Mkes me wonder why Kishi even said that Madara was on the same power as Nappa in the first place?

Oh we all know Kishi loved the Uchiha the fact he made up a reason why they are kittens so readers could feel sorry for them is telling to me man I mean remember that he said Madara was at Nappa's power which I find funny as hell I mean come on we all know as weak as Nappa would be now he would simple one shot Madara.
 
It's just Kishi getting his hard on for the Uchiha that he loves this is shown a lot with Sasuke as well, oddly my friend Evil100 will be doing a crossover with Pan in the Naruto world along with her mother, now he said Pan is not a super Saiyan and Sasuke being the evil kitten he is almost kills Videl.
 
Think on how that will go, he said that Sasuke will just laugh at Pan which we all know what this will lead too and here is the Ironic thing Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto as well as many others have no idea about Super Saiyan, as the only ones who do know about it are Kakashi and Tsunade.
 
So in short Pan or super Saiyan Pan in fit of Saiyan rage, (She is Gohan Daughter after all) gose ape kitten on Sasuke, he losses an arm a leg and his left eye, Pan really kittens him up hell he said she is toying with like how Gohan did with Cell, as she says to Kakashi and Sakura. "No I want him to suffer some more."
 
What is funny is Naruto Rasengans her while she is not seeing him as she is mainly focused on making Sasuke suffer as much as she can, but Evil100 said all this does is piss Pan off.

That crossover sounds cool in another story he'll do an Omake series with an oc character named satsuki Oaken the half sister of sasuke and her daughter who is naruto's daughter going to dB world and befriending pan and bolt, himawari and hinata their for the tournament and pan nut punches bolt like 13 did to goku. I've been helping him with ideas for stories, until planning an until dawn story and hinata is going to be Emily the kitten of the group.

i found some interviews of kishimoto talking about how he was thinking about sakura being married to naruto instead of hinata and how hinata didn't do any better than sakura which was comforting to me because from reading them you get the sense he was planning narusaku then changed his mind at the end so i wanted to post them here

Here is a thing though, WEAKER versions of Superman in canon have done...incredible things that even now you might find impossible and a lot of these Supermen...no, that is not a typo...have powers that are exactly like Superman's or were given to them by Superman's ability to grants others his powers in his Golden Form.

So all of the "wanking" is not really "wanking" so much as they use an educated guess based on what other Supermen have done with only a fraction of his powers. We also know that if everything remains consistent.

Until, however, DC decides to do a comic book series based on Superman Prime there really nothing supporting or debunking the extent of Superman's real powers by this time. Imagine if they made a comic where Superman got so powerful that he actually gained all the abilities expressed above?

You know what, maybe I should do that. I am gonna make it my dream to write a canon comic about the most powerful Superman in existence and make it Golden Superman. How funny would your face be if you saw the interview and you say to me "See Ultranx? I told you he could do all that."

This is contrary to a belief that Goku can destroy the universe in three punches when he can;t even destroy a planet in 1.

Point still stands....Goku still is no match no matter how hard Goku fanboys want to fan wank it.
 

 

Let's use the planet destruction ability and apply it to Dragon Ball, if someone tells you that Goku a super power alien has the ability to destroy an entire planet and you don't know anything about Dragon Ball, it sounds like an amazing feat, doesn't?

I mean imagine the power it would take to destroy a planet. You would be amazed how powerful he is, but if you knew that it doesn't take that much power to destroy a planet to the point in which a human in that universe can do it, it wouldn't sound so great anymore, would it?

 

Not really since long before DBX even existed, characters from DC and Marvel have destroyed planets rather easily. So blowing up a planet in DBZ only helps gauge the characters themselves in their own universe is touches nothing on other universes. Also, what does it take to blow up a planet in DBZ? So far, the only way to successfully do it is to blow up the core and let the planet destabilize or I guess blow up the sun, but that would kill him.

How about punching a planet apart with your bare fists? So far in DBZ, characters have only destroyed planets by blowing up the core. I have not seen Goku blow up a planet with pure force.

