Going by "canon" Naruto is a fake, petty punk ass POS who USED Sakura and purposely tried to jack her romantic aspirations all to hell. Not to mention he's an idiot who can't tell the difference between romantic love and the love one feels for objects or concepts

I mean, yeah. But it seems like we pick and choose when we accept stuff past 698 and when we don't. Especially considering how drastically Naruto is changed.

Our fandom is not the only one who dislikes Salada's appearance. When I went to JamesCassidy's thread, Win-chan posted this hilarious post :

Here was somebody's reaction. At first, they seemed like they were super pro-NH and SS, but then they posted this to me:

 

Agree we do have our differences of interpreting this manga. But still , Kishi seriously should have had someone on his team to cover the romance aspect of the Manga. Then maybe there would have been less confusion to your fandom and other Naruto fans. It sucked horribly. But again, Naruto the manga was never intended to be solely about romance, it was never a romance novel it was mostly about bringing a lost friend back, and action/adventure. Still what little romance there was between characters, should have been taken care of on the side, instead of being forced into the story. It's not your fault, it's not mine, it's the bad decisions of the staff of Kishimoto and Kishimoto himself who admitted early on he was TERRIBLE at romance! This is why we are getting a movie with romance writers were hired by Kishi to do this Last movie which ties into the manga. I am very disappointed with how Sasuke's and Sakura's daughter was designed, why does she have to look like her father need glasses when she is an UCHIHA!!! DAMN IT!!! I really wished she was prettier, no glasses, maybe have Sasuke's eyes but look more like her mother than her own dad. Not saying Sasuke is ugly or anything, or at least have her hair be black like her father's and have green eyes. Come on, Kishi!!! WTF is up with her glasses? She doesn't need them!!! I think they make her look ugly although other people say she is cute wearing them.  I don't. Her design should have been done  MUCH better, I personally think it was rushed like the ending to the manga, and was really lazy. Very disappointed!!!!! It is sad, that when fanart of Sasuke's and Sakura's kids are prettier than what the author made, it is sad to have Sakura's mother look like an ugly man dressed in drag and call that person Sakura's mother, and Sakura's father, his  pink hair sucks. I'd rather believe Sakura's parents look more pretty like the fanart I've seen of them on here. They are prettier, and flawless. And I'm a person who doesn't really like Sakura's character to begin with. So that is saying something!  Naruto's and Hinata's kids are cute, but I hope Hinata's daughter isn't a carbon copy of Hinata's personality like how Bolt is with Naruto.

If we talk about when kitten still seemed to make some sense, we talk about the stuff before the bomb dropped. That's just how this goes.

Well, that's because that's what Japan is feeling right now. it's true what terrorking said, which I can't rep because of limits, it's rather sad that we thought Sakura got assasinsted badly, which she still did, but Naruto got the worst and pretty assasinated the story with it. Story got damaged so bad that it was on life support (sorry for this analogy), but the movie did it.

Amazing how hero/heroine got killed by anti/side. Who would have thought.

A good point that's getting lost at times. Everything after 698 is such a departure for so many characters. The Last even more. But it's not just Naruto that's ruined.

No it's not only Naruto that's been ruined. Sakura is a housewife, Ino seems unhappy with her child, Temari seems unhappy with her marriage, Tenten's shop is unsuccesful, The five kage are all unhappy because of Onoki etc. Everyone seems unhappy.

 

And let's not forget Neji, who was was killed off for the sole purpose of bringing Naruto and Hinata closer together.  

 

I know. And it's a shame. I would think this would be a place where we can treat him a little kinder, though, acknowledging who is responsible for the character assassination.

 

I think it's about acknowledging that the fault doesn't lie solely with one character. It's not just Naruto's fault and it's not just Sakura's fault either. 

 

But yeah, the realy culprits are Kishi and SP.

She does have Sakura's pretty eyes, but I'm not a fan of the glasses tbh.
 

I don't really get why some says that Salad has Sakura's eyes. She doesn't. Sakura has green eyes, Salad has black eyes. Heck, even her eyes doesn't has Sakuras's eye shapes. The vegetables eyes..... um i mean Salad has sharp eye lines and the eyes a drawn just likes the agnostic's eyes, like the Uchihas or Karin. Sakura on the other side has big and soft shapes eye lines. So no, how much i try, i can't see that Salad has "Sakura's beautiful eyes"
