I considered Kishi a terrible shonen author officially with how bad the last fight with Sasuke was. If that didn't confirm he no longer cared nothing else would.

Yes, he's bad shonen mangaka. If not for NS I will drop this manga 4 years ago. When I only care about romance in shonen battle manga about rivalry, then there's something wrong with this manga.

I mean I agree that it's not the character's fault but Kishimoto's,. I never hated any character of any written story/visual story, I don't know why people do. But I guess what people saw and felt, was different from what you saw/felt.

Willing to throw away everything? Like what? Her friends? Whether she's traveling or not, Ino will still be her friend, Tsunade will still be her mentor, Kakashi will still be her teacher. Heck, even though Tsunade left the village for twenty years, people still respected her. In your opinion, do relationships just die when you travel? What if Sakura left the village to train the Suna medic nins for two years? Will her relationships with Ino or Tsunade fade then? Abandoning a village and her friends is you just creating a flaw about her that doesn't exist. The real disgrace Sakura did was following after a guy who tried killed her like a love sick puppy, NOT abandoning her important people or village.

Depressed is only a reason of why he abandoned Hinata and is not a depiction of the action Naruto did. It's like saying "Obito is bad because he was depressed over Rin" instead of saying "Obito was bad because he conducted mass-murder". Usually, I wouldn't mind you use that wording, however I find it a problem when you use actions to describe Sakura and compare them to Naruto by the reasons. It's like saying, "Sasuke trying to kill his teammates is as equally as bad as Obito feeling sad about Rin's death". It might not be your intention, but it does look like you're trying to make Sakura look worse and Naruto look better.

Are you saying that they are equals in that they are trash? Or equals in what they did?
If it's the former I completely agree with you,
If it's the latter I don't agree. Because it's like saying Obito and Sasuke are equals in what they did. And if people say that a mass-murderer who killed millions are the same as murderer who killed 2, 3 people I think that is quite pro-Obito and anti-Sasuke because it's undermining Obito's crime and overstating Sasuke's crime to match each other. As trash as they both are, dragging one down to be on the same level with the other only benefits the other and it's unfair to the one who had to get dragged down.

The difference between Tsunade leaving (pretty sure Jiraiya was more than irritated with her for that, as he did get on her about that) and Sakura leaving is that, in your own words, Sakura was electing to follow after someone who tried to kill her like some love sick puppy. In doing so, in my eyes, she weighed Sasuke against everything else, and decided he was better. Thus my use of abandonment. 

 

Fine. Sakura is trash for the reason I listed, and Naruto is equal trash for getting depressed and giving up. No problem in saying it, didn't think there was much difference. 

 

I feel that they are equals in that they are trash, but at the same time they are equally trash. Many things that they had apparently done and thought are similar in my eyes, thus to me, they are both at the same level of trash. They both turned out to be shallow, hypocritical, terrible people, and I probably won't ever forgive Kishi for portraying them as such.

There's no longer anything you could say to me about someone doing something "OOC" (out of character)

 

What could be OOC for the characters now? Sasuke converted ideologies immediately after waking up from a nap after a fight. Also he was romantic.

 

Naruto became much stupider, was using Sakura as a way to defeat Sasuke, needed genjutsu to realize someone was in love with him, and like someone mentioned earlier was about to abandon Hinata after being rejected.

 

Sakura went right back to fangirling showing she had zero growth in the manga

That's why I said in terms of "genre" it doesn't work. For a kid's story happily ever after is what works

 

If terms of the overall Naruto story, I am talking about the story and how Kishi tells his story, take away that the audience is children, with the way Kishi reconstructed characterization at the end to fit the need of whatever plot line he wanted E.G this is a story where 15 years of Naruto liking Sakura could be dismissed in one incoherent sentence about a rivalry which contradicts everything that came before it. in such a story a divorce in twenty years is not crazy and is in no way worse than anything he did before.

 

It would not be anything different or worse than what he's done before that was my point. It only seems worse because divorce is an adult theme.

It's worse because it's really uncalled for and "playing with the audience" is seem with bad eyes in Japan, for all I know. He can't do that "again". This time would be explicit.

 

People trying to who is better or worse then Naruto and Sakura in treatment and the actions they take  which I think its ridiculous but to each their own .

Ok, let me explain you something: I don't believe there is a real reason to hate on Sakura even with this ending. Ok, she fangirled, but that didn't destroy everything she accomplished. Ok, he married the guy who tried to kill her. And I don't like that, but...does that makes her a terrible person? No. The difference between both Sakura's and Hinata's fangirling is that... Sakura doesn't let the other people she cares about behind for this person. When 699 happened I thought that it made her look like she only used Naruto, but in the movie she's honestly worried about Naruto and healed him 3 days straight. 

She "made" a decision that is not the best for her development, her own good, but she didn't harm anyone else, unlike how other people are depicted.

In part 2 it's about sakura >>> naruto until sakura confession.

And then change his mind and the rest is history.

Pairing become canon in this manga if they have mutual feeling with each other.

All this discussion got me thinking, the hate for Naruto from my point of view is due to the fact that he was suppose to be a character who inspire people and shows that hard work do pay off also the fact that he is a great and loyal guy for his feelings and consideration for Sakura and Sasuke but the Last changed him completely that many feel betrayed and lied to :/ As for Sakura, people hate her because they can't look past the part 1 fangirl but those who did were inspired by how she grew and worked hard despite the fact she wasn't special, so it made her a role model but the ending destroyed that and the movie made her into nothing but a matchmaker who can't move on, that is what I feel that has people frustrated with these two characters. I hope people see this I wanna see what you guys think
