It's monthly ? Then I change what I said. Boruto manga will at least take 4 - 5 years to finish.

Because Oda is his own boss and if he doesn't like what his editor says he quickly says" NO I don't like it" unlike Kishi who will say yes to anything his crazy Hinata fan editors would say like he was a mindless zombie.

 

If Oda's editors tells him" Luffy should never become king of the pirates" do you think Oda would agree with him??? Hell NO. 

Exactly, because Oda knows his worth AND he knows the value of his story. He knows that his story pays the bills and that he wants to do it the way he wants to. Not because the studio tells him too. An editor is supposed to be a consultant and a grammar fixer. Not the writer themselves. That is not their job.

He knows that his story helps pay the bills. He knows that it is his story that gives them jobs and while he might respect his fellow crew, he reminds them that the chain of command goes up, not down. Any and all decisions are up to him. Sure he may take their advice now and then if he sees it as being a better outcome, but if he is determined that "This has to happen" he will do it. The only thing that might change is how he gets there.

Same with Ken Akumatsu. Remember when the studio tried to make him set up Negima in such a way that would allow them to make sequels? Or something....what did he do? He made his own story end in such a way that they couldn't just profit off his work and destroy it. He may not have gotten what he wanted, but at least he made sure they didn't either.

I wish Kishimoto was more like these two and many other manga writers out there.

There is no excuse why Kishimoto couldn't stand up whether legal or not seeing other writers standing up to people. Even some mangaka standing up to their own fans by saying "No"

Interesting never knew that about kojima. So it's konmai' s fault mgs5 was an incomplete mess from what I've heard.
That's all kishi is now a spineless coward. Didn't kubo do the same as oda up til the ending? Also oda is a better writing and has thongs planned out from the start and I've heard one piece is basically his life to where he gold his editors they have to die for one piece. Wish me luck on Sunday cause I'm going to be watching the bolt movie.

Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura families could've been made with NS and SK families, or Sasuke staying single which is the best for him after seeing he's still the same on " I prefer to spend more time alone ". But, they chose what they think the fans want.

Agreed shina and sarada could have gotten together and it would be so much better, cause Shina is a much more likeable and interesting character than bolt.

It doesn't seem Kishimoto have much control over this series since the war arcs in Shippuden.

at the end of the day, they only control as much as Kishimoto ALLOWS them to control. It's his story, he's putting in all the work. Kishimoto is just too yellow-bellied to put his foot down and do the story his way.

So I just got done reading A Silent Voice, and damn that was such an emotional story to read not gonna lie.  I'll say this the redemption arc Shoya goes through is just amazing and definetly outshines the halfassed thing Kishi did with Sasuke.

They probably never even kissed which makes how Sakura had Sarada even more baffling. I mean they had a chance in the end of Gaiden but no sasuke just up and leaves like the kitten he is.
