I did find it amusing how even in Sakura's ideal image of Sasuke, he still does not love her, is that a hint telling us she doesn't really love Sasuke at all but just wants to see a Sasuke who is happy and carefree?
Indeed. Pretty much everyone in the K12 comes from a clan. The only ones that don't are Lee and Tenten, but they both had a strong and clearly defined set of skills when they were first introduced. If anything though, I hope this will be brought up later. Perhaps Sakura will feel like she will never be able to stand on equal ground with Naruto and Sasuke or even be able to surpass Tsunade. How could she? After all, she all come from powerful and respected clans? How could a commoner like her ever compete with that? Then her parents will give her a big motivationel speech and tell her of proud they are of her and then she will remember Naruto's words about how even a "loser" can surpass a genius through hard work and determination.
It probably won't happen though but hey, I can dream, can't I?
Speaking of which, I hope that Sakura will get to do some fighting in this movie. Overall, the movies have all included at least one scene of her being awesome, so I really hope this movie doesn't forget her and judging from the spoilers it doesn't seem like it, so yay.

Yeah, according to Tokyokit, that happened. He then said that all four fight and three of them protect Naruto from recovering the fall. That sounds so awesome, that I wish I see it already.

Ok, this is from a few pages back, so I'll lump my response together:
@redragon, terrorking and verilance…. all good posts, guys. *fist bump*
@redragon, i agree with what you said about Kishi wanting to make a movie that appealed to people who had never seen Naruto before. From that view, so much of their characterizations make sense. It's like a mini version of the manga development of their characters.
Kishi is showing some of their flaws so their characters can develop and they can overcome them, all within the context of the movie.
Sakura and Naruto have matured into very likeable characters, but early on, they all had grating flaws. It seems they are unearthed here for the sake of the plot.

That date thing, something tells me that Sakura will gladly accept his date request with no excuse in the future, the first time she accepted his request it was cut off. Sakura wanted to apologize for the things she told Naruto but Kishi also cut that out, he wants her to apologize in real manga not a movie.
Now the question, what's it with you and Naruto?
Sai ask her about Naruto, no reply.
Yamato, no reply.
Hinta, no reply.
Every moment between Sakura where it seems that the tension will raise it's cut up by something or someone.
Already been answered in 469-70. She's in love with Naruto and knows it. Yamato didn't ask her in 297, he's the one who got her to the point of putting it together of what her feelings for Naruto was (she already knew it was some kind of romantic attraction by the time she first sees Naruto in 245- the blushing and overt flirtation about wanting him to notice how much more like a woman she looked... ) and already knew she felt this intense drive to protect him from real danger , and had intense sadness and anger about the pain she realized he had endured by being the Kyuubi host.
Sai didn't ask either, he made an astute observation- right after he met her! (same as Yamato's observation) that the way she acted toward Naruto was like "something he read in a book". (and it was deliberately worded to remind you of what Shikaku told Shikamaru back in the later part of part 1 (Kishimoto doesn't say it outright on purpose, not just to build up dramatic tension but because it was meant for Sakura to be the one that said it first. We get that Naruto loves Sakura first from Naruto's thoughts in part 1. ) As for not answering that to movie Hinata- it was none of her business- point blank. She was being offensively rude and nosey in Japanese culture. This is something meant to be between Naruto and Sakura. The fact that Sakura said she loved Naruto to his face in front of other observers showed just how strong her feelings for Naruto are.
Note, when Sakura confessed to Sasuke, they were alone and she was staring at his back... When Hinata confessed to Naruto she had her back to him and thought she and Naruto were about to die. I see Sakura's confession to Sasuke and Hinata's to Naruto as far weaker than Sakura's to Naruto.
Sakura was so determined to let Naruto know that she overcame the embarassment of making her confession in front of several other people that knew her well. That's a lot more to overcome than confessing to your crush's back when you are alone, or confessing to your crush without even looking at him and thinking you are about to die. Sakura starts out looking very shy and feminine- having to make a confession in front of other people that knew her would be embarassing (as she says when she has to repeat it.)
Naruto hasn't made his confession to Sakura. Sakura knows from Sai, but Naruto needs to say it, and also apologize for being jerkish when she made her confession just because he was annoyed that she was in denial about having removed all feelings whatsoever about Sasuke from herself.
What the movie shows is interesting- Sakura still believes that Naruto completely understands her, then gets a frustrating wake up call that he doesn't. (We saw, but she didn't that he had lost some of his understanding of her because he was still seeing her as the unattainable 12 year old Sasuke fangirl in his mind. Yet after she was angry and firm about her feelings for Naruto, he does basically accept she loves him, he just decides she loves both himself and Sasuke- we see he had accepted her feelings- and felt a bit ashamed about being a jerk, when Sai gently reproves him in 474.)
Sakura doubts herself and she left that encounter with Naruto thinking he loved Sasuke more than he loves her- which made her plan all that more heartbreaking for her. She did outright fear Naruto would hate her if she suceeded in killing Sasuke. It wasn't just the remnant of her memories of feelings for Sasuke that held her back, I think her knowledge of Naruto's extremely intense bond to Sasuke also created an additional mental stumbling block. I don't think she realizes the later... and fears the former means she still has too many feelings for Sasuke- which makes her hate herself.
Not sure if the real world movieverse Sakura had that crisis. Things seem to be different on some crucial points even in the "real world" from manga canon. (maybe no Pain attack on Konoha, maybe no kage summit, definitely no 4th Ninja World War- which would make it highly likely no Kage summit and thus no disasterous attempt by Sakura to kill Sasuke, Sasuke's fight with Bee and his revealed to be part of Akatsuki doesn't seem likely either. So we are left with this real world Naruto and Sakura just having had the encounter that happened around chapter 300. After which Sakura was just having her first doubts about Sasuke, and Naruto still absolutely determined he could bring Sasuke around if he tried harder next time....

