Do you see this kinda stuff happening with Boruto with his parents, or with Sarada and her parents..? NO No and No you don't. This right here is geniune storytelling and great characterization.. not to mention the ending of this issue made me go like "OH HELL NO IT'S COMING BACK!!" unlike the latest Boruto Chapter were I was like "meh" that's the thing this latest issue like the other issue continues to be engaging which like many of us have stated the Boruto series has been severely lacking.

Agreed James agreed, I haven't watch super yet but I'll say it's better than naruto cause it's giving time to use the side characters more where naruto did none of that outside shikamaru, Garra and neji an Lee.
James anime and comics are ridiculous the ideas of these stories are ridiculous like linkara says about superhero comics.
I think alot of superman haters forgot his character and what it stands for they just look at the powers. To me superman is better than Goku and it's not because of childhood memories of both but in their characters.
Naruto is a walking plot hole and contradiction of morals. The powers where dumb expect Sakuras seal cause that had more build up to it since we knew she'd get from training with tsunade what's naruto and sasuke's excuse mainly sasuke.

Well of course the concept is ridiculous, but I am talking more of the ridiculousness of betraying the source to better the plot.

Like, making Superman weak and stupid just because they want Batman to win.

This idea that to go against something just to make another stupid plot point or drama is what I find the most ridiculous out of all of it. Everything else is fine, but when you just go against everything the character was originally meant to be and change it up because they think "it is a clever writing," then I have to say that they are going beyond the ridiculous that the comic and anime already is.

Just look at what Marvel is doing to make Hydra Captain America and ask yourself...how far is too far?

 

To be far James Dragonball as always meant to be ridiculous and well out there I mean a talking piece of poo yeah that happened, true like all manga it has dark moments but toriyama has said that it not meant to be like Superman to which he is a big fan but as he said Goku is who he is, and toriyama likes to do gag manga just look at some of his other work like Dr slump its crazy and makes no kittening sense at all.

Right, but while Toriyama is just having fun with it, it is the fans that have taken it to the extreme by thinking "Goku is the best ever and can beat anyone no matter what." They are as bad as Batman fans or maybe even worse.

And maybe that is the hint. The fans are ruining the series for me because they over hype it. Especially when you have the new SSJGSS mode or whatever...and then Krillian comes alone, trains for like 2 months, and then all of a sudden can keep up with Goku despite Goku saying "I am at full strength and not holding back."

Toriyama does what he does and I respect him for it, but I think the fans need to chill on it.

And it is these fans who are starting to influence some manga writers to change the story altogether to better suit what they think should be happening.

First it was Naruto and we all admit that the NH fans influenced the story greatly just for their pairing, but how many more manga and anime is this gonna happen to? How many more stories will this occur to?

And that is what I mean by "ridiculous." No matter what story you write, there are still limits to what is acceptable and what isn't.

For Naruto, it is this ridiculous emphasis on pairings and forcing character suicide just to appease a fanbase.
For Superman, it is making him weaker than Batman or an other character just so Batman/other character can compete.
For Captain America, it is making him a Nazi/Hydra agent. Along with Magneto and several other character who are OPPOSED to organizations like this.

That is the kind of ridiculousness I am taking about.

I am fearful of Dragonball with this. Of course, I always have since the Buu saga, but whatever. I can accept Planet busters and I can accept even Solar system busters, or even Galaxy busters. but when you start going into claiming or saying "Universe busting," then it is hard to imagine this.

Worse still when they don't even realize how Universe busting was something Superman himself has done so many times.

Could you imainge both Naruto and Sakura fighting a villain or a group of villains and looking badass with Sasuke with Shinachiku talking to Maybe Sasuke's kid or someone else.

Also, I hate when people tell me that too. "You're just a child you wouldn't understand." Whether I am 9 or 90. Some people still think they know better when they don't.

Ya betraying your own series is bad.
Clever writing can be done good if you know what you're doing and if it fits into the story.
Too far Ya hydra cap is to far.
The only excuse batman fans give cause he's batman and call kitten on that.
I'dlike to see Naruto and Sakura do that with shina it'd be awesome only have sasuke be dead but keep sarada alive.

I don't know why they keep thinking they can beat Superman. Evil Superman once took out the entire green lantern corp by himself including one of the guardians.

Sometimes I believe they make up these ridiculous claims in an attempt to make Goku or anybody in the DBZ cast appear to be in Superman's league because they know deep down that Superman would solostomp the entire DBZverse at the same time with ease.

 

Ganthet, the Guardian that Superman curbstomped, would point at Naruto or anyone in the Naruto and the DBZverse at the same time and kill them instantly. As you said, Superman took on the entire Green Lantern Corp plus Ganthet and solostomped them with relative ease. They don't stand a chance against Supes.

 

Here's something that will make you laugh, people think Beerus can beat Superman-Prime, let alone Silver Age Superman.

 

Which evil superman the injustice one cause I think that happened where he was a yellow lantern.

