I think Sakura looks good in this movie... You know what? It's not like Naruto and Sakura aren't gonna interact at all in this movie. Hinata might still love Naruto, but years into the future and I'm pretty sure Sakura doesn't love Sasuke anymore. Her feelings would be much more clear in this movie (hopefully). Yes, Naruto might be helping with some Hyuga issues - but will that really suddenly make him turn around and love Hinata?
I don't think so. But whenever Sakura was upset, Naruto would also just stare at Sakura and not want her to feel that pain. And that's for the majority of the actual manga. Honestly... I can't see Naruto loving any girl, the way he loved Sakura. Sakura's just perfect - in being caring, in being determined like him, in being realistic when it comes to putting him in line. And whenever she's sad, you can just see how concerned Naruto is. When she's hurt and being attacked, you can see how determined and angry Naruto becomes. And when she's standing up for herself and being strong, you can see how impressed he his, you can see his smile and his admiration.
And Sakura feels the same exact way. Except Naruto doesn't know. And Kishi is still having a hard time addressing it - even though we all know Sakura's feelings for Naruto are there. I don't expect them to go away, after all the times Kishi's hinted at her reciprocating feelings toward Naruto.
And in that trailer we see Naruto staring at a sad Hinata. But honestly, throughout the future-gap, have they interacted enough to know each other inside and out? To be able to work well together, and protect one another, to really have the ability to feel for each other? And does Sakura seriously just drop out of the whole thing?
I can't see how Hinata could end up with Naruto, when I would still expect Naruto to continue loving Sakura. I can't see Naruto stop loving Sakura because "suddenly" he grew a connection with Hinata. I can't see Sakura being hung up on Sasuke like before - I see her as strong and confident and even more developed. Something that Hinata has a lot of trouble with.
I'm very unsure of the outcome of this movie. But if it's relevant to just making NaruHina canon on a whim, I honestly don't know if I could be anymore disappointed. Because literally nothing in this manga hints at NaruHina, besides Hinata's love for Naruto. Everyone seems to love her love for Naruto, while Naruto's feelings are wasted away. Is Kishi a part of that "everyone"?
