I don't think no matter how you see it, it's gonna end depressing for someone, whether it's another pairing fan or Naruto/Sasuke death, you never know.

Hm. I'm not gonna say it was totally one-sided, I mean Naruto pretty much kept in physical contact with Sakura until he got up; at least that shows he's not to mad to just ignore looking at her all together.

He's not mad at her at all. It was definitely a narusaku moment.

I'm beginning to think that Sakura knowing to convince Naruto of his decision that if he fights Sasuke again both will die together will be hopeless, just like telling him to give up on chasing Sasuke. I believe she will agree with him if it comes down that if Sasuke attacks Konoha and Naruto will have no choice but to take him with him. However Sakura won't agree with him so what will she decide it's simple she will tell him:

"Naruto if you're planning to die with Sasuke.....I will die with you too because I can't live without you..."

...and after that Naruto, give her his famous smile, kiss her on her forhead, and tell her that she have a charming forehead and that make him want to kiss it . Sakura remember the bench scene but before she could say anything else Naruto knock her out.

I know it almost the same as the' thank you' scene and Naruto knoking her out is cold but if it comes to this, Naruto won't let anyone involve in this (espacially not the woman he loves).

hmmm but then if that happened it would be double jeopardy with the fan pairings in some ways its good because if sasusaku fans say its not love than we can point at there "MOMENT OF SASUSAKU" and say double standards, but it also works viseversa. lol though nice speculation though.

Kishmoto left there confession hanging because he's being cruel because all the fans that love her and angry NH fanmail! NS hasn't upset him. Plus, there team mates, they have to be together all the time so there bound to have to talk if they wanna clear the drama and etc.

Also, Kishimoto isn't/doesn't wanna bring a secondary character like Hinata into the main drama plot, I'm pretty sure her character is done :]

Now I don't know nearly as much as most of you guys do, but I felt like adding that after Naruto came back from fighting Pein, Hinata just stayed in the background and let Sakura walk up and hug Naruto.

Now Catsi probably meant this, but I guess I just wanted to add that just in case Catsi meant it in a more metaphorical sense.

thats precisely what i meant. if kishimoto sensei had intended for Hinata or her confession to mean more than they did, he most certianly would have had a releived hinata be the one to rush up and hug him.

but he didnt.

he chose to be very specific in who made this incredibly affectionate gesture of thanks and closeness to him. And it was Sakura, sakura the girl hes chased for so long and who at the start of the manga claimed that the one she disliekd was Naruto. goes from disliking him to performing an act that is almsot exclusively reserved for people in a deep intimate relationship in asian culture.

this is quite a specific action done for a very specific reason. just as Hinatas quietly standing there with a warm and accepting smile on her face was.

Hinata during this hug is show along with the rest of the rookie 9 to show ehr reactions. All of which are positive. But unlike the rest of the rookies and team Gai who are shown in specific frames with their teamates.

Hianta is shown alone. the only reaosn to show a persons face in a solo frame is to emphasize their reaction and or emotions to a specific scene witnessed by the character.

in conclusions Hinata did exactly as the character would do in such a situation. She quietly and courageously stepped into the background to allow her hero to follow his heart.

That's perfect. Shows exactly what Kishimoto intended on doing, obviously Hinata just wants Naruto to be happy; letting him be with who he wants to be with an not OOC her by pushing Naruto on the subject.

I will find it funny if karin decides to take a semi liking to naruto in upcoming chapters and that makes her jealous. It would definately make me laugh as well as add more n/s to the already growing fire. Like karin would want to get to know naruto more and sakura not approving it or something lol I could just see that happening personally.

Actually, Sakura tends to quickly make friends with female characters. I don't think Karin will be a rival but a friend. Even the rivalry with Ino has basically gone by the wayside and the friendship renewed.

Karin may play a role in Sakura's life something like the role Gaara has with Naruto. Ino was the parallel to Sasuke, but a much more positive friendship with the rivalry more easily resolved, Lee is the parallel to Hinata, Tsunade to Jiraiya, I'm suspecting Tami (the little girl Sakura saved from the giant centipede) will become sort of the parallel to Konohamaru, but more a real student of Sakura (we might not see that till the very end of the manga though since Tami was probably only about 5 years old or so), Karin kind of fits as the Gaara parallel.

Beyond that as far as Sakura's female friendships go, Chiyo played about an equal role at the same time with Naruto and Sakura, but Sakura and Chiyo's emotional bond was much stronger than Naruto and Chiyo's. Sakura also has a emotional bond with Shizune, and there was a hint of a friendship between Temari and Sakura. So I'm seeing a likely friendship bond between Sakura and Karin.

Im really interested in the potential of their friendship and the potential benefits it could have for both girls. Seeing as they have both known Sasuke in 2 separate parts of his life.

yeah I know, I am just saying if karin developed a crush on Naruto that would be funny because we all know how she can be and we all have a good idea of how sakura would take it. Now do I this will happen for sure? of course not. but it would be awesome if it did.

highly unlikely. Karin simply put isnt that shallow. Shes in love with Sasuke and and itll be pretty clear to her that Sakura is in love with Naruto and vice versa. Her interactions with the two though will be priceless i grant you that.
