Saddest death that impacted the main character,   Igneel from Fairy Tail or Jiraiya from Naruto?

 

 

I'll be honest as depressing as Jiraiya's death was for Naruto's character.. I feel that Igneel's fight was alot more despressing and left a bigger impact for Natsu.

Oh ya igneel death had bigger impact on the main character. While jiraya was sad igneel was more emotional cause natsu finding him was built up through out the series and he finally finds him only to lose him shortly after that and its even more sad since they showed section where we see igneel and natsu talks about him.
Now I have a question which brothers death was more emotional and had a bigger impact ace from one piece or itachi.

Even though I'm no where near this be ace and whitebeard over jiraya. Besides the saddest death in naruto was minato and kushina.

Alright so you guys know about the new 6 series that were coming out in Shounen Jump, and honestly for the longest time I felt that BnHA was and still is the best thing they've got after the Naruto ending.. Red Sprite was alright even though there should've been more.. Demon's Plan had potential.. Anyway point is I decided to check out U19 a new series that just started I think last week.  

 

i'll just say this it's similar to Codename Kids Next Door. 

 

Not in terms of plot, but in terms of concept, and cause my ex recommended it to me, and when I read the first chapter I was like okay it's certainly got potential to be great I can see it  like I did with BnHA... Then chapter 2 just came out and okay (I'm not sure if the mangaka wanted to do it to be different or to just get it out of the way to focus on other major plot points (assumming it survives the jump axe treatment which could be likely).

 

 

Basically the mangaka pulled something that usually wouldn't happen until the end of the series,  and immediately I was like damn right off the gate?? that's interesting.

I didn't want to make a thread until and if it survives The axe process.. I mean so far BnHA, Black Clover, and Promise Neverland have done it so the possibility is there, but we'll just have to wait and see.. I guess it's also because it's got that KND concept to it similar to how BnHA had the whole super hero concept which is why I wanna see where it goes. 

 

 

Point is I read these first two chapters and just laugh at the people who still claim Naruto's the best, and more importantly to Kishi lol... Anyway what do you thinks?

What are the six manga that were created since Naruto ending that were dropped? (or was that five?) Have only read Red spirit but if someone tells me the manga name i'll try to write up a first impression of whether it should have survived or not.

I just read the manga Lucky link to. The first image is the main character tied to girl with a red string around their fingers... Is it just me or have ever since Naruto ended all the new manga in SJ seem to want to quickly establish their pairings as quickly or as blatantly as possible?

my guess is that they want to make it as  blatant possible because of Naruto's ending cause they probably know the backlash that Kishi had gotten after the Naruto ending so instead of going the Kishi route Yuuji (the mangaka) decided to just establish it right off the bet to avoid the whole aspect of pairing wars which is pretty understandable. 

 

Besides at least we can easily say that Eiji and Akari have better chemistry within these first two chapters of U19  than NH/SS did throughout the entirety of Naruto.

It not just this manga this one was just the most blatant.

 

Remember it wasn't just a last minute forcing of those two pairing it was at least five years of harassing kishimoto into compliance. I think those editors doing that have basically change the "culture" at Shounen Jump. Also I'm not just talking about Naruto but also the backlash against Bleach's ending as well, creating this atmosphere/culture/what one wants to call it. From "every once and a while just bring up the pairing interaction to please the girls reading this but focus on the story (ie action that draws in the boys)" to "if you don't want your editors to force you to abandon the story you have been working years towards because they are hearing that some of your fans (that may not even be putting any money into the manga by paying for something) want another pairing. You must blatantly set up who is going to end up with who as soon as possible. Do not wait till the last minute."

 

For example Food wars the first chapter ended with an image of Erina and a message from Saiba "that Souma should find a girl that he wants to spend the rest of his life cooking for." My Hero Academy made Deku and Gravity girl obvious but a while back when they moved into the dorms they showed that she had clear feeling for him. Red Sprite lasted 12 chapter and it already had a love interest. Black Clover also has not been shy from what I've seen of hints who the main character end up with.

 

Only One Piece and One Punch Man have not done this (from what I've seen,) and that because neither of them have any romance to speak of (for the most part.)

 

At least that what I've been getting. This manga just made it even more blatant then the others that I felt the need to bring it up.

Well I just watch Anime America have done a video on the top 10 worst Anime couples and you will all be happy to know what is number 7 of the list made me smile that it was oin the list as well and that is SasuSaku.

SS was Number 7. The first part of her rant was not wrong. To be honest Sasuke and Sakura are barely a couple and it might as well be Sasuke was just a sperm donor. Could have done with out her mentioning Salt or saying she been wait her whole life to do that rant.

 

Orihime/Ichigo get honorable mention but not nH?

Yes, It is writing but when it happening to multiple stories under the same magazine. Its stop simply being "writing," and becomes a trend/pattern/what ever one wants to call it.

Nh got an honorable mention on her best anime couples list I know because I watched it and I think ichigo and rukia were on their too.

Well they must be a NH fan after all you know Hinata fans they just love going to vids like them waiting man just waiting to see if someone will dare hurt the great Hinata and her dreams of being with Naruto, as NH fans have nothing better to do after all, with the salt I think she was talking about the SS fans as she knows that they will flag the vid cause she bad mouth Sasuke.
