I used Lex Luthor reference according to the Smallville series where he was initially Superman's best friend but then turned into his arch-nemesis.

I'm sure some NH shippers will equate Sakura=Lana (first crush) and Hinata=Lois (final couple).

Personally, I would equate Hinata=Lana (cute, but poor chemistry being forced on the audience) and Sakura=Lois (fiesty and mutual affection).

Please don't give Kishi any ideas because he might do something like that and he might have Sasuke kill someone close to Naruto like Iruka (Hinata is not close to Naruto she's a minor character not to mention if she does die NH fans will start with the "NS became canon because Hinata is dead crap").

No worries dude if Kishi was so influenced by what us fans say he would made NH by now BY THE WAY how IS Sasuke Naruto's arch-nemesis? I would say his hostile rival if anything well maybe anyway I hope Naruto continues after the war but if not Its been a great run

I don't get you. You said don't use Smallville but came up with your own equations. Anyway I didn't reference the whole series. Just the Lex Luthor part where a former best friend become the worst enemy. Though I do agree with you that there is still a possibility of that happening. We still haven't seen Sasuke at his worst since he already taken Itachi's eyes but haven't been in action yet. So N, according to what has happened so far, Sasuke is still redeemable but the story hasn't end yet so saying something will never happen is wrong.

Given Naruto's goals and some of the things he has said...Sasuke dead would not be a fairy tail ending. It would be a somewhat bittersweet ending.

Just meant as a warning. If there is even the slightest glimmer of a possibility of NH or SS, you'll get some people that insist it is cannon. Like the way that Sakura *must* love Sasuke because she thought of him (as a burnt-out criminal) or that she tried to kill him (she doesn't care enough about Naruto to try to kill him) or that she was almost killed by Sasuke (uh... can't think of something for this one).

I gave my own Smallville equations, just in case someone else was getting the wrong idea.

Yeah, I guess I have a hard time thinking of Naruto saying Capone quotes from "The Untouchables":

This is what I wish for in the end:

Naruto and Sasuke battles, and Naruto has the upper hand in the end. But
he hesitates because he doesn't want to kill his friend. This gives a new opening for
Sasuke to make his finishing blow on Naruto. This is where Sakura steps in and somehow
stops the blow but gets greatly hurt in the process. Sakura is hurt to a point where we cannot
know if she will survive or not (Medical ninja not around) Sasuke is tired and gets delayed for a while.
In th emeantime Naruto is holding the damaged Sakura in his arms, and he asks why.
Than she says she truly loves him and faints. Narutos will now have to enter himself and face
his ultimate task. Will he flip on Sasuke? With pure eyes this accident gives Naruto new strength and stops Sasuke
and somehow traps him so he can't do kitten. Then he in some special way saves Sakura with some special power.
While atending to Sakura, Sasuke realizes he has lost, and now truly understand what kind of road he has been walking.
So he decides to lead a difrent life from now on and onwards. Knowing Konoha won't accept what he has done he manage
to escape from his surposed "trap" and tell Naruto it is time for them to work together in order to beat Madara. And they do somehow.
After Madara is done for and the war is over Naruto is so exhausted. Sasuke says he will leave Konoha for good, and restore and redeem the uchiha
on a path that isn't filled with evil, hatred and pain. then he will say
"I am really glad I met you too"

Than he leaves and as Naruto is echausted he is not able to stop him from going.
After all the hurrays and all the happy ending stuff (A romantical scene here with naruto and Sakura would be good, with Sakura taking initiative)
After this there is a small time skip where we see Naruto and Sakura together. And they kiss or something that
shows proof of them being together. Naruto becomes Hookage, there is a ceremony, than when he and Sakura is home after that,
he says that he has not yet given up on Sasuke, and that he somehow, someday, will make team7 meet up once again for the last time.
The ending panel is with Naruto saying this smiling and with his thumb up, as he did so long ago.

THE END!

So what ya think of that ending? xD

Hmmm, that is a very plausible ending that could actually happen and I can't see little or any faults to it. It's better than my idea of Sakura actually killing Sasuke.

Naruto failing is possible cause Vash (trigun) had to break his morals, but learned from that leason, but ur right in a manga/anime like Naruto he most likely wont fail.

And Hinata cannot die, if she dies, especially in that manner he wont hear the end of it....nh will say oh well Naruto killed his best friend and tossed his morals aside for hinata, they would also say Naruto had to settle for sakura since hinata would be dead.

and as for ur ending just a couple of things:

I would sakura to say more then just that she truly loves him and I would want more a reaction from Naruto.
And those new powers ur talk about could be what Itachi gave Naruto.
Its hard to believe that just after losing to Naruto sasuke would find the error of his ways. too anti climatic IMO
and again I'm not a fan of sasuke becoming a wander, also anti climatic IMO, although I wouldnt mind seeing the uchia clan revived, even though those are conflicting opinions.

question, even though it's not that big a deal, why does sakura hit naruto? and why do people make such a big deal out of it?

^^ Well Sakura's a tsundere, the name should sound familar, and she hits Naruto because she cares and is concern for the way he acts. People make a big deal because other shippings thinks that she does it because she's a bit*ch, though it was true at first few chapters, before she starts to warm up soon and set the basis of her character to now. We, narusaku fans, think that it's because she cares a lot and need to resort to something to get through his thick head if talking does not work.

Thats exactly correct. The tsundere violence is always played for comedic effect. Usually the main character who is on the end of the violence has done or said something insensitive or perverted or just plain out right stupid. The tsundere embarassed or angered then corrects the main character forcefully in some fashion --usually painfully-- that plants him on the ground with a comically exagerated knot on his noggin or black eye.

the character as soon as things get serious again is usually up and is completely fine by the next panel and ready to go.

In Sakuras case readers mostly western misread the comedic context of the moments as badly as they misread the moments when Karin lusts after Sasuke. they are always done in a comedic context, and if you actually count through the ongoing 545 chapters of the manga she has only decked him roughly give or take maybe 6-7 times in total.

however sakura bashers seemt to see Sakura even looking at him crosseyed as a personal attack and thus this absurd notion that she regularly beats him.

this is oft fed by the anime which overdoes Sakuras tsundere tendancies, and by proxy Narutos stupidity and immaturity as well as fan fiction writers which over do the trope to a large degree.

yup and not just Sakura either every tsundere put into an anime hits the main character, their love interest at least 5-1 times compared to the manga which in turn makes them poorly recieved by fandoms and i agree with you pharix
