I believe I just said maybe two posts ago that I hated Naruto forgiving Sasuke, and I disliked forgiving Obito (even though I'm a Obito fan.) Had you asked me about the whole chasing after Sasuke thing, I would have straight up told you that it ruined the story for me. I hated the Sasuke obsession. The only thing, the only thing, that slightly redeemed that part of the story for me is the fact that I was under the impression that Naruto was fighting tooth and nail to bring back Sasuke because the girl Naruto loved was "in love" with Sasuke, and he wanted to see Sakura happy, so he was willing to sacrifice his feelings to do so. All of that "brothers" stuff was bullsh**. It doesn't matter what you call it, whether it's abandoning the village, or "leaving with permission", it still doesn't change the fact that she was willing to throw everything away for somebody who never cared about her. I hate the three pairings you mentioned as well, at least we can agree on that.
Are being depressed and giving up not one in the same in this circumstance? Did he not give up because he was depressed? Did I really need to state both? As for that long ass list of crimes that I wrote for Sasuke, and how I tried understood Naruto for forgiving him, I said absolutely no such thing. Once again, I hated that Sasuke was forgiven like nothing happened. What I did say is that I disliked Obito being forgiven, and I disliked the "coolest guy" comment, but I felt that I understood what was trying to be said. Obito. Not Sasuke.
As for the bold, have I not called Naruto trash on multiple occasions? Have I not said that he's a scumbag that got completely wrecked for Hinata's sake? I don't understand how I can say, and maintain, that Naruto and Sakura equally became trash, but yet somehow be pro-Naruto and anti-Sakura, when I've labeled both their characters as complete and utter garbage, and given them both equal weight by saying how trash they both became. Do I need to call Naruto an a**hole a couple more time in my posts or something?
Glad we agree on how bs the brother bs was.
Willing to throw away everything? Like what? Her friends? Whether she's traveling or not, Ino will still be her friend, Tsunade will still be her mentor, Kakashi will still be her teacher. Heck, even though Tsunade left the village for twenty years, people still respected her. In your opinion, do relationships just die when you travel? What if Sakura left the village to train the Suna medic nins for two years? Will her relationships with Ino or Tsunade fade then? Abandoning a village and her friends is you just creating a flaw about her that doesn't exist. The real disgrace Sakura did was following after a guy who tried killed her like a love sick puppy, NOT abandoning her important people or village.
Depressed is only a reason of why he abandoned Hinata and is not a depiction of the action Naruto did. It's like saying "Obito is bad because he was depressed over Rin" instead of saying "Obito was bad because he conducted mass-murder". Usually, I wouldn't mind you use that wording, however I find it a problem when you use actions to describe Sakura and compare them to Naruto by the reasons and in the same sentence. It's like saying, "Sasuke trying to kill his teammates is as equally as bad as Obito feeling sad about Rin's death". It might not be your intention, but it does look like you're trying to make Sakura look worse and Naruto look better.
Are you saying that they are equals in that they are trash? Or equals in what they did?
If it's the former I completely agree with you,
If it's the latter I don't agree. Because it's like saying Obito and Sasuke are equals in what they did. And if people say that a mass-murderer who killed millions are the same as murderer who killed 2, 3 people I think that is quite pro-Obito and anti-Sasuke because it's undermining Obito's crime and overstating Sasuke's crime to match each other. As trash as they both are, dragging one down to be on the same level with the other only benefits the other and it's unfair to the one who had to get dragged down. If you know what I mean?
