There are times I honestly forget these guys are supposed to be ninja's.

I think it's the 'I was a teenage mercenary soldier' thing.

Eh two minutes seems a bit long for ninja's i'd say about 30 seconds.

thats why i said 2 mins at most lol. and if you think about it in reality its been at most just a couple of days since sakura confessed to naruto. I'm not sure on the exact timeline I'm thinking more like a few hours. So it will be interesting to see. Think about it, say you confess to someone in the morning then that afternoon your being saved by that person thats alot to go through in that short amount of time. So it will definately be interesting to see how things play out.

It is funny, because I think that sometimes everyone forgets how little amount of time passes in the manga.

Pretty much. Not only that, but it feels like most of the ninja elements the manga did have were dropped ages ago. It gets to where you have to remind yourself "these dudes are supposed to be ninja's".

Probably because the manga's design has switched somewhat, I love our pairing as much as the next guy, but there needs to be some more action. That's why the last couple of chapters have been good, because you're hoping to see someone get their butt kicked. Overall this seems consistent though, it's just a change in focus. I'm just glad Sasuke is going blinds. But there'll be a fix for that.

Yes, but are they ninja turtles? See, that's important. Ninja's are cool, but ninja turtles turn everything up to eleven.

I honestly don't think the manga's been focusing on that more than it ever has, really. A lot of fans make every chapters developments about that, but taken on it's own the manga's hasn't dealt much with actual romance, or at least no any more than your average shounen. The problem lies in a lot of things that add up, but it's best not to get too far into that track right now. Maybe later.

But there'll be a fix for that.

Cybernetic Sharingan eyes! Twice the power! Twice the haxs! This time with technology, so when the Sharingan hax you, it really ****ing hax you.

I would imagine the cyber Sharingan eyes would have it's haxing show up as a Game Genie menu where Sasuke puts in codes for new uber powers and infinite ammo.

Agreed, just looking like Kishi's keeping his word on the more romance thing to me, but you're right on the equations of it.

Something I noticed about the timeline too. Did you realize that it (in the Manga) has been less then a few days since Naruto beat Pain and made BFF's with Nagato? Dang.

Yeah it really does suck that the most powerful dousjutsu "rinnegan " was taken over by sharingan spam. Maybe Konan will give Naruto rinnegan transplant to counter future Sasuke ems and a panel at the end of the manga showing Rikudu looking just like Naruto.

As for fhe next chapter Im hopeing Kishi will make it epic and pull out all more of our pairing and development showing Naruto/Sakura do better together and actually need each to survive/love/make it through life.

I am looking forward to Sakura's reaction in the next chapter realizing that Naruto is carrying her bridal style. In this chapter she was really shocked but I bet she hasn't realize the situation to how Naruto was holding her until it finally sinks in her I can see it now. She will blush and feel embarrassed very cute.

Mercenary soliders were actually much closer to the reality of what ninjas actually were historically than the mythos that grew up around them after most of the Iga ninja were slaughtered by Nobunaga's samurai. (However, Tokugawa recruited Iga survivors and also rival Koga ninja clan and continued to do so after he became Shogun.) The Wikipedia article on ninjas is relatively good:

Now on the great ending of chapter 484 and what 485 might have, I think it would be great if Kishimoto has Sakura reach up and heal Naruto's cut while she's still in his arms, their eyes meet and Naruto says "I could never hate you, Sakura chan."

i do have to say that, though i like to think i always had faith in the manga, this chapter has strengthened my testimony of the Church of Naruto Uzumaki and Latter Day Ninjas.