The four are Minato, Kushina, Naruto, and Sakura. According to the video review, they all fight. When Naruto was down, they all protect him. I think it was when Naruto was down, not by genjutsu. Genjutsu happened already, which is when Sakura protects Naruto from getting killed. Then Naruto saves her after waking up.
@4000TMNT: she was? Link me that video.

Someone should ask Shadow from NF if Kushina does that weird/funny face in this movie
And in one of TheTokyoKit's reviews it says that Sakura heals Kushina after she got hit by the purple ball

Not only that but the movie feels rushed. I can't help but feel like Kishi just had a billion ideas that he wanted to mash into a single movie. The way the characters act is just mixed.
That's not to say I don't think it's good. I like the idea of Sakura being more of a Heroine, and it's nice to finally see Naruto's family. The comedy aspect was pretty nice too. I am also grateful to see how Naruto and Sakura's dates will be like. I would have thought they'd just go out for ramen or something but apparently when it comes to the heaven and earth combo they have to go out on a huge epic adventure! The music was amazing in my opinion, as was the scene where Naruto put on Minato's cloak.

They do, but as for conversation, it's small. It's small according to Shadow. Sad, but I hope they help each other physically. After all, they are protecting Naruto.

So far, for what I read, there aren't any.
Don't tell me they consider the sentence at the beginning where they fight the Akatsuki a moment?!
He just says "Do your best Hinata!"

Are you surprised? Seriously you were joking right? I read comments like, Naruto told Hinata to do her best, but he didn't tell Sakura anything to encourage her. Ignoring Sakura most mean true love in NarSak camp.
Others, so much for understanding each other, but when Naruto asked Sakura for a date she told him no rejected two times in a movie, true love for NarSak.
The level of denial on the other side is worse than those Die Hard Movies.

I think they were interrupted by Tobi, therefore he didn't have time to react.
