Hubris is going to be Madara's undoing.  We already got a hint about that when he spit out the Sennin's gear and considered himself all the better for it.   Madara's attitude reminds me of the devil/demon in this old Twilight Zone episode.  (If you haven't seen it, it's worth watching for the payoff.)

 

 

It's difficult to guess what form Madara's demise will take, but it may end up rather underwhelming.  Like the fall of Achilles.

I hope we don't get an Aizen event again, I mean it's not bad to seal the bad guy away, but at least make it so he needs to have a long good fight being beaten down until he is ready to be sealed, I mean at least do that!

All we got with bleach was a giant super attack from Ichigo, no more powers, Aizen boasts some more then sees something is wrong and kiskae got him while his guard was down.

This is why I hope that pot and gourd have the brothers energy so naruto can use that. I'd rather see a fight then a simple sealing event. It's too hard to see Madara defeated in like 10 chapters just by the pot he dropped.

I'm sure anyone here would rather the brothers option or temporarily sealing Madara away to heal naruto would be much better than actually making the tool the cloud village had all this time as the answer to The biggest bad guy ever in the series, I mean yes the pot has the power to contain a tailed beast, but there has to be a limit and I mean that, just how can a simple device like this contain the progenitor of all chakra, the host none the less.

As for anything else is the chapter wendsday as usual?

Please don't remind me of that. There's so many wrongs that I have than anyone else probably think of. Sealing is ok though it has to be handle very carefully. That said well I don't want to get into that discussion.

I really hope that this is the end of Madara's winning streak. I don't necessarily want him to be defeated. I just want him to experience some sort of serious defeat. Hopefully him discarding rikudou's ninja tools are indicative that his arrogance will be eventually be his downfall.

 

It won't be easy though, because right now things aren't looking too bright, especially now that black zetsu has absorbed dark Kurama's chakra. Hopefully Minato and co. will be able to do something while Sakura continues to be an awesome medic. Either that, or she gets to do some serious fighting. That would be awesome.   

 

Oh yeah and the MinaKushi moment and Team Gai moment were a nice comedic touch.

I really would like to see Sakura fighting too, but I think she will stay stuck with Naruto.

She can't leave him dying like that.

Hopefully she will fight when Naruto will be on his feet again.

Thats generally the idea, so many times in a series when the villain reaches incredible power, the idea is something is done to either turn the power on them or the heroes take advantage of a situation to suddenly imprision them. Its not a problem if sealing does occur, but generally its much better when there is an actual fight to the point the villian is weakened. Sometimes the solution oddly enough is letting the villian win but then they forgot one tiny detail that leads to their defeat.

 

In one case, things can go like this with naruto due to the madara situation. Either we can get a good fight we need to finally see madara fall, or things can become piss poor easy and he gets defeated in such an easy and convenient way like Aizen in Bleach. Least with the brothers in the pot or yin kurama recovery situation, naruto and sasuke get the power to stand up and with sasuke fight madara, they did it against obito, it would work again just this time more meaning. Otherwise if that pot is empty, the best thing which is acceptable is either madara is removed temporarily(but later breaks out of the pot by sheer power)  while they recover naruto or they weaken him to the point he is able to be sealed away (though this one could occur if they also take the brothers out, heal naruto, then seal him later on after he is weakened.

I don't know if it's been brought up, but what about the gedo statue arm that kakashi sent away with his kumai... Can they seal that into naruto? Would naruto in turn, get the same level of chakra as madara?

Well, we did talk about it. Not sure if that's possible. It is an arm and Naruto still needs the host to live, not just chakra. But then again, I could be wrong.

The problem with Bleach is that it just so happens that he lost to the seal, let alone growing stronger. Naruto gave you the ideas on why it happened before ultimately happens. I don't like how it just is, rather than it just happens. I know they tried to explain but it didn't feel no satisfaction. Hell, at least Naruto carried the theme about friends to the end, having the friends and all others to help Naruto extracting Obito.

That said now I think about it how will this works? Naruto had Minato to expand the extraction to all others but now there's one half Kuruma. So I think Madara defeat will be different. It's like they say, many of these are one trick pony. Hm...

Well it will be good as chakra though, I guess. It won't be the same as having a host inside. Takes two to tango. Like if he runs out, he could just die. We'll see.

Do you guys think Black Zetsu can control Kurama or at least Kurama's chakra? So far we saw that Kurama can be controlled by the Sharingan or he allows himself to be "controlled" the way Naruto and Minato "control" him.

Yeah but if Madara actually gets the other half of Kurama then it's truly game over. Then there's nothing that can stop Madara.

The way I see it is Obito regains control of his body and he either gives Naruto the other half of Kurama or he will use his revival jutsu to bring back Naruto and maybe even everyone else then he is going to give Kurama to Naruto. I believe the pot will play a roll later on.

I am pretty sure Kishi will not leave the pairings open-ended. I firmly believe he plans making at least a couple canon and that pairing is Naruto/Sakura. And I have been thinking that since I read chapter three.

 

This said, I ALMOST want him leaving it all open-ended. So many years of bitter pairing wars, all for nothing. Good Lord, that would be masterful trolling. I would be laughing for days.

 

This, I agree with you. I just don't care much for the pairing anymore. So yeah, at this point I want Kishi to troll everybody.
