent to address himself.

However something on this scale would shock the ENTIRE fathom, guaranteed.

In the end you could be right, right now it seems like a certainty but as long as there is a smidgen of hope (end pairings for main not being shown in 700) then I'm not going to back down. I know what I'm getting myself into as I've said before, but it's not anything I haven't been through already. I might even already be numb to it.

Right now there's no point in seeing the movie from what Kishi has said. How Naruto and Hinata fell in love? Is that really important enough for me to watch the film? It'd be too predictable. Hinata gets kidnapped, Naruto realises he has feelings. If there's one thing I know about any author is we all love the shock factor. We love to mislead readers and then totally blow their expectations. Am I thinking to highly of Kishi? Nope. We all know he loves the shock factor. So I don't know why on his last feature film of Naruto, he's just going to discard all that.

And the money thing can work both ways if Japanese Naruto fans are as everyone keeps saying and this lame ending won't affect them seeing the film, why should an ending like this be any different?

Not the kind of popularity any mangaka who wants to keep their credibility in the industry would want.

Although as it stands now, Kishi doesn't have much credibility because of this.

That wasn't shocking at all. Nothing happened that was shocking. What kind of an ending is that? This movie is the last story, so maybe the true end will be in this film. With what he's saying, going to see the film won't be shocking at all (NH), especially since this interview is so public and VOLUNTARY .

Agreed. Plus Sakura on a mission and Sasuke comes back when she's not there. Maybe she'll sort out her feelings with Naruto on the mission and come back to get her closure on Sasuke. At least that's how I'd write it. Especially if she gets worried about Hinata and Naruto getting closer.

Apparently other mangaks said that they use a cpr scene as an indirect kiss and it means those people are meant to be together..

There's no point since everyone and their mother knows how it ends (thanks to the movie and its heavy advertising). I'll be surprised if there's no drop in viewers.

It could be A different ending where Naruto marries Sakura, If the movie is actually nh/ss Lots of animes have differnt endings from the manga. Also Sakura never loved sasuke, she just fangirled. It's like girls and Justin beiber. No real love was present,she though he was this super cool guy.

A different ending from such big Hinata fans like SP? I don't think so. In fact, expect the manga ending to be seriously expanded upon with lots and lots of NH interaction.

That would be nice. I mean, they have thrown some NS bones recently when this movie had been in production for two years.
