That's just sad. It seems like people on 2chan support SS than Naruto with any other woman. Do they ever remember how Sasuke treated Sakura in the manga period. That is quite a shocker.

I know right  Sasuke was the ultimate scumbag by the way he treated her its still worse then what they made Naruto do  and somehow its ok bc its him and he doesn't get screen time  I thought they were more objective then that   its a shame.

 

Idk, people hate Boruto but is okay with Salad. Maybe because NH is hated and SS is popular? I also don't understand since I think Boruto's character is better than Salad. It also might have something to do with him being the kid of two very hated characters. Naruto has more hate threads than Sakura and Sasuke combined. Hinata has the most though. So being the child of the hated "ugly" couple makes Boruto automatically hated. Whereas Salad is thought of as a victim that will be brought down by SP because they can't have her outshine Boruto, or her "beautiful" parents out shining Boruto's "ugly" parents.

 Well, they supported Sasuke's friendship with Naruto. SS really isn't much different unless you're a SN fan.

Some might. Just to see Sasuke. He's the fan favorite, if not all, a portion of his fans might watch it. But many people are also saying that they don't to be tricked again into watching a movie with lots of Sasuke advertisement because they know SP hates Sasuke and they think he'll be used as a stick to glorify Naruto and Boruto while he himself is being disgraced.

 

First of all, the only thing western NH fans will most likely pirate everything. The only way Kishi and SP is going to make money is the two movies (The Last is expected to be in theaters in the US next month) and merchandise. How the heck is Kishi's mini manga going make profit to the west when everything thing needs to be translated and booked? That takes time and especially the translated pirated chapters will already be out on MP and MS by that time it happens. They are really gambling big time, especially with all the retconing is about to happen.

 

Ok that makes much more sense. SS is platonic to the general fans.

 

I think they should no go see it and watch it, just wait for the pirate version on DVD some where in 2016. That's what I would do because I'm a Sasuke fan too.

The ones liking SS are the fans. The non-pairing fans are okay with it.
Why are ppl okay with Naruto's relationship with Sasuke? Or his relationship with Gaara? Or his instant praising of Obito?

It's difficult to imagine how anyone could support Kishi and Pierrot at this point. Even segments of the NH fandom have realised just how much of a farce their OTP has become with the narrative and character butchery seen in The Last.

 

Is it possible that Junko may not be part of the next film or the spin-off? I know you mentioned that there's too many comments on 2chan to sort through, but surely there must have been some headline on the forums regarding her, considering her recent actions like shutting Kishi up at JF and her less than enthusiastic expression when promoting the film in a photo.

Team Seven to me are a bunch of liars who are all talk and no action. Who accomplished their goals? No one.
Neji overcame his hatred and protected and cared for Hinata, the daughter of the Main Family who never really appreciated him nor did anything to relieve his pain. He changed the Hyuuga clan into a house where the Main Family and the Branch family fight to protect each other. He should teach team seven what it is to be a hero.

I actually dislike NH much much much more than SS. I'm kinda neutral about it. My main problem is how poisonous they are for each other, and how badly Kishi developed their 'relationship'.

I too am angry about how they treated team 7, like it or not, Sasuke and Sakura were the two other most important characters and they've been put together not for any logical reason but to have Puttanata have her wish. But they've been 'put in the back' because they were too important and would tarnish the poor Boob's shining moment.

I'm pretty angry at the treatment they had. I firmly believe they were put together in order to be out of the Boob's way, so I can't really hate them for that. But it's also true that the only character I hate is Hinata so...

I understand what you mean. But the thing here is NH destroyed a whole manga of 15 years while SS didn't. That's the huge difference. People don't care about pairings but they will be furious if the manga they read for all their life has been destroyed by a pairing they never cared in the first place. That's why people call NH "the death god couple" because their existence kittens on everything else that isn't them.

Naruto is called a scumbag because he defied everything his character stood for. Whether he acted like a saint at times, people wouldn't care. It's all about what a character stands for and is expected of. People are mad because they expected so much more from the main character only to be betrayed at the very last minute. Fortunately for Sasuke, he didn't have enough screen time for SP to destroy his character. In fact, people are feeling more sympathetic to him due to how SP handles him.

