I think what makes me laugh hard is seeing NH fans say that the video should have been about Naruto and Hinata, but the music is from road to ninja which was about Naruto and Sakura.

Yeah Sasuke tried to kill Sakura but in the end he didn't lay a hand on her. We're speaking murders, not attempts.

I was more focused on the first reunion where she was saved by Yamato. Not to mention how he mind raped her later. Granted mind rape is tricky bc it's mental but I think the ninja world would have laws concerning genjutsu torture. Attempted murder is still attempted murder> She would have been killed had the others not intervened.

 

He didnt kill a population but he threatened to subjugate the entire world and use force to maintain it. Then he attempted to do so and would have succeeded had naruto not intervened. Kind of like how Hitler tried to subjugate the world and might have succeeded had the US not intervened. He's not Hitler mind you the latter moron was far more successful but still.

Naruto loves both Sakura and Sasuke, but he knows that she tried to kill him first. Well he got the glare so because of the circumstances that's enough for me.

Yes that is right, at least jellal got arrested even though he helped out with seis battle and he got consequence and his whole goal is redeeming himself, laxus got consequence for the battle of fairy tail. Pirates 1 did this better even after Jack saved Elizabeth they still arrested and norrington said one good deed is not enough to redeem a life time of wickedness which is right.

I always hated the fact that Sasuke always got a get out of Jail free card with everything and no one ever held him accountable. Try going out and attacking a woman, or giving secrets away to rival countries, or knocking up a woman and running for the hills.

 

Yes there's an element of danger and dominance to relationships but the truth is that when you hold power in a society you are held accountable. Plain and simple. If there were no checks or balances on power our society wouldn't function at all.

 

So why does Sasuke get a free pass with everything??? Bc he's cute, he's the bad boy, he's Batman,etc.

 

Stupid, just stupid. Put your bets on him and you end up just like Sakura: Knocked up, alone, abandoned, depressed, and completely screwed up in the head.

 

Which is why accountability has to go both ways. Sakura trusted Sasuke which means he has power over her and needs to be responsible with said power. Doesn't mean that he has to marry her but that if he doesn't want what she wants he should cut her off right then and there. Sakura needs to understand the implications of what she's getting herself into, ignore the irrational emotional idiot in her head saying grab on to the bad boy, and move the fukk on.

The post I replied to talked about a pile of bodies and mothers of dead sons.. Sasuke didn't kill a 'ton' of people like they said, and no mom should punch him in the face for letting Sasuke go.

That, and Sasuke isn't the only one getting a free pass. He's not getting special treatment. Kabuto leads the goddamn orphanage, Gaara is a kage, the elders are still on the counsil as far as I know..

By the way in my opinion helping Akatsuki to capture Killer Bee is the same as mass murderer. If you support terrorist , give them bunch of supply/resource/gun , even though your hand is clean from blood, you still indirectly become a murderer/killer.

So Ria and I were talking about the latest Fairy Tail chapter, and we briefly talked about what the next generation could be to which we brought up Naruto's case with Boruto and his generation.. Somehow we mentioned Sarada and that's when our conversation started shifting as to who she takes after in terms of personality.. Her mother, or (as much as we hate to say it) her father?

 

 

Ria believes in terms of her caring side it's like Sakura's whenever she's around Naruto, only in Sarada's case it's Boruto.. Though like Sakura she's also got her spunk ya know the Shanaroo! or Hell yeah! moments.  SO far because we don't have much on her, she's not like her mother in a sense that She wants to become the hokage, and not really thinking about boys retrospecting on the series.  As far as interests go we both said, "Yeah she's got some interest in Boruto, but its not borderline obsessed like her mother was for Sasuke or Hinata was for Naruto... Atleast not yet." 

 

 

Like myself, Ria's not like BoruSara is like NaruSaku, but they've got some similarities is what we both in said during the convos. 

 

She then asked if I myself ship Boruto and Sarada? sure, but just for fun mainly, and it's on a far miniscule level ( like a caterpillar's worth) than how I shipped NaruSaku. There has to be alot of growth and chemistry between the two for me to say "Okay It's gonna do down this road"

 

The only thing I'll say that Boruto and Sarada has a paring are: 

A.  Sarada delivering the Bento for Boruto to his father ( used as excuse for her to meet Sasuke), but later thanking him because that in a sense was catalyst for her to discover to becoming Hokage.  (Which can be pretty debatable)

 

 

 B. Boruto blushing after Sarada compliment his blue eyes,

 

 

C. Sarada blushing after Boruto promising that he'd protect her since she wants to become the hokage. 

 

 

So yeah there is some groundwork laid out, but I guess it's a matter of how their journey goes.. Personally I'm also not really all that into it because of how the pairings  were handled in the original series. Ria also threw her cents in this to even say "Well atleast unlike SS and NH they do like each other without them even realizing it" and I guess that's one thing you can say. Though, we both also said that we wouldn't be surprised if the same card gets pulled again, and just to clarify she's an NH and SS fan (NOT IN TERMS OF STORY,  just for fun and looks) for story. Plus, she's admitted to me time and time again that they were both kitten because there was no chemistry and that NaruSaku and SasuKarin made more sense.