Has Goku pulled an entire Solar System before effortlessly? Now THAT would be impressive. But you're right, blowing up a planet means nothing compared to what characters can actually do.

That's why, in the end, it's the characters themselves that matter, not their powers.
Superman is NOT MEANT to lose. That was the whole point. He is meant to focus on the hardships on real life problems. Not a muscle flexing contest. Superman is as strong or as weak as he needs to be for the plot to occur, but he always overcomes.
Goku on the other hand is meant to power struggle against powerful opponents and defeat himself. He will always be weaker than the opponent he is fighting and usually only comes out on top because of either PIS or because other characters come and help.

Same with Saitama...people ask this question all the time. The dude had no limit because the point of his character is to be the anti-thesis to the stereotypical superhero

The only time Superman and Saitama would ever really lose is if someone decided to be a kitten and play them as "the straight man," but this is just a writer trying to beat down another stereotype.

Remember, it is up to the writer to make these characters as strong and as weak as they want.

I both you, Ultranx and so many others forget that characters are bound by their stories.

If Superman wanted, and if the writer allowed it, alot of his opponents wouldn't even have a chance to fight back.

Flash is said to be the fastest man alive....yet how many times has he been beaten by slower opponents or outwitted or even being outpaced despite supposedly "seeing events occur at less than an attosecond?"

Comic characters are so inconsistent in their powers and feats which is one of the main reason I don't like western comics. At least in eastern comics, there is some consistency in their feats.

Jamewith won't saying superman is better just let him do his thing your free to say goku is better, hell I like both characters but I like superman more since I grew up with superman before goku and I'm starting to hate goku after learning how he was originally written.

Agreed sasuke is one of the biggest problem of the series. You focus 80%of your series on that prick and still is naruto is the main character cause he's not he is render useless in his own damn story cause everything has to be about the Uchiha. Uds at its best.

Just another plot hole, methinks.   I doubt "that jutsu" was a coded reference for Naruto's ability to access Kurama's Chakra since that isn't a technique or skill.

Sadly, Renamon lost. Another problem is that, in the pre-battle analysis, they mention how Renamon was able to tank much stronger attacks and yet in the post-battle analysis, they call her a glass cannon.

 

The funny thing is though, you got the ignorant chunk of the Pokemon fandom being really sore winners, bragging about how this "proves" Pokemon is "better" (and claiming the comments section of the video is "full of salty Digimon fanboys" when there isn' ) and yet completely ignore the fact that Lucario was still a strong, fully (naturally) evolved Pokemon with full access to its power and abilities while Renamon was still just a Child / Rookie level Digimon (albeit stronger than average) who was restricted in her full power and abilities and yet the battle was still very close, with Lucario only having a couple advantages that allowed him to barely edge out over Renamon, which only further illustrates what was talked about with Red & Charizard vs. Tai & Agumon - Digimon's power scaling and escalation is massively higher than Pokemon's and it shows that it will very quickly require much stronger Pokemon species just to beat weaker and/or average Digimon species (in level and/or power). Sadly, that portion of the Pokemon fandom don't care about the details just as long as Pokemon "wins", even if the "win" is without any pride or dignity.

DEATH BATTLE! could pit Arceus, Mega Rayquaza, Mega Mewtwo X / Y, Primal Groudon / Kyogre, or some other high tier legendary Pokemon against a Botamon or some other normal Baby I / Fresh level Digimon and that chunk of the Pokemon fandom would treat it like it's some amazing feat of power and further "proof" that Pokemon is "better".

The sad part is that this is actually spot on. And frankly, I don't think someone needs to be the hokage if they're willing to throw away common sense and decency all for the sake of appeasing one friend to the point that he isn't even allowed to give him a good tongue lashing.

That's one of the points I keep bringing up when it comes to why Naruto wasn't mentally prepared to be a good Kage - when it comes to those (he believes are) close to him and/or to those he believes can "change", he is usually willing to bend the rules and make exceptions for them. A Kage is not supposed to show favoritism, even to their own family (as demonstrated even by Minato), and is supposed to put the well-being of the entire village above all else, and if Naruto were to (constantly) show mercy to even the worst criminals on the HOPE that they will "change", the victims of those criminals and the civilian population at large (and most likely a number of shinobi) would (eventually) call him out on it, which would weaken his political position (not that Naruto would really know or care about the politics even though he should) and leave him easy prey for other, more political savvy people to push him out and take over.

