nah, i don't want an apology from that scumbag. now that he's come out of the closet as being a sexist pig, i don't trust him with any of the female characters anymore. also, his story is dictated on the suppose popularity of the characters. so yeah, his brain is pretty kittened up.

Naruto is not the one with the "Special eyes" that can apparently see through lies, feelings and emotions with 100% accuracy. He is fallible and he f**cked up. I don't know what I said that caused this issue to begin with; "I get pissed when people complain that Sakura should be the one to confess. She already did and he called her a liar in front of everyone they knew."

Thats a fact. He called her a liar when she was being honest. 

It was a douche move.

You would have Naruto just accept it right there? With zero regard to how she felt about Sasuke? With zero resolution of her feelings towards Sasuke? He was supposed to just ignore all that and go along with it? 

 

What about him?

 

I already said that he could have handled it better, but how about not broadcasting his feelings to the entire world and trying to manipulate (no matter the intent) them in front of an audience. What gives her the right to put Naruto through that? That too was a douche move. The entire situation was equally unfair to him.

I just felt that was a little harsh in regards to Naruto because he was forced into an uncomfortable situation, and there really wasn't much he could do. It wasn't entirely his fault, thus the unfairness. All in all, the situation was a kitten one, and neither Sakura or Naruto approached it in the correct way. It's unfair to claim one was at fault, because both of them kittened up. That's what I was trying to say from the start. Neither Sakura nor Naruto are innocent.

SP might not even give a kitten about BO or reception, the series is ending this year anyway so what do they have to lose by forcing Kishi to change it?

Soul eater anime overlap with the manga. Thus it need to have different resolution, since the manga is not finish. And the fact that soul eater is season anime.

Naruto anime is adaptation of the manga who follow the manga plot and get air every week. Just like dragonball, onepiece, bleach, and fairy tail anime.
It impossible to have different ending.

You guys have probably already talked about this but have you seen the gif where Naruto screams Sakuras name and catches her and smiles in the Last. Seriously that just broke my heart. Their bond was so awesome.

I am not going to feel bad for Naruto. Thats all there is to this. 

Why would I feel bad for Naruto who decided that he knew Sakura's feelings better then SHE herself knew them? Why Would I feel bad for Naruto when he assumed kitten without thinking? 

I never SAID anything about him accepting her confession I have an issue with him calling her a liar. IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. YOU. DON'T. DO. THAT. Its RUDE. rude, rude, rude. He could have pulled her away, he could have said it differently. instead he chose to DECIDE what Sakura felt or did not feel. 

No person has a right to decide how another person feels or does not feel that's why they are feelings AHK. Feelings are not right or wrong unless based on false conceptions. Naruto was in an uncomfortable situation which HE made even MORE uncomfortable

Again you can feel however you like about this scene, this confession, this whatever. My opinion is that Naruto f**cked up and showed his ass, while Sakura got the stink face from everyone because Naruto got to become the "Decider" of how she really felt or did not feel. 

In this situation Sakura was doing what she felt she HAD to do to protect him, to do GOOD for him. Naruto's "Your a liar!
was not for her benefit, or for the greater good.

Absolutely. I've been disappointed with endings before. I felt the end of Harry Potter was disappointing. But still, I never doubted that the ending was at least consistent with the world, themes, and attitudes JK Rowling created over the course of 7 books. Kishi has totally thrown everything out the window, and that's really problematic.

 

i wasn't hating on hinata, i was just basically saying the stuff that nh fans would say. i've been saying that kishi is at fault for all of this for a while. he controls the characters, not the other way around.

 

He absolutely does. And I was only saying that it seems like ALL his characters have been completely rewritten so they can be shoehorned into this awful ending.

Indeed. Placing all the blame on Naruto is unfair. First, we know that Sakura was being somewhat cagey as evident by the fact that she totally resorts to fangirl status in 699. So if we don't throw that chapter out as OOC behavior, then her confession was slightly problematic. Moreover, I can't help but think about the comment she made prior to her confession about how that "loser" was still in love with her.

Maybe Naruto could have handled it better, but Sakura is not without fault for how she handled that situation. 

 

But I think we can come to some agreement that it's unfortunate that in the manga we never get to see Naruto and Sakura have an honest conversation about their feelings without the specter of Sasuke hanging over their heads.
