Off topic 6 days until September 17th, you won't see much of me on that one day, where all the stars are aligned and bring forth to us Grand Theft Auto 5.
On topic: So basically has it been 1000 years since the Rikudo sennin sealed the Juubi inside the moon? Does that mean the Juubi is bound to give out another fruit? Also for a tree of life...it looks ugly. You know I would had expected branches and leafs...nope just a stick with a flower on top.
Wouldn't destroying the tree of life basically destroy all life on the world...thus making it a no no.
If Naruto eats the fruit of God, will he use the extra power to revive the dead members of the alliance? Thus making dead without any consequence...you know like DBZ?
Kishimoto's established that he won't put a death to waste. So far, he gave plenty of characters meaningful deaths that impacted those who still live. I don't think he'd renounce this theme.
Sasuke is standing behind him, and Naruto is looking forward and never looks back behind him at Sasuke (you can tell by the fact he is still leaning on Sarutobi's back in the closeup the same way he is in the frame that shows the whole group from farther away.)

They are both looking at the dead bodies of the shinobi (or Sasuke could be looking at Naruto, but Naruto is definitely looking at the bodies).
As much as I would like otherwise, I agree that Naruto's sense of duty is more likely going to keep him focused on the immediate threat rather than looking aimlessly for Sakura, especially when he doesn't even have the energy to stand up on his own.
There's a slight possibility that Sai might bring her to Naruto, to join the rest of his team, but seeing as that brings her closer to danger (Obito), I'm not so sure that it would make sense for him to do so (unless you count the fact that Obito is no longer attacking and is focused on casting Infinite Tsukuyomi, in which case, distance from him would make no real difference).
Also, following through on stopping Obito saves Sakura as well. He'll trust Sakura to have survived, and continue with what needs to be done.
He established himself that he doesn't care for anyone, so long he becomes Hokage and protect it for Itachi. It's been shown many times. He only needs them to finish the fight. Why kill them if they are doing what you're doing. Enemy of my enemy is my friend. That's why Orochimaru managed to overcome many things from Akatsuki and such, regardless that Sasuke ended up backstabbing him. The point is why waste men when your enemy could do it for you. Pretty much Sasuke plays "Well, look at them...dying slowly" while Naruto plays "Dammit...Dammit!!! Comrades....friends...everyone!!!"
I don't think so. Sasuke needs him alive and needs to end this war so he can fight him. Sasuke is well hungry to fight Naruto and kill him for himself. Yes, Sasuke is weaker but that would mean he will be driven to find more power because of it. Remember how fast he wanted Itachi's eyes after Naruto's speech? Well, exactly.
True, I saw this from the very beginning when he said he'd protect the village. However, others still wanted to believe he turned good, even when they didn't want that, saying Sasuke's mood changes too sporadically. Even after chapter 631, when he arrived, some still believed he was good, even after he bluntly stated he didn't care what others thought of him and the dark contrast on his face. I participated in an argument about this on one of the Manga Fox threads that basically lead to nothing being resolved, and only ended with headache.
Does Sasuke even want a one on one confrontation with both fighters at their best? I don't believe Sasuke is that honorable.
Sorry about that
You explanation was more succinct though
Well, another option did occur to me - what if Sakura, despite being exhausted, demanded that Sai bring her to Naruto so that she can heal him/ see if he is okay (since he's much closer to the base of the tree than she and Sai are, from my understanding). Sai will tell her she doesn't have energy for that, and being the stubborn and determined individual she is, simply says that if Sai won't help her get there, she'll get there herself no matter how long it takes her.
Which would make more sense than Sai deciding on his own to bring her to Naruto, and also gives Sakura an active role as well
To be honest, I'm not sure how likely this is to happen given current events (and the preview hinting that Sasuke is going to make some decisive move soon), but I would love to see something like this, and I think it's pretty in character as well.
This could very well happen. She's proven to think of Naruto's well-being before herself, and knows he's key for a turn-around.
