I did for the election for Rome's mayor a couple of years ago and it was bloody brutal, we had to be there Saturday afternoon and then Sunday morning at 6:30 am. We ended up leaving at 11:00 am on Monday, no pauses during the whole day and all night spent piling up the results piece by piece in 4 different books. Ah the lovable brand of purely psychopathic Italian bureaucracy!  (and then same thing again two weeks later for the second ballot).

Well allot of kitten was happening in here like Mayor Candidate Assassination, Mayor Candidate getting beat up, Mayor Candidates being blackmailed to resign their candidacy,  buying votes , post elections engineering, CIA , EU and USA getting involved etc you know those kind of things . It was the biggest voting heist in the history worldwide  .
