Guess its safe to say Narusaku is still the top dog, if there was anything known in this chapter, its that Sakura is not 100% on Sasuke. She is more focused on the entirety of the team, hence this chapter has the flashbacks before the seal is revealed.
Sakura did say that hers surpassed Tsunade, the exact details are not fully known though, but what I loved about this chapter is it not only revealed Sakura's power, it also shut up haters even more, some said they hated her because she never used this power, well its simple now, she never used it because it was a long time development technique. Remember one thing Kishi has done with Sakura was make her a late bloomer in terms of skill towards Naruto.
Two things I can clearly see and fall back that just makes this chapter great, when Sakura first promised Naruto but said he may have to wait a while and the second from 573. They just resonate well with this chapter. Heck 573 from Sakura has already applied 3 times to this one chapter, Hinata only got 615 with her stuff. Sakura's speech from 573 just kept popping up in these past 3 weeks with her saying stuff like we will all fight together this time or no matter what you say I wont let you handle it alone. This is much better then some silly hand holding desire.
The SS thing, well its left debatable if sakura was blushing or had dirt, but does it matter? Has SasuSaku even advanced at all? Naruto is there too and the fact that he is gotta be real careful now to never oppose or upset Sakura, heh I wonder if Kurama will mention anything about her temper like Minato did. I'm still convinced Naruto loves Sakura and its kinda funny how some haters are sayying haha we have been trolled. Its basically like this:
Last chapter 631- Minakush torpedoed the NH and SS ships and basically sided with NaruSaku. It caused great upset to the others for Sakura being like Kushina.
This week: SS basically did the equivalent of throwing a rock at a battleship, the worse they could do is break a window. SS basically threw a small rock at NS if anything, is that much? No.
615 passed, it was a moment but moments pass. Sakura-Kushina, thats a theme in the story which came back, its not centrally tied to one character, it was started by Kushina before death, Minato continued it with Sakura, it can be built more. Heck I'm awaiting the forehead stuff more then ever with the yin seal release. If Naruto gets time to notice it later he may just blurt it out or something. SS is still gone well, nowhere. The biggest challenge of all is just how does Sasuke feel about Sakura and the whole deal is though, theres no real point in him loving Sakura this late.
I would also say one thing, the second to last panel, she just says how if both of them are busy fighting she make take hokage away from both of them. Remember Sakura wanted to see team 7 together again and because they are she is just having some joy with it. She didn't revert, the simple attention to saying his name, she has not gone back, she has not forgotten about Naruto. 631 is still ours, nothing undermined it and especially not a simple thing like this. No point in making a huge deal with it. Even the jealousy of Naruto can still be seen if anything showing he still loves Sakura. Why did Sakura say Sasuke? Not cause she loved him or because she saw him first, if anything she may have been happy and surprised at his commitment to both of them and also this is the first time they fought together since Gaara. Sakrua is not fangirling and did not revert, she is not going to forget Naruto. Sakura-Kushina is still the priority and big factor for us now aside from all past development.
No matter how its cut this chapter, nothing trolled or set us back, if anything did happen SS wise, it didn't advance them or hurt us in practically anyway, its like the first people get nailed by torpedos, one retaliated by throwing a rock, what is stronger here?
NS is still on top of things, basically, we can safely conclude this: Nothing has changed this week, anti-NS fans will say what they want, but nothing has changed, even if they did it is completely insignificant to the reveal of who was like Kushina last week (sakura) and that Naruto is still most likely in love with Sakura (betting he is in love cause well he never did change his feelings, if anything this week with his umm I'm here too, is also an indicator). NH can continue to argue the hand holding but Hinata never said anything beyond this, there arn't any major story elements left with her. SS can argue the thank you, Sasuke's redemption, and this minor moment (even if they can), but it is still the least developed of the 3 big ones, Sasuke still has no reason to go loving Sakura at all, not to mention nothing saying Sakura cannot mature. Sakura can and most likely will mature over her ideals of Sasuke. As I see it, NS has the advantage for a few clear reasons, past development, the Sakura-Kushina parallel, and the fact that there are many lingering elements to both continue and build further on the Sakura-Kushina stuff, hell the Sakura-Kushina stuff can be bolstered further with the whole forehead deal more then ever, now there is a symbol on Sakura's forehead that Naruto may love even more. Not to mention just imagine if Kurama had some input. There is also the whole ordeal with 457 and the possibilty of Obirin or Sasuke himself even giving Sakura the kakashi-rin "im not good" talk. Even the whole deal with hokage, Sakura is bound to support Naruto, not Sasuke. to me, Sakura was just joking about being hokage because to her, it was part of a good time in the bleakest of situations to have the team reunited.
No matter how haters cut it this chapter, NS is still top dog. I have faith in NS, nothing has shifted this chapter, if it did, it has been so minimal, its hardly any minimal gain for SS or loss for NS. I mean remember, this is for middle school ranged children to understand, its not as hard and blown out of proportion as others make it, this entire post explaining it is just how carried away we can get with these things. Blushing or dirt, it does not matter and does nothing. It would take a lot and I mean A LOT to bury that Sakura-Kushina parallel, again, its for the reader to figure out, not try to make it some logic on the characters to deduce. Sakura never knew Kushina so she won't understand it, but others like Minato, and possibly Kurama and Naruto himself, well they can build on this, also again the forehead stuff. I'm just going to say this, everything Kushina said, Naruto followed. So far Sakura is the only girl like Kushina. No way its going to be reaffirmed either. In a nutshell yes, if things continue on the way they were with 631 and without anything really advancing for SS like in this one, NS would be canon at this rate. I have faith, 95% NaruSaku will happen, just really need to see things when it comes to Hinata being finished up and how Sakura will come to terms with her feelings when the time is right. I can still see 2 future NS events that are highly possible, the forehead for obvious reasons building on the sakura-kushina thing and letting Sakura realize it was Naruto, not Sasuke that day. The other is Naruto finishing the promise and Sasuke comes back but she chooses him over Sasuke.
NS is still top dog, lets hope it stays this way, otherwise the Kushina parallel dies with us.