Yes he had a Yellow Lantern Ring, however he took one of Ganthet's best attacks with his invulnerability and it didn't even phase him. Superman would stomp Ganthet even worse without the ring. Any version of Superman after COIE has mental limiters. But any version of Superman that absorbs the yellow sun everyday has unlimited power at their disposal. Something the fanboys seem to want to ignore. Golden Age Superman is a perfect example, he started off as a being that couldn't fly, could only tank handgun fire, and could only lift under 100 tons, but as he absorbed more sunlight, he became stronger to the point that he was able to travel back in time, tank atomic bombs with ease, and blow planets with his breath.

 

They say that mainly cause when Beerus and Goku were crossing fists in Battle of the Gods, King Kai or someone else was saying that their mere punches were being felt across the universe.

 

I hate Beerus the most lol. I can name 10 people that would kill Beerus in a blink of an eye. Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Martian Manhunter, Captain Marvel, Black Adam all come to mind.

 

Except, they also said it was a freak accident that happens only rarely. Since then, those "shock waves" weren't felt anymore and the Earth was still standing despite being at the epi-center of it all.

This is why I am having a hard time liking Dragonball Super and the like....it is way too inconsistent and the fans are ruining it by believing in things that are not true. Sure, it is  a great anime for action and a good enjoyable ride, but I cant take it seriously anymore.

Honestly, despite One Punch Man being a satire, I take that anime more serious than an anime that tries too hard to be serious and only ends up being too ridiculous even for it self.

This is why I hate these "Goku vs Superman" arguments now. They always want to say Goku wins because they think Superman is too ridiculous, but honestly, Superman is not about the powers, but rather about being that hero he needs to be.

To take this back to topic, Dragonball Super is suffering from what Naruto suffered from. It is too ridiculous, the powers are coming out of nowhere, and it is no longer remaining consistent to the point of breaking it's own rules. The only saving and satisfying grace is that Dragonball was always a little over the top, so I am more leniant towards Dragonball Super than I was Naruto.

Superman was meant to be the hero who always did the right thing and struggled with moral standings. This is why it is easy to say "Superman having unlimited power" is okay because it is not about power struggles.

Dragonball was always about breaking your limits and achieving higher peaks in your life. So, I am lenient to some over the top powers. However, not everything is okay because when you betray the initial idea of it, you begin to be ridiculous.

Naruto is all kinds of "missed and betrayed ideologies." And we know especially towards the end. When have a power up or stupid drama just betrayed the downright concept of Naruto...then it gets so ridiculous that I cant stand it.

And OPM make fun of all of this which is why it is probably the best.

Superman struggles all the time, they claim that Superman doesn't work for his powers. But ignore the fact that he doesn't start off all that powerful, he gets more powerful the more he fights as well. Take his fight with Ultraman for example, not only was Superman superior to him in every way, but he said that him fighting everyday is one of the reasons he Ultraman couldn't stop him. Superman gets more powerful everyday from the sun yes, but he also has his mental limiters that he has to break as well.

yeah, I hate that kitten. I hate when they make Superman weaker at the expense of an more better story. Technically, since Superman grows stronger under the sun, his invulnerability should be growing as well as his other powers. But he gets hurt by kitten he should never be getting hurt by. Superman literally took Keplar's Supernova to his face while weakened by red sun energy and took a blast from VoidHound, who could destroy 10 solar systems in one blast and took a blast that would destroy half an galaxy. He also pushed Earth, the moon, and a giant spaceship at the same time. With these feats he can't be matched lol. But for the sake of the story they have to forget how invulnerable he is while growing under the sun and make him weaker at the expense of other characters.

The ending of Naruto is why I happily appreciate Black Clover as a manga,  because it incorporates everything good that appealed to fans of Naruto and left out the garbage that came about because of meddling from editors and SP.  It's like Yuuki Tabata wrote the series as an apology to the disappointed Naruto fans and a subtle backhand to Kishimoto.   Asta, for instance, isn't a reincarnated starchild or the next Jesus that is preordained to bring peace to he world and change the current system(which ironically, Naruto has utterly failed at doing, so I guess you can make the argument that he still defies fate, to the misfortune of all).Like Naruto (before Kishi kittened with his origins), he is treated as a misbegotten orphan who works hard to acquire his own strength to compensate for his lack of power and talent so that he can accomplish his dreams.  The reason why I believe the author wrote Asta as a spite towards Kishimoto's decisions in the case of Naruto's character is that it made repeatedly clear that Asta is nothing extraordinary.  Whenever it's hinted that he might be special in some fashion, it's a red herring and made clear that Asta achieves results through his own merits.

 

Add to the fact that while his rival seems Sasuke-esque at first glance, but in actuality is a kind and noble person who regards him with respect and treats him like a brother (unlike Naruto's mosty one-sided and positively toxic relationship with Sasuke) and that the main heroine/love interest is very Sakura-like in personality and is keeping pace with the main character, and it can be inferred what the author is going for.

Its why I don't get involved with who is the best and all that I look at who they are and just enjoy the stories they are in after all that's what Books games and films are for to just sit back and have fun, and that is what I do James just have fun with what I am doing and not try to debate things from other shows.

