It's so hard to appreciate anything with Hinata in it now. SP and Kishimoto just ruined Hinata and everything that she is that even fan writers can;t make her better. Yet, I think Tokai is really doing something here.

Admittedly, it is REALLY hard for any writer, no matter how good, to get the bad taste of Hinata out of my mouth after so much SP sucking up to her. Hinata is a spoiled rotten fruit of a character and that fault lies with SP alone. Not even Kishimoto can take blame for this one.

It's not really her character that annoys me the most. It's her rabid die hard fans and her wanking fanboy creators. Every time I looked at her on paper/screen, I see them in the background instead of her. There are far worse female characters worse than Sakura and Hinata combined together like the famous Korean webtoon Tower of God's female character Rachael.

But Kishimoto said that would be "too pitiful" if that happened. As if it wasn't pitiful that after an entire manga of loving Sakura, he has to watch her humiliate herself in front of Sasuke. and never return his feelings. That wasn't pitiful. But it would have been pitiful if Hinata did not get her feelings returned. I guess it becomes more pitiful depending on how minor the character is that it happens to. So if it that scientist girl with the glasses had confessed to Shikamaru, Shikamaru would have had to be with her and make up excuses as to why he pretended to like Temari.

For me it's not just that, it's also the fact that whenever I see a character that even has a slight resemblance to Hinata, I instantly see Hinata, and think back to all the negativity that comes along with her.

And I can't see the character that the writer wanted to portray, I just see Hinata with all her baggage.

I agree, not only has Hinata's character has been tainted but also she has tainted the whole story. Nothing is enjoyable anymore from this series and I can't even enjoy the old, good Naruto parts without having Hinata come up and ruin it all. I never hated her but because of these reasons she is one of the worst anime characters of all time in my opinion.

I feel you. However, after Naruto's ending....all the characters in other series that resemble her are spoiled. All the characters before, like Shinobu from Love Hina, stayed pure because I saw them first before Hinata. If anything, Hinata was a horrible and bad copy of them.

As for the character, it is her expriencing the real problems with the Hyuga clan and hopefully take more care to notice such things.

If He WERE to take any blame, it was to make her in the first place But considering all things he can't be faulted for that. Hinata was merely a character he created. It was all of her wankers worshipers and social shut-ins jerking off to her porn that we got to where we are today with Naruto
