I'm guessing SP just wanted to show that anything Sakura can pull off Hinata can too. There's really no point to it otherwise.

 

 

To make her more Sakura like! They already gave her Sakura background etc etc! 

 

Cutting hair can resemble starting a new. It's a new Hinata. I for certain do not recognize her.

I am rereading Neji vs Hinata... He accuses her of avoiding conflict, of wanting harmony and being too kind while Neji is stricter, colder and realistic. In addition, chapter 79 literally has Hinata and Neji representing the Yin and Yang. Their clan was clearly not in harmony and Naruto was to bridge the gap between  Hinata and Neji to bring harmony to the hyuugas. Neji ending with Hinata made perfect sense and Naruto was supposed to be the reason because he knew damn well how it felt to be an outcast and being cursed.
 

Well, NejiHina was born for this reason. And else too but I feel like they have the justification to it. Funny how SD support this a lot too. Too bad even he got swerved.

I wouldn't really consider Sakura's confession a "failfession". I really don't see what else Kishi could have done to convey it in a more convincing manner. To me the majority of the backlash was just business as usual. A large part of the fandom hates Sakura and so they will use any excuse to bash her. 
 
I'm not saying that Sakura's actions were 100% right. She could have handled the situation better. She tried to put Naruto well being before herself and she was even willing to throw away her and Naruto's friendship. To be honest I see it as one of her best moments in the entire series. 

Yes I actually didn't understand why the fandom was so angry at Sakura for her confession. It was bound to happen. Her mistake was in comparing Naruto to Sasuke and using her confession as a double whammy to stop the former from chasing the latter. But Sakura was only doing everything in her power to stop Naruto's Sasuke-obsession to keep Naruto safe because well...she loves him. People miss the point of that.
Yeah it was clumsy and badly timed but I don't believe Sakura was lying. Naruto just didn't believe her and for understandable reasons.

Rock lee sd is the real part 2 where things make sense.

Well according to The Last, Naruhina is now the new Yin and Yang and the sun and the moon reference which was for SNS in the manga is also now NH's. I'm mildly surprised that our Heaven and Earth reference wasn't given to NH as well.

I think Neji was being a jerk cause he really did not want to seem weak and inferior.

 

Hinata said that in fact that he is one suffering the most for being born in the cursed clan and its actually an act to hide it.

This part already did happen at the end of the kittenmovie  remember ? When Naruto said to his kids to watch out bc their Tsundere mommy is  really strong and scary        .
