Can I throw my two-cents in? 

Sometimes we do stupid things in order to protect the people we love and people don't always act rationally.

 

Anyway, first things first, I'm not playing any blame game, nobody was to blame for that mess, but I was a bit hurt by Naruto's reaction, understandable as it is, I think it was quite obvious Sakura did what she did (messing up or not, depending on personal opinion) to keep him safe. Does this justify her behavior? I don't know, but what I know is that what she did was a very human and realistic thing and I appreciate her for it.

Speaking from my personal experience and what I understood by reading the 'confession':

I never felt bothered by that confession because I always saw a girl desperately trying, by any means possible (even some that are not 'right' but when we are desperate and trying to protect someone 'wrong' and 'right' become less important than they ought to be) to keep somebody who she loved very much, be it in a platonic or romantic way, from harm.

Personally, and let me stress the personally, her behavior never really bothered me because I understand where it comes from and if facing a similar situation I'd probably do the same, not out of pettiness or with malevolence but because I would want to protect someone I loved. During a so dire situation I'd do everything I could to keep somebody I loved out of harm's way, even something like that, as long as he/she is fine everything else is secondary.

You need to activate the option first it's not automatic, I can't tell where exactly but it shouldn't be that hard to find on the net I did that for both my notes to avoid any bad surprises. I would like to help you more but I'm quite busy now and not in the best state, if you can wait I will look for it tomorrow just PM me.

You clearly did not understand that scene at all if you are upset over her calling him a fool. She's sitting there SOBBING and thinking "I always kitten up, I always make mistakes...All I do is hurt Naruto." God damn that Sakura is a total b*tch for calling him a fool!

Never mind her lamenting all her kitten ups, all her mistakes, all the things she's done to hurt him.

If she were taking advantage of HIS FEELINGS she would be using them to her advantage. She's not getting anything for HERSELF out of this, she's doing it FOR HIM. 

Literally, could you be anymore wrong about this "Fool" thing? First she called him a "Loser" and was "Mocking" him. GO BACK and read this scene, and you'll understand that her calling him a FOOL is directed more at herself as in "How can this fool love someone as awful as me?" 

Seems to me all you care about is Sakura's "Fool/Loser" and her mocking him.

Naruto is just a big jerk, right? The Queen is never at fault for anything. Let's totally ignore the fact that she ignores Naruto in 699. Obviously her feelings for Sasuke were totally gone when she confessed!

You complain about people assuming you're blaming Naruto, yet you continue to assume I have some vendetta against Sakura. I don't. I'll keep saying it. It's a complicated situation that you are simplifying to portray Naruto as the sole individual responsible for the problems.

You're right, but the number of Naruto fans living in the USA can't be compared to the ones in Japan. 

Japanese fans are supposed to be the targeted audience, since they are the ones who are supposed to read Boruto and then see the second movie, which imo, is gonna fail too. 

Anyway, they can have all the money they want, that will not repair what they've done nor the trust people had in Kishi and SP.

I am not, nor do I think AHK is, blaming Sakura for her approach to the confession. I think we're both simply saying it's problematic to view that chapter solely through a lens that paints Naruto as an a**hole. If we're talking about responding in "real life" and "genuine" ways, then I think it's possible to understand Naruto's response too. Should he have been more understanding? Absolutely! Was he out of line telling Sakura that she was lying? Definitely. But was his response understandable given the situation? I think so. Were Sakura's feeling complicated and clearly unresolved? Yes! 

 

It was a crappy situation all around. That's it.

Oh no! I was just stating my personal views on the matter I was not accusing anybody of anything. 

About the 'real life' Naruto's reaction, you might be right, the only thing that perplexes me is the fact that he should be the super-perceptive guy and I feel that this passed totally over his head.

I felt much the same. I didn't have a problem with what she did, but I did feel she could have handled it much better. I also thought that Naruto reacted poorly, but at the same time, I understood him wanting the truth, and not wanting to have her tell him she loved him if she didn't mean it. 

 

The situation was sh*tty and left a lot of things on the table.

 

We can agree on that, but the only thing I really feel is that when she confessed she was, I'm not even saying confused, but really in love with both of them, because I think people are messy and they can be in love/crush/whatever with more than one person at the same time. But that might just be me.

Now moving on to what you are all saying there are two side to a coin remember what Pigeymoto said on Naruto never loving Sakura, that he just saw her as prize to be won which is why fans in Japan are so angry and now hate him. I mean they now call him a scum bag for just using Sakura the way that he was doing why I don't think Kishi will say, I mean others have already been asking this since it came out, Why Sakura, why use her as this prize?

 

Now going on to Sakura and her lie well we can all blame Kishi after all he must have been on crack or something I mean it was just away to stick his middle finger up to us again we can't fight we all need to stick together and face the real ones who are making us all fight and turn on each other, we should hate them.

 

They are Kishi, SP the NaruHina and SasuSaku fans and Hinata, I mean I know that there are some of you on here that do hate her and that is fine most of us I mean we all have to remamber that long ago Kishi just said Fu**** to Naruto and Sakura.

 

But there is a point I would like to make on Hinata one is that her fans say that Hinata deserves Naruto, especially since if Pein hadn't already used that jutsu that made Konoha a near crater, she would have been responsible for the destruction of Konoha because of her 'sacrifice'. Plus, the NaruHina fans that are not really fans of Naruto that constantly bash Sakura always forget that Sakura took a more difficult path in preserving life and healing, even Hinata. Plus, I feel that Hinata was more of a kitten then Sakura in the beginning because she did more harm to Naruto then good by not even saying a simple hello.

 

After all Hinata knew his problems even longer then Sakura, but refused to help for some reason. The reason is unknown and not given, but she doesn't seem to be even a little more proactive unless it was conveniently without backlash or when Naruto's status was starting to get better in the eyes of the populace.

I did not re-reference it YOU brought it up again. You keep asserting this "Fool" Moment like its supposed to MEAN something. You've misquoted it, you've misremembered it, there was no mocking, there was no "hahaha that foolish Naruto!" It was "dear god, that FOOL is in love with ME." As in ME of all people.

Alot of NS fans on Facebook still believe in Kishi, they say this NH movie was just for the western fans but "once Hinata's winter dream is over, spring will come around and we'll get NS" I still have some faith that the horrible reception and loss of money will lead them to change the ending of the anime

 

The only way that is going to happen is The Last flops miserably in the West. However, I strongly believe that sometime next year, Kishi and SJ will give false hope to NS with a NS family (or just the couple) poster or two for them to attend the lottery in April that has the two new chapters. Same stradegy with the calender where SP made one of Naruto holding hands with a secret person. I think Sakura's birthday is in April and apparently their was a calender that stated when Naruto first fell in love with Sakura was on April 3. They are going to most likely troll NS fans. I just know it those mother kittens.
