Hi...Sorry to butt in!(I'm kind of nervous about asking this)
So um, I was debating with this NaruHina fan on this forum:

Can someone tell me if I am being biased and hypocritical? So far I've had three NaruHina fans call me that(one of them negged me doing so) and I don't know why(other than not providing enough chapters apparently).
First though I should say I am NOT asking people to come and help me debate(tho if you want to go for it. I'm pretty much done as that 'evidence' that Naruto doesn't love Sakura anymore was pretty much the last straw for me). I just want to know if I'm arguing right. I actually haven't done pairing debates in a loooong time.
Second although he looks like it, PrinceofPeace is not a troll. He legit believes everything he is saying.
Third, if it isn't obvious I'm Lari18.
I would really like other opinions on what I'm doing...thanks

I haven't read most of the arguments, mainly because I'll know I'l just get frustrated. But of what I have glanced over, it seems to be a much more.......calmed debate than the one on the NF. Ironically though, I feel like in the NF the pro-narusaku arguments are completely kicking the opposing argument's a$$, though in this debate thread it seems like the pro-naruhina arguments are winning. But that's mostly because of the passionate arguments coming from PrinceofPeace, he/she comes up with large posts and he/she doesn't seem to resort in name calling (though that's only what I've come up with the few posts that I actually bother to read). Though, likewise, I think the reason why the pro-narusaku arguments seem so dominate in the NF thread (despite the Anti-NS resistance) is because there seem to be more people arguing for our side (not necessary NS fans).
Now, don't get me wrong, in both threads there are flaw logic in their arguments. In both, they resort in trying to convince the opposing side that Naruto isn't in love with Sakura anymore, despite little proof of that actually being true. In the NF debate, that was their main argument, and it was a
stupid argument, because the manga never said he moved on from Sakura, and if he did it would have been shown on panel and would've been a big deal. Also, the anime, the Rock Lee SD show, and Kishi's OWN FREAKING MOVIE contradicts this claim by clearly showing Naruto still having a crush on Sakura. It's dumb argument with no manga fact, with outside media showing the opposite.
But at least in this debate thread it didn't frustrate me as much as the NF debate, mainly because I actually like PrinceofPeace's passion. Even though he/she is arguing on the opposite end of our side, he is still a Naruto fan. The fact that he/she would write so much about a dumb topic of an anime show/manga series just shows that he/she loves the series, just like the rest of us. Some of his/her arguments are flawed, like having the predictable plot line of having Tobi turn out to Obito into Naruhina's favor by saying that Hinata always had a crush on Naruto since the beginning, thus the series was always intended to go to the Naruhina direction since the beginning, because Hinata's crush was established early in the series. The flaw in that argument (and I hope someone post this up too on the site) is that Naruto's crush on Sakura was also establish early in the series, in fact, manga wise, BEFORE Hinata was even introduce. Also, having the main hero get with the main heroin (whom both have shown hints of liking each other beyond friendship) is kind of a little bit more predictable.
But if these arguments don't win people over (and if they haven't for past few years, than I doubt it would), and they start saying your bias and hypocritical than 1) they either ran out of arguments, and are just calling you names now, or 2) you are being bias and hypocritical. Don't worry though, if a Naruhina fan is calling you bias, than just call out that fan and she they are also bias. Most of us are bias, and thus it shouldn't really make our arguments mean any less. That's unless we make arguments that are hypocritical, where we are just blinded by our bias and make arguments that contradict with previous arguments we made.*
But if you do find yourself being hypocritical, then just stop debating for awhile. Though, seeing how you were called being hypocritical and bias from NH fans does make that statement seem a little bit..............suspicious.
Though, then again, that is probably the same thing that Naruhina fans say to themselves when they are called bias and hypocritical from a Narusaku fan...................
*I have theory, though, that many fans call each other hypocritical because different fandoms have a double standard. Naruhina fans usually prefer Naruto to be with Hinata, thus they place Hinata on much higher standard. While Narusaku fans generally try to make things even on both sides, we mostly argue that Naruto should get what he wants. But, the thing is, NARUTO IS THE MAIN CHARACTER, so we are suppose to place him on a higher standard. That's why NH/SS fans keep making that claim that Naruto doesn't love Sakura anymore, because if he still does, then Narusaku will have an even BETTER chance of happening on simple grounds that NARUTO IS THE MAIN CHARACTER AND STORY REVOLVES AROUND HIM AND HIM ACHIEVING THINGS.
