Well, that's hard to really say that but I am wondering the lasting effect.I heard the firs screen in America was no sold out on its premier like TL was. Can someone confirm this?

Not really a trustworthy site, but IMDB gave Boruto The Movie a 9/10.

IMDB can only be trusted with well known movies/TV shows.

Whelp nothing on box office mojo yet on it sales since it was a limited release. Like I said when i was checking the eleven arts site when the last was coming out if It had a line through a showing it meant it was sold out. It hasn't happen with the showings for Bolt the movie which means unless they changed that practice in the last few months for some reason. So as far as I can tell none of the showing were sold out.
Edit: But that doesn't mean people aren't seeing it which is why I want to see what box office mojo says about it sales.

That was really stupid. It was so lazy. Considering that they resurrected Frieza using the dragon balls from earth they could've used the second wish to make him stronger thus at least having an explanation that at least makes some sense.
Not oh Frieza was born with a lot of power, he just never showed that power because he never trained.
Yup that AND he surpassed SSG Super Saiyan in a measely 4 months. an explanation SO nonsensical and with little to no basis. the only premise for it was Frieza is a insanely popular villain and they wanted him back for another appearance, AND to be a challenge for Goku. So they needed to resort to yet another illy thought out plothole

so stupid. i'll always love the saiyan saga and history of trunks. at least in future trunks' timeline, there was always ONE super saiyan.
goku, then he died
vegeta, then he died
gohan, then he died
then it was trunks.

That is truye but what we have to remember is that DBZ was never meant to be big on big plot like stort lines and all that its just fighting that's all it meant to be really, I mean many hope for Super for Pan to become a super Saiyan at least that is what I hope I mean first ever female super Saiyan would be kick ass to me.
and we also need to remember Aki is 60 now that is old.
And while maybe having Cell back would make sense lets face it Gohan has become very weak as well which is sad but not sure why they made Gohan weak as I have heard a lot like fans liking Goku more or something along the lines, this is why I hope that they make Pan a super Saiyan as she would be the first canon female Saiyan.

One according to 4life that showing was free so doesn't count into profits it makes in the States.(at least what will be shown on box office mojo. They might have been paid to show the movie at comic con but i don't know)
Two it was at a big well known event so of course people were going to go see it especially since it was free.
Three I'm going off the eleven arts' site which is the distributor for it US release.And from comparing it with the Last distribution as far as i can tell none of the paid showing are sold out. They could be pack to the brim for all i know but they are not sold out.
Four most of the showing i see on that at happen on either October 10 or October 17. So those two weekends really decide who much profit the movie makes in the states.

Oh Don't get me wrong I still love Dragon Ball, it's just that there are some flaws that I'm pointing out, and not for the sake of degrading the series but to use my brain. So if I sounded a bit like a prude I apologize. What I mean is of course they need to make reason for Frieza to match goku as he is now. but since there is no valid premise for it they decided just to stick with one of the main themes of the story and say Frieza never trained a day in his life. Not a VERY good reason but hey they are not betraying the concept of the story at least.