The biggest difference of Hinata and Sasuke are that people view Sasuke as the main character, while Hinata is a side character. I agree. Sasuke did steal the story. But Sasuke, again, is the most popular character. So for people, this story is as much of Sasuke's story as much of Naruto's. So, if the story is altered to fit Sasuke, people don't mind because he's the main character and the story is supposed to revolve around him AND Naruto. However, the case with Hinata is different because she's a side character and not only did she CHANGE the canon story she KILLED the main characters. Naruto turned into a "scumbag", Sakura & Sasuke became a "victim of SP's handling" BECAUSE of a side character people hated with very few relevance to the actual plot. Hence, ppl view Hinata's crime>>>>>>>>>>Sasuke's crime.

I would've agreed with you if it weren't for the movie. Chapter 699 and Chapter 700 was created as a prologue of the movie. If Kishi cared for SS fans more than NH fans why did he make a conscious effort showing Sasuke berating Sakura in the previous chapters? Why wasn't the movie focused on SS?

Tell you the truth, I don't think all the staff members are on the same page and against the NH idea. there is the lady (I forgot her name) did all the NS filler arcs and written the RTN movie. We will never know, but I was hoping that lady can take over the head chief of staff for the Naruto anime before time expires on the series and repair the damage. Although, it will not garantee all the fandoms and most ex-Naruto fans to come back to the series, but at least it have a better ending. And no scumbag Naruto.

because this movie had to be about only NH since the MC is Hinata Naruto. If he put also their (SS) scenes then, even just a little, he would have obscured totally the main theme which is the love story between NH. Anyway, I didn't say that he cared more about SS than NH, but he did a such choice because SS is the greatest hetero fandom in japan. In a short, he cared about popularity, not about the quality and his own preference for the couple. Just a mere question of money. Besides he said that he will focus on SS too in the next movie and in the mini serie about Bolt. You know that has not kittening sense if Hinata is really more popular than Sakura.

I never said that SS is the main couple xD. But just it's the greatest hetero fandom in japn numerically. And, by making SS official in the epilogue, he did put them out of the radar in order so to competely focus on NH. I know that putting the decoy in the epilogue and then not show any hints about SS in the movie was a bad marketing move lol. But Kishi always showed that he doesn't able to deal with SS stuff..

Hinata is nowhere near as popular as Sasuke and she is hated a lot more though. That description of Hinata being popular applies only to the West.

Naruto surely is a victim, but ppl don't see it that way when he has a lot of screen time over other fan favorites.

I agree with the Sasuke part. I HATE the ending to Sasuke's character. That was it? In five chapters, he suddenly declares war, tries a massacre then realizes he cares for team seven and go on a trip to atone his sins with a single, "Yeah, sorry." What happened to the Sasuke who wouldn't give up on his dream? What happened to the efficient cold-hearted Sasuke who wouldn't care about honor as long as he gained what we wanted? I almost expected him to sharingan and copy Orochimaru's Kuchiyose, summon Kushina, Jiraiya, and Neji, weaken Naruto and go for the kill. Instead Sasuke turned out to be a huge disappointment who would go back on his words in less than an hour and not even put the effort he could. Gaara and Orochimaru were way better antagonists than Sasuke could ever be.

Geez, I became a team seven hater after the movie.

How did SS didn't also destroyed it  when they go hand in hand with NH ? Here is were I disagree with this view  Sasuke maybe also a MC and the story revolve around him  but he's not the MC  the one this story is about   its not about  Sasuke working and achieving his dreams    the tittle is Naruto   , saying its ok bc he's also a MC  and more popular   its the same thing Hinata was chosen to be the New Heroine by Kishi   that was his freaking reason . So how is SS  becoming canon is ok when it goes against every single theme that was presented in this manga  ? Its abomination and in the end Sasuke turns as a Hero free of everything and gets the girl that Naruto loved  SS also played its part into this destruction . I understand what Hinata did  and ruined everything completely  but this movie wasn't the only thing   the ending of the manga itself 699/700  did that at the start just not on the degree the movie did  which is more severe .  I just can't see that as justification  bc its wrong  for the same reasons of Hinata "popularity"  did all of this  and its not Just SP but Kishimoto himself  also his sexist comments should be more then enough  for people to see why SS also has a part of this kitten and is no different then NH when SS destroyed Sakura and Sasuke .   Naruto is also a victim of this  kitten the biggest victim of them all  but he doesn't get the same treatment  bc of having more screen  bc of Hinata/NH  and I think its poor reasoning  .
