It's not a chapter but I'm pretty sure Kishimoto said there's gonna be a bro/sis pair in the Akatsuki.

I don't remember Kishi saying s bro and sis Akatsuki members. However I think Madara will find new members since they need as much people as they can get in order to extract the eight and nine tails.

Nothing is 100% accurate

We are judging based on evidence & recent events in the manga, its leading more & more towards NS.

I don't think Kishimoto is trolling NS, why would you think that? I'm pretty sure his been absolutely pro-NaruSaku for the past, millionth chapters xD.

If you've read enough manga like me, it was obvious from chapter 3 Naruto and Sakura would end up together. It's the tsundere girl and boy who is attracted to her plotline. The plotline was set from the start. Kishimoto said he had the ending already planned out when he started the story, and he's said he's only changed a few things- mostly the order of events over the course of the manga. There are a certain number of plotlines in manga, what differs from writer to writer is the journey there- for example, Sakura was much kinder and caring from early on than the usual tsundere character toward Naruto, she is also far less violent in her temper than the typical tsundere, even in part 1. (the anime overplays Sakura's tsundere behavior- both in part 1 and 2- to make her fit more into the standard tsundere type, just like they overplay Naruto's stupidity, both to far excess in part 1. )

You are right on track on my friend. It's rather sad for NH because fillers don't count as canon material if you are referring to the manga's original content. Even if we debate this on amine preference the same problem will occur because now the amine is shifting towards NS every episode even in the fillers.

Oh my, the Narusaku thread. Well, just to add a few brief thoughts since I’m a newbie here. Cliché things I’m sure. Like most here, I’ve read a lot of manga. When I began reading Naruto and the anime about a few years ago, I honestly thought Naruhina is a high probability, because Japanese manga tends to fulfil the fairer sex wishes and crushes. Yet as time passes by, I realized who the heroine was, the female protagonist, and the support character with the most airtime, drawn manga pages, emotional moments, and most importantly, character development. Only the character of Sakura and Sasuke rivalled Naruto in that term. I found it hard to relate another pairing when you see the anime and manga as a whole. A deviation from that, say, Naruhina, will kill the numerous moments within the anime series. They became redundant, like, if Sakura truly felt nothing for Naruto, what’s the use of crying when she found out about Naruto’s imminent death should Kyuubi extracted from him, or when Naruto went on a rampage going against Orochimaru, and numerous others that I won’t mention here. As for Sasusaku, that was even harder to accept because it was built on very brief interaction between the said characters. Too vague and undeveloped in both manga and anime. Remember, Naruto is a maturing type of story, and each character changed over the years, as Sakura herself has admitted to Iruka. In my personal opinion, I think Narusaku has a high probability to happen. A pairing should happen soon or it might (I think) be detrimental for the series. The characters have reached that age you know. A game of tug and pull if left too long can be stale and damaging to the character, not to mention boring. It might be too late already, considering the fanatical followers of each pairing. Should a winner emerged, Naruto could possibly lose legions of fans. The worst, Kishimoto might keep the fine balance till kingdom come. I know I have no interest in Sasuke in love. He’s perfect for a bad guy. And a bad guy, if he is not hated because of his evil deeds, he failed in his character. He loses his cool if he has romantic notions. Heh heh heh. Just a fan thought.

No, look what you said about sasusaku, it's even more true about naruhina. Hinata also is a minor support character (and not even introduced into chapter 35 or so), that Naruto barely knew existed and his opinion of her was that she was "a creepy shy girl". Where Sakura he thought was the most beautiful girl he knew, and he wasn't just attracted to her looks but her spirit.

Even in shoujo manga there is always an immediate attraction of some sort- romantic or sexual, between the two characters that end up together. Yes, even with the tsundere girl she shows her attraction- although she fights it, early on. Sakura shows her subconscious attraction in chapter 5, just two chapters after her introduction, and she acts to save Naruto from what she thinks is life threatening danger in the same chapter, believing she's putting her own life in danger, but still acting immediately. Compare this to her reactions when she believes Sasuke is in danger- rooted to the spot and panicking, and swooning. Kishimoto spells it out right there for readers, Sakura's crush on Sasuke has a negative effect, while her subconscious attraction to Naruto has a positive effect- she acts immediately to try to save a team mate. She does this again in the Wave Country arc, when the first attack starts. Kakashi shouts for them to drop to the ground and Sakura immediately tackles Naruto to the ground and lays on top of him. (causing Naruto to have a major blush of excitement)

The alpha type boy who fights showing his attraction to a girl in shonen or shoujo manga will also have an inward reaction to her from the start- noting positively her beauty, spirit, intelligence, etc... in his thoughts. The somewhat perverted type boy is either like Naruto was toward Sakura or like Ranma was toward Akane.

So right there in the first chapters of Naruto the dynamics of the major characters were set. Sakura, Kakashi and Sasuke are all introduced in chapter 3- in that same chapter we see Naruto's crush on Sakura begin to shift into love as he discovers more about her personality. In chapter 5 we already see Sakura acting protective to Naruto and being subconsciously attracted to him as she discovers more about his personality. You can see Sasuke will be Kakashi's favorite student in the same chapter, and hints of Naruto and Sasuke's friendship/rival bond also begin during the bell test chapters.

I don't know about that Shippu-chan the studio Pierot were supporters of N/H that is until they read part 2 which was obviously all about the N/S development they know now what is the canon pairing Kishi has in mind since the beginning of the manga. They have no choice but to make the series more N/S now.

That's what I mean, they have to be proNS :] the 100+ NH fillers were because they didn't know what Kishimoto wanted because he didn't focus on romance in Part 1 so they figured NH or liked it I guess.

They obviously weren't proSS because I dont remember any SS filler moments, thankfully.

Now Part 2 they know what Kishimoto wants, an that is happily NS :3
