we've been over this before, that's not what he said. writing poems about a platonic bond and a color spread that looks nothing like a honeymoon. you sure have a skewed interpretation of things.
stay salty.

Yes, they are.didn't Ichigo's mother parallel with Orihime
Posted 18 August 2016 - 10:40 PM
Ichigo felt lost and felt like a create-a-character game where that character is the worker as everyone else gets the development and connection. Seriously, the last chapter, you wouldn't know how much relevancy he has on the story.I don't think orihime replace her, she Still the second most important character. It just, kubo writing make all the main characters useless and have no direction. Even ichigo himself, how many time he got trolled by kubo with not win anything?

They were. Could have done something with it, but it's cool, I guess. Just act like The Last Bleach The Movie happened.didn't Ichigo's mother parallel with Orihime

Why would you, as an author, develope a supposed platonic bond between two characters so goddamn far that there is no place/room for other serious relationships between them any more?
It does not make sense ...

^he didn't state that at all, what kind of bath salts are you on XD he said at the time that they're more than friends, but less than lovers. This guy wrote poems about them together, and drew a honeymoon color spread featuring the two of them. Lmfao

hmmm not sure if joking, but I agree. If One Piece ends like these two then no one can deny that SJ is pulling the strings and all 3 endings are bullcrap.
I mean, If Oda says that it's not about pairings and it ends up being pairings at the end how much more Ass Pull can you get???
I would say Oda doesn't seem like that time, but I'm gonna hold my reservations for when that day comes. At this point I see One Piece having a fantastic ending, since it makes Money. I know for a fact Shounen Jump is gonna make a spin off series probably on Luffy's kid simply cause it makes Money. It doesn't have to be Oda whose doing it, cause we all know One Piece is there Cashcow.
If it does happen to One Piece though, SJ gets the middle finger from me not just for Bleach, but even Naruto. Does that mean I forgive Kishi, absolutely not with everything he says, unless an interview comes out with him saying It was all Jump.
Actually, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Kishi want to end Naruto around the 10 year anniversary, but because if it was doing so well Jump wanted it to continue?
People wanna wonder why I'm pointing fingers at Jump, its because after 680 the pacings been ridiculously fast. There are so many ways you can take the ending with Yhwach going through the portal when Rukia and Renji notice Ichigo on the ground. Given how many plot threads have been unanswered I don't buy for a fact this is how Kubo intended to end things off. Especially with Chapter 666, given the finale of each Arc, platonic or not, Ichigo and Rukia always have an important moment in the arc, and he clearly set that up. The next most important fact, KUBO AND HIS EDITORS DON'T GET ALONG!! THE ARRANCAR ARC WAS SUPPOSE TO SHORTER THAN WHAT IT WAS, BUT HIS EDITORS FORCED HIM TO KEEP IT GOING BECAUSE THE ARRANCARS WERE THAT POPULAR AT THE TIME!!
Well I had to get that mini rant off my chest
I'll probably hack a nuclear bomb device and aim it at you, Luckychi...
Aizen: You believe you are aiming at that at LuckyChi, how fascinating the target of the missle is launched directly at Weekly Shounen Jump!!

it is a platonic bond not only because of the ending, but because the relationship pretty much reached its peak during ss arc. kubo could have turned it romantic, but he didn't. that wasn't his intention, but many people interpreted that way.

Because Rukia was Ichigo's connection to SS. She brought him into that world and in exchange he made it easier for her to assimilate into the real world. I think of it as bonds between two worlds basically. It could've made for a great love story though but I guess Kubo didn't want that.

That's why ichihime and nh is different.Well if Ichigo's own mother shared similarities with his future side then.......

I was the same after Naruto and still am. I feel like pain was the ending. But after seeing naruto's nindo in LAW, neji's promise to change the hyuga, the cycle of hate, and the revolution prophecy sometimes I wonder if Kishi wanted to do something more like have naruto change the whole system. But SJ pulled the plug. I just wonder sometimes how much of naruto's problems were Kishi's fault and how much responsibility he holds for the ending. For example, even though SS happened, as early as chapter 3 the most genuine pairing moment was naruto complimenting Sakura's forehead.

Do I gotta fight you with AHK and Michi? It won't matter. The ending would have him with Hinami as Touka goes with Nishiki.

Thinking about it. IR had the most time to become a romantic paring. She was practically living in Ichigo's bedroom and feelings could've developed there easily.
However, the moment Kubo made Rukia push Ichigo to apologize to Orihime after Yami beat her up I knew IchiHime had a chance of happening. In a sense Rukia supported Orihime and most likely knew of her crush. I'll admit I got very scared when Orihime voiced her insecurities about Rukia and Ichigo's close relationship but it made me respect Orihime so much and I fell for her character more because in a way it reminded me of Sakura's own insecurities. I figure this moment for IR fans made them believe the IR was going to happen as well.

For real XDDDD

Does anyone remember when Ichigo abandoned Orihime, the girl he supposedly loved, in order to save Rukia, the person who he had a "platonic relationship" with? Remember that he didn't do the same thing when he felt Chad die?
Again, he abandoned the woman he supposedly loved for a woman he was supposedly only a friend with XD