 

Who know but sadly crazy fans are everwhere james not just DB but so many other media as well from games shows and books they think they all know better, hell a saw one comment on the new Sun and moon episode of pokemon which Lana the blue hair girls twi siblings thought she was Ash boyfriend and the Serena fans, not all went ape kitten over it. With one saying. "That blue kitten Lana is not Ash boyfriend Serena is Ash boyfriend." It just that crazy man no matter where you go you will find many crazy fans its the internet sadly, are all bad. No its just that like with NH fans their are more vocal, and they also have no life other than looking over many comments to see if someone dares up set the mind set they they have.

 

Toriyama has always done what he has wanted I mean like I said if he did Naruto would it be just a little crazy, Yes but if the editors and NH fans kept on bugging him on Hinata I can say for sure that Toriyama would have killed Hinata off, one thing that Toriyama hates are girls like Hinata, while liking the more tomboy like girls like Sakura Videl and Bulma.

 

We don't know all we can do is pray that other writers will learn from how bad Naruto messed up, we may never know as other writer know how to shut up unlike Kishi, I mean really James I think Kishi just likes to hear himself talk on how great he is. Or something I don't know all I can say is Kishi is a kitten up.

I so agree none of the Z fighters are Universe busting its just crazy fans over thinking it the only one I think and this is just a guess is Zeno no one else.

 

With Superman only Darkside as killed him or was it Doomsday, been a while soon I read that comic and my dumb ass brother lost it forever, I know that he has died that is for sure, its why I am asking you know more on super man than me James, which one was it that killed him.

 

Also something else I would like to ask, why is it that you wanted Pain to kill Hinata, I mean it would be funny and all, but why not replace it for Neji's death have her die like he did, and as she dies she sees Naruto kissing Sakura on her forehead, which is the last thing she will ever see?

Thanks it just been so long I think at least 12 years since I read that was not sure hell I forgot a lot of what happened as well in the big comic as well, again my brother lost it and many other comics I had from DC back in the day.

Yep crazy exist in everything.
When did toriyama ever do that in dragon ball when he killed a character cause fans kept bugging him?

Yes that's true captain America is or was a hydra agent somehow it was one of the biggest thing to happen in comics along with the DC rebirth event.

It was Doomsday, but Superman never died, it turned out that he was in a really long coma. Besides, the Superman that Doomsday fought was a weak Superman, which is something people choose to ignore when they want to say "Doomsday killed Superman." They also conveniently left out the fact that when Superman decided it was time to end things, he killed Doomsday in one blow.  That version of Superman that Doomsday fought, couldn't breathe in space for a long time, he could barely survive a nuke, and couldn't pull planets like he normally could. So the DOS Superman you are talking about was Byrne's version, and all in all, he was weak and later got stronger when he came out of his coma.

Ya the coma thing was a cope out, then superman turned into doomsday at some point a much stronger doomsday and superman, and I think this doomsday broke both of wonderwomans arms. Death and return of superman was a great event that even made national news back in 92. And set up half Jordan going crazy and becoming parallax after killing the green lanterns and leading into zero hour.

Thanks it just been so long I think at least 12 years since I read that was not sure hell I forgot a lot of what happened as well in the big comic as well, again my brother lost it and many other comics I had from DC back in the day.

They re-released the whole event of superman's death in a 5 part trade collection which I've got can't wait reread them.
DC sense to be rereleasing alot of their older comics, hell even their golden age heroes I've the first volume of an omibus of the golden age of superman and so many more to get.
Ever read the original secret wars from marvel it's really good along with dc's crisis on infinite earths.

So, we got the Boruto manga author claiming that the anime is getting "rave reviews".  How much do you want to bet that those "reviews" are just more SP sock puppet accounts trying to falsify reports of success for the anime to compensate the lack of intrigue from the actual fans, who are on to their BS?  After the crap that they pulled with the Last by deleting critical reviews and putting out fake ones that praised it, I believe SP's Naruto/Boruto department is capable of anything.

It wasn't a cop out, it's just literally IMPOSSIBLE to kill Superman under a yellow sun even with Kryptonite. For example, Diana slit his throat with her magical Tiara and Lasso and he literally healed within seconds.  When he absorbs enough yellow sunlight he becomes immune to Kryptonite itself. He had Kryptonite cancer at one point, I couldn't read the story all the way through, because it personally hurt me to see Superman like that, but I believe a simple bath in the sun ridded him of the cancer.

Superman needs the sun for his power, even though it's not the only source of his powers, it is main source. Thanks to Earth's lighter gravity, he would still be stronger and faster than anyone on Earth, but he needs the sun.  With the sun, Superman has an unlimited amount of power at his disposal as the days goes by. Superman has more power, his heat vision alone burns hotter than the core of the sun itself and it was once used to heat up the entire Earth at once. So to me, while he needs the sun to have his powers, he grows stronger where he can even outshadow his power source.

Sorry I heard that coma was a cop out, thanks for clearing it up. What story did you read that cancer from kryptonite from cause the only I read his was immune to that was all star superman great read by the way.