We both do think this comparison is hypocritical on both Kishi and SP's part.. but the only thing I could kinda see was the last one, but that's really stretching.

 

 

Ria even agrees with me saying that "Yeah if this is their way of hiding the fact that NS was ever a think than they're failing miserably and it's shallow too. I swear SP's being runned by idiots!! except for those that made good stories like Chikara, Kakashi Filler arc, and RTN!!" 

 

 

After that i just told her next time we go out whether it's a movie, or lunch I'd pay just for her saying that.

My problem is that for whatever reason, romance becomes the main point for female characters in the series. It's not to say you can't have love, that's all good since Fairy Tail has that, but unlike that said series, everyone seems to forgot that they have other points in them as well. Sakura could have stick to Team 7 love, but the whole Sasuke focus, whether it deviates from Team 7 or not which is confusing enough, is her main point.

Her early part 2 didn't have much of it, so we actually got some character out of her. Then around Kage Summit Arc, it has to be forever love. You can't have her plan differently if it wasn't involved with love. Back then, it was acceptable, but in foresight, it is pretty pathetic. This is the problem with lack of interactions: no one is "interesting."

Everyone has to stick with the ones they are "programmed" with rather than feel freelance. It's the reason why some feels forced like we all the sudden supposed to know that they're best friends. Anyone remember when everyone had to help Naruto to break the shield by Obito with Rasengan. I remember how a lot of people here and out there felt detached because now all the sudden, they're important. Not to mention, why not use shadow clones.

I remember vividly that I had to defend and while I wrote is what I currently think, I do believe that it doesn't excuse it. It should also still develop the side characters further to make a moment amazing. It's what happen when you're in a bubble of thinking this is how all series work. It would be fine on movies, depending on their roles and writing, but Naruto was a long-running series, so why those characters felt forced.

I believe people is placing all bets on Sarada because it's a fresh start and as far as anime goes, guys need that "waifu" material because anime. I guess that's why they still can't accept husbando or whatever. Naruto started rough with Sakura as you can guess it, so seeing an actual decent heroine will be a second coming for them. That's how I see it.

I always said that sasuke is never a villain. I said that because that's how story work. Kishi never make him a villain even in his low(kage summit arc).

I think that because there's no love triangle in the first place and you can't deny that salad will become burito love interest even with a hokage subplot. That because she's not sasuke. If she's, I can see the story follow her subplot more than the main plot.

 Well to be fair gruvia for a long time was very one sided on Juvia's part where it seemed to be the only thing with her character, didn't help with that omake chapter of 413 days had Juvia's entire room full of Gary stuff. Heck it wasn't until tartarus arc were I finally started to be on board with it when it became more toned down on Juvia's side and more even sided.

 

I honestly wish Kishimoto would of focused on another goal besides getting sasuke for sakura in part 1 or at least loosing site of for the begging before slowly pursuing that goal again as she becomes more distant to sasuke. For the Kage arc I would of had her (possible with her  areLee, Kiba & maybe Sai if he wasn't left behind) confronts Sasuke (possibly along with the rest of Taka there) during bridge who after facing Danzo is tired,.Sakura tells him she is here to stop admits that her love for him was selfish and wrong for both of them and while she still cares for him, he can't allow him to do anymore damage as it's effecting the leaf and Naruto. They clash (possible in group battle of Sakura, Lee and Kiba vs Sasuke & Taka as suppport) Sakura gains the upper hand due to sasuke so tired after all the fighting he has done Sakura aims for the kill but can not do it due to still caring for him as a teammate. Sasuke take advantage of this but Naruto, Kakashi and Yamato (possibly Sai) stop him before he tries to kill her. After Sasuke has fled Sakura curses herself for hesitating, thanks Naruto for the save and apologise for lying earlier about her intensions for Sasuke earlier and vows to get stronger.

That bit with the K11 with at least be a bit more forgivable if they were doing their own jutsu instead of the rasengan.

Honestly waifu fans should just stop looking for waifu in every series not everyone needs them.

I mean you can dislike it but it's not bad writing in a way, just a trope. SS could be whatever, have the story didn't go dark and take itself serious. You don't see Gray stabbing her, breaking her heart intentionally, and act like all will be well in the end. It's always taken itself comical until drama kicks in but never so dark and grim that goes on and on and on.

I can deal with that. It's not my preference but I can understand where it's coming from. SS I can't not one iota. Maybe if I see tons of proof that they bond strongly together, I can sort of buy it more or at least try to accept it, but this one is purely negative. It's bad as how Okita from Gintama made up flashback with Hijikita like they were best buddies and that is the joke!

I totally agree with you there, if it's some kind consolation prize like we know you NS fans are mad so we'll make your pairing canon with Boruto and Sarada.

Nope it just doesn't work that way.. i mean will it be cool to see them be canon? I guess, It'll just be (as of right now) okay you guys finally made a legit healthy pairing, but that doesn't I've forgiven any of you.