The way the shinobi world was first established is the type of world where blind, naive idealism just doesn't work (at least not without enormous plot armor and such), and another problem is that it's been tried numerous times before, from Hagaromo himself, to Ashura, to Hashirama, to Hiruzen, Jiraiya, and Minato themselves; all of them had dreams and ideals of wanting "true peace" and for people to "understand" each other and yet they all (at least from Hashirama on down) eventually had to put those ideals aside from the thing called reality came kicking the door in. Yet, when Jiraiya tries to explain the reality to Naruto when it came to Sasuke, what did Naruto say? "I'm fine with being stupid!"
 

 

Kishi has a real hard-on for the uchihas which basically ruined the whole entire story since everything after the pain arc revolved in one way or the other around Uchihas.

Every one of the Uchihas got stupidly overpowered and nonsense power-ups while all others were left in the dirt. 

You know, after all these years I still find it hard to understand how an eye that was merely used to improve perception and copy moves evolved into something that can shoot out Unquenchable flames, giant constructs and alter frickin reality itself. 

I was fine with up to the Mangekyo Sharingan since at least there was an established, and costly, downside to its usage by the user eventually going blind (even though Sasuke was magically able to spam its usage at the Kage Summit and such despite just awakening it and no longer having the Curse Seal to draw out more chakra like before; and the Mangekyo appears to use A LOT more chakra than anything Sasuke had done up to that point) while even Izanagi, as overpowered a move as it appeared, also had the huge downside of literally cutting off use of the eye that cast it permanently, so it was a one-use move without multiple Sharingan at your disposal, like Danzo and Obito had.

So while they may have been very powerful, they still had limitations and downsides to that power.

But then there was the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan to conveniently overcome most of those downsides, Izanami, becoming the Rinnegan if you get Senju DNA, and so on...

Yeah, the established "rules" of each one pretty much show it all.

Goku may have unlimited potential, but he still has limitations in working his way up through his potential.

Superman, however, not only has unlimited potential, but no real limitations to speak of in reaching that potential.

It's like...if Goku and Superman were runners - they would both be extremely fast and able to go for a long time, but Goku would eventually need to stop, catch his breath, and take some swigs of water before being able to continue (training to overcome his wall and becoming stronger). Superman, however, would never have to do such a thing and so would always be pulling ahead of Goku more and more the longer the running went on.

Just another plot hole...like Sasuke's - or Itachi's, forget which one - mention of the Sharingan being connected to Kurama's chakra during their fight (something like, when it came to the Mangekyo Sharingan and its blindness side effect, "the result of using the Kyubi's chakra"), and so on.

Variant Comics is wrong and has been wrong before on a multitude of things, so I quit watching them.

 

Just because I don't read the Superman comics doesn't mean I won't search the entire internet for the actual panels and see for real if you guys are correct about something or not, I'm not like other people, I get fully into a debate and search every source on the internet before I decide on my belief, its why I hate death battle.

I'm one of the few people that doesn't mind getting spoilers about something before it comes out, I welcome spoilers because it helps me decide if something is a waste of money.

That guy reminded me of Screwattack with their stupid Death Battle series where they cherry pick what they want and disregard everything else for whatever character they like, then they make their video which almost always is wrong, and only sometimes they get it right but for the wrong reasons.

Screwattacks entire tactic is to get people pissed and talk about their worthless series.

So Ria and I were rewatching Kiki's Delivery Service and man it holds up such a beautiful story just like Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, etc from the legendary Hiyao Mizaki.  

 

 

Somwhere in the midsts of our conversation, Ria asked Could you imagine if Naruto was done by Hiyao Miazaki?

 

and I said It would most likely be a lot better from beginning to end unlike what the story we got. That includes the pairings as well.
